Checked my insurance at arrival. I received a bill for the appointment 6-8 weeks after. They said they were no longer covered by my insurance! I was never introduced to the dentist, it was always someone different. Also cancelled my appointment, I did not get a message, I took off work and they would not take me. High staff turn over. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. read more

Called this morning regarding a crown they worked on a few years ago. It cracked/broke and seems to have deteriorated to the point of becoming very painful. I'm guessing it is infected. They no longer take CDPHP or Fidelis. The only help they offered was to come in and pay cash. Given the reviews I see here, I think the insurance companies probably dumped them as opposed to their response of "Oh, that dentist left". I've never heard of insurance being connected to a specific doctor, just to the practice. Seems sketchy to me, just sayin'...... read more

Had a root canal done here and ended up in the hospital with a SEVERE case of SEPSIS. I was told by my physician that the root canal had most likely become infected from unsanitary DENTAL EQUIPTMENT. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere read more

I have never seen such an unprofessional practice in my life. I have been waiting for this cleaning for six months. I showed up for my appointment and the office was dark. The receptionist was super defensive. Said the hygienist canceled, but it was my fault for coming in because receptionist left a voicemail. Even though this practice sends automated messages for everything, and in this scam day and age no one picks up the phone for strange numbers. I didn't hear the voicemail. And she said--despite the fact that they use a text system-- it was my fault for not hearing the voicemail. Even worse, she said that the only appointments for this cleaning were now October. IT IS JUNE AND I HAVE BEEN WAITING 6 MONTHS for the appointment they canceled today. They aren't even trying to squeeze cancelations in. The last thing the receptionist said to me before I left with no appointment was 'businesses fall apart all the time.' So there you go. Scam operation. No patient care. STAY AWAY. read more

I started going there in February in 2023. I wanted to get implants put in so they did the x-ray that I had to pay $300 for because I have no insurance. They said I was a candidate for the implants they were supposed to be permanent Ended up. They weren't Sarah in the office told me that I would have permanent teeth so they pull the top teeth and put temporaries one on top next week. I got the bottom ones done. They put two implants on the bottom and two implants on the top. I been upset since day one when they took them and they were gonna they were gonna be loose. All they do is rock in my mouth. My teeth are not right. I cried to Dr. Linda and told her this is not what I wanted she said there's nothing I can do. I only put two implants on the top and two on the bottom Went on for months like this so when the permanent teeth came in, she said they would be better when I got the new permanent ones well I got the ones and then implants connect to the top two in the front connect to the bottom. There's nothing in the back so they move constantly you try to eat they fall out my bottom teeth, stick out my teeth move so bad they're the worst teeth ever I cry all the time. I was never happy when they put the new ones in the permanent ones supposedly they're permanent they said how come you're not smiling because I'm not happy with my teeth I have not been since day one and I told you that $30,000 I pay for these teeth and they look terrible. I went to see dr. Linda again cried about my teeth again. She said I don't think I can do anything. Let's do x-rays again. I said I'm not paying that extra money. She said no you won't have to did the x-ray. She comes back and says I can do two implants on the bottom there's nothing I can do on top there's no bone of course I cried. She said the implant will cost you another 5000 here. I already paid 30,000 so I can't do anything about the top at all so go home and think about it. I was so upset so then I found another doctor and just went to see him. He's an awesome doctor. I have to get my teeth all done again the top implants are no good so he has to take them out and put new ