Absolutely beautiful! We really really enjoyed this KOA. The sites were clean, level and shaded with beautiful trees. The pet park is large and our pups loved it!!! The office was beautifully decorated and well stocked. Pricing was so reasonable and lower than the KOA in mt Shasta and the mt Shasta one doesn't even measure up to this koa. We highly recommend and hope to stop here driving through the area again. This KOA deserves much higher stars than it has read more

Beware of brown dirty water in some camp spots! Great location for OSU visits and decent camp spots. I arrived and used an inline filter to fill my RV with fresh water. I was disgusted when I figured out the water was brown. I took the cup into the office to see if this could be fixed. Woman acted like nothing was wrong and said it was just tested and is safe. I've since learned this is a common issue in the park. My RV water system is still stained after several fresh water flushes. WIFI is terrible and yes the showers are old and not well kept. Just don't use there water. read more

Nowhere on the site does it say No Hammocks Allowed, and they had my reservation for at least three weeks before I drove more than an hour to stay there for the entire weekend. When we arrived, though, they said, "I see your ADA accommodation notes 'close to restrooms, must have hammock trees' but for the ¿integrity of our trees?, we can't have you use your hammock." We were on the opposite side of the grounds from the restrooms and I know there was a closer site. Ok, tree huggers, we also care about trees, but hammocks aren't going to hurt the trees. I understand that the trees may not be close to the restrooms, but you had three weeks to tell me not to come if we weren't allowed to use our hammocks. We wanted to take showers about three hours after they were visited by the cleaning crew. We could see from across the mostly empty grounds that no one had spent more than the length of time a toilet trip would take inside the restrooms. Before we showered, we checked the store for soap and sandals and the personnel said the restrooms were bleached daily. They have soap, no shampoo, conditioner, no sandals except for deep summer time. And yet... when we pulled back the shower curtains... Stickers on the wall. Hair on the wall. Adult... diaper... on the floor... swollen from daysssss of being in the water. Needless to say, I washed my feet again before putting on my shoes. We returned to the office within fifteen minutes to notify the person at the desk that the maintenance crew was not doing their job. Will possibly visit again. But will definitely be bringing our personal shower to keep on our campsite. Not doing laundry there. Wanted to try the mini golf, but left instead. Had to drive to fish in the Willamette. "Walking distance" fishing in the Calapooia is very unsafe. read more

The campground itself is very nice, The spaces are gravel relatively, But unfortunately, being one of the most expensive places we've stayed at in 2 weeks on the Road, We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the laundry facility. We found the bathrooms to be kind of gross and sometimes no toilet paper available, In the men's room. There are signs that say the bathrooms are clean several times a day.And I find that hard to believe . I don't usually write reviews, but what my wife and I witnessed was unacceptable. The manager at this KOA has no business working with people. He was unprofessional, showed zero compassion, and was verbally abusive. Our neighbors, a young couple in their 30s, had their truck break down. They live full-time in their RV and needed an extra day to figure things out. Their site was flooded, and the KOA wasn't even close to full, but the manager never offered them a different site. Instead, he parked his golf cart in front of their site and continued to verbally abuse them the entire morning while they were trying to get out. Check-out was at 11, and he literally counted down like they were children, calling the cops at exactly 11am. The sheriff showed up and was cool to the couple, saying he'd be back in an hour and a half to see if they needed help. But after the sheriff left, the manager went back to harassing them, now with a young man in tow. About 20-30 minutes later, the couple's tow vehicle arrived, and as they were about to leave, the manager came closer, taunting them and saying they were still trespassing and that the sheriff was on his way to arrest them. He also told them they were never welcome back. I wanted to knock this guy out myself. My wife said it perfectly: he's an abuser, verbally and mentally abusive. This couple had just buried their dog of 12 years, their truck broke down, and they couldn't get any compassion. They weren't holding anyone up, and no one was waiting for them to leave. This was a bully harassing people who were having one of the hardest weeks of their lives. No excuses--no one should be treated, spoken to, yelled at, or harassed like that. We will never return and have told our motocross family not to either. We have breakdowns all the time, and if someone treated us like that, it would be unacceptable. You won't see our family or our motocross family back here. You should be ashamed for hiring this person. That guy is a complete coward. read more

You will be camped next to homeless tent residents who live in this campground. On Labor Day we were camped next to to a group of homeless who had people coming and going all through the night and never went to sleep, partying and talking loudly until sunrise. They also had people from outside the campground coming for visits with the residents living here all through the next day. We had to cut our stay short as we didn't get any sleep the night before and because no one answered the after hours noise line. Requested a refund for our first night and didn't hear back from the host. The drugs and drinking and all night visitors and noise was more the issue than any safety concerrns we had being camped 10 feet from the homeless tent camp. Still, keep this in mind if you're planning to reserve a campsite here. It was impossible to sleep (either day or night) next to so much commotion and activity. Cars and visitors coming and going from the camp all day. We were very unhappy to have to cancel our vacation due to having no ability to get a night's sleep next to this situation. Very unfair and unexpected, my KOA experience in the past did not prepare me for what we encountered. read more

First off pictures that are listed are not of this campground and the re reality is that all of the entire site becomes flooded and nothing but gross mud. I couldn't even step out of my camper without getting all muddy and let alone trying to take my dog to the bathroom. she would always come back completely covered in mud and to top it off, I was told I wasn't allowed to use their restrooms/showers because I was considered an extended stay which is 27 days or more. which meant I had to use my own camper to clean my dog and me. But the few times I did use their restrooms they were not clean dust and mold every where, I even noticed a toilet go unplugged for 3 days. I understand that it's winter but the amount of mud and the facility not being kept clean is an extreme disappointment read more

Picked up some essential snacks, headed south and stayed at a cheap little cabin with a pool (at the Albany/Corvallis KOA). Everything was pretty standard as most of the reviews state. Not much to do around town but we did find, via the internet, a few pages saying to check out the Calapooia River. Unfortunately all three routes online sent us to personal properties with signs threatening to shoot us. They were doing road construction in town and three times we got caught in it, and it wasn't organized very well, so despite there being practically no traffic, we had to wait 10 minutes each time. After two hours with no luck finding the river we came back to the cabin. read more

I always ask if a park can accommodate a big rig before I reserve. We barely could fit our 42' rig in. No way our truck would fit. We could have parked on the grass which had not been mowed in months. Ugh! My husband hated dog crap all along the perimeter of our teensy site. Seems to be a LOT of full timers, I felt bad for our neighbors who had their patio chairs about 5 feet at most from our sewer hose. I said this is verging on false advertising to the host. He said "oh give it a chance, it's got new owners. " ????? Never again.. we have had two terrible visits to two different KOA's in different States. This was our last. read more

Ladies bathroom needs maintenance work. The stall partitions are just barely hanging on to the wall. Nobody tells you that the bathroom code changes on Mondays. You think you're going to have cable tv which is included in what you pay for. There was no cable tv at our site. read more

5 stars for being perfect for what we needed, not for being a 5 star luxury RV resort. We are in town for the for OSU family weekend AND needed an affordable place to stay. This is it. Very clean campground. It has a mini golf course, pool, playground. Dogs are welcome, which is helpful because our dog sitter's fee is 3/4 the price of staying here. They sell propane, fire wood and there is dump station . Exactly perfect for our needs! As much as this campground is perfect for our specific needs, it is not a destination on its own. There is not much to do in the area outside of visiting the university or walking around Corvallis. We were able to drive to the coast in about 1 hour. The campground itself is along a noisy road. read more

Very quiet campground. Had an outside pool, mini golf, playground, dog area and showers/bathrooms with a code to get inside. It was nice and quiet. Some friends and I have been staying here for a yearly local event. Last year, we got reservations for this year so that we could have neighboring sites. Instead, we are at opposite ends of the camp. When I checked in first, I asked if I would be next to them. I was told that due to privacy reasons, I couldn't be told. Ok, fine. But how about checking to see if where you were placing me would answer my question without a verbal answer? Instead, we find, as previously mentioned our undesirable placement. When we went into the office, we were instructed that since there hadn't a lock site payment, there wasn't anything we could do. Huh. That is not what we were told when we made the reservations in person last year. Granted there was a change of ownership last September but still I'm disappointed with this lack of customer service. read more

First time- and last time- we will ever stay at a KOA. The facilities are fine, but the campground is poorly managed. Dog feces everywhere and people with dogs off-leash (even though there are literally signs everywhere saying that dogs must be leashed and there is a fenced off-leash area). Quiet hours don't seem to be enforced. Uneven pavement/gravel that can be treacherous to navigate, though there is a hospital nearby for when you need stitches. Lots of trash left around and if you walk your dog at night, you will see drug use. Water is super hard, make sure you have a fresh filter and bring bottled water to drink. WiFi is super slow and unreliable. On the plus side, the people in the office a very friendly. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else, overall the savings isn't worth the trouble. read more

This was our first time staying at a KOA and it was great! Staff was very friendly when I checked in. We stayed here over the 4th and had one of the best times. They put on a fireworks show and it seemed like everyone brought their own as well and put on an even bigger show. It was great seeing everyone in the campground together having fun. The nature trail behind the campground was a great walk. The playground was fairly small, but we went into Corvallis and found a park called Wild Cat Park and my kids had a BLAST! read more

We've stayed at a lot of KOA's from California to Burlington, Vt. and every state in between and I can say with conviction that this was one of the worse. Spaces were very tight, the park was in bad need of overall maintenance, plants,grass, etc. we're dead or dying, their miniature golf course look like it was hit by an air strike and they had the Gaul to charge people to play it. This KOA appears to be an old and established RV Park. The sight was nothing to brag about, it was in need of some tender loving care. The lady who checked us in, she couldn't be bothered to look up and apply our points for this stay. Never been to a KOA that didn't look them up and apply available points. Guess it was just too much for the lady behind the counter! I would recommend this KOA as a last resort! Worst place in Oregon!! Ruined our Memorial weekend! We booked our site months ago only to receive an email about 30 min before we checked it that our site was cancelled! I called to get a vm message that basically said they were too busy to answer. I finally got someone after calling about 30 times. They told me "someone" called and cancelled our spot. I explained that it was not me or my husband and it must be a mistake on their part. They said they had already given our site away but had a different site they could give us. The site they gave us, our table was about 2 feet away from the neighbors sewer hookup. My husband went in and explained our unhappiness and that we booked an end with a patio and asked them to move us. The owner came out and without even an apology said "if you aren't happy with the site, we'll just give you a refund and you can go". What else is there to say. Knowing they're going to rent the site anyway and that we're completely screwed sucks but we left anyway. We will never EVER stay at a KOA again. read more

We are a family of 5 and this place is currently my daughters favorite stop on our 2 week long road trip. Mostly probably because of the ability to cool off at the pool on a hot summer's day. This place features a put put area for just $1 a person. It's not up to date, but for a dollar it's a great deal and the kids loved it. The service here is really good. Also compared to other RV parks, laundry is inexpensive. Something around $1 - $1.50 to wash and dry. Store sells small candies all 10-25 cents or so. My son really enjoyed picking out his little treats. Around 6p there was an ice cream social where they served up 2 large scoops for $1-$2. Perfect way to end a hot day. Notes: need to wear wristband to go to pool. They enforce parents overseeing minors at the pool. Pool water looked like it should be replaced - perhaps it became slightly murky due to heavy use? read more

Was flat out told by the lady at the front desk that the owners don't care. Based this stop on our trip on the pool being open (even called to confirm) and the pool was empty and being painted when we arrived. Went to cancel the stop on our return trip and were told the pool would be open. When we arrived on the return trip you had to have a special reservation to use the pool and were told there were none available. Worst customer service ever. Asked to speak to the manager and after waiting two hours the office called and said the owners didn't care about my concerns and did not want to talk to me. They had no problem taking my money though. read more

Very friendly staff. The park is a bit muddy from the grass and rain but they are adding new gravel which is a help. The spaces are good size and level which is nice. I don't have a tow and there isn't anything out here so I have to disconnect to go to town. Easy access to SR34 which gives me access to the necessities. read more

Disappointed! Very expensive and poor service. I called in and made a reservation to tent camp while on a college tour with the family. I briefly checked on line and it said the campsites were good for up to 6 people so I didn't think much of it when I called In and made the reservation for 4. I was advised that it would be about $35 which was a lot of money for a tent site with water only but I agreed and my cc was billed immediately. When we showed up they said the reservation was only for 1 person and that it would be about $47. There is no way in hell I am going to pay $47 for a tiny piece of ground for 10 hours. If they had told me at the time I booked it I wouldn't have wasted our time driving here. The lady didn't give one hoot that they messed up when I called to book the room. Fortunately they did refund my money and we did find a much nicer place for $21. read more

Ah! A rainy spring day in Corvallis area! This park has gravel over dirt on all roadways and pads. Some some chuck holes collect water into pools and some turn to mud. It'll likely be a long time until the park paves it all. But: I saw the caretaker (who has been there longer than I have been coming to this park) valiantly filling the worst holes with new gravel despite the downpour. When I asked him to fill the puddle at my entry door steps, he cheerfully brought a load of gravel and filled the depression. Hooray for customer service! Why not 5 stars? Well, while most of the reception staff matches the caretaker's friendliness and service orientation, there's one front-desk-demon who doesn't like her job and reveals it in not-so-subtle ways to the guests. Avoid her and you'll give the fifth star. read more

I am shocked this is a KOA. The campground has the bare minimum, no activites for kids, and sites are small. The playground has 2 metal slides that can't be used once the sun hits them and one tire swing and that is all. They have a tiny mini golf area that several holes were broken and they charge you to play. Staff is very unaccommodating and knowledgeable of the area. The owner was unfriendly and rude when talking to campers. I would never recommend this KOA. read more

Love it! Came in pretty late from Portland and Priscilla greeted us warmly and was very thorough in going over the amenities. After a week of camping it was nice to be at a place with clean, fully functioning bathroom and shower facilities. The only reason for this place to get 2 stars is the friendless of the "girls" who work the front desk. The showers were filthy, slimy and just gross. I ended up taking cleaner over and cleaning one of them myself before I could use it. There are two places for garbage with only 1 dumpster in each place. Always full and overflowing. Not enclosed so it's just flowing out into the street. There were some campers there that are permanent and their sites looked like the dumpsters. We were there for 6 weeks. The sites are cleaned when people leave but they do not make people clear their sites while they are there so it just looks sloppy. They said the pool closed at 9 but we went over there at 7 to swim and they were already shut down. We had to move sites as we were staying there long term and the spot we were in was not available for our whole stay. That was fine. When we moved to the second spot ON A FRIDAY AFTERNOON the one and only person who could get up propane was off. There are a lot of KOA's and we will not be back to this one. read more

This is our 2nd time here and we absolutely love it the history of this koa is amazing and when you go inside and ask the owner shall be more and glad to tell you not only is the pool nice and clean And the facilities are kept up-to-date on top of all of that the people are friendly and the grounds are immaculate we will return again they have everything from or shoes to picking berries to movies you name it if you want it in a campground it's here. We had some trouble with this Park in albany/Corvallis. We told the front office we were leaving on the 3'd and the owners daughter who runs the office failed to relay the message. The lady who takes care of the financial part of the park took 660 dollars out of our account without asking or telling us. This was for April rent that we did not owe because we were leaving on the 3 of April. She did call us the night of the transaction to tell us we were late paying 3 times but that was not true. We tried to pay the one time we were late but her daughter running the front office did not know how to take the rent and I had to go to work. Not very friendly. The park was not kept up it had pot holes and runoff issues. read more
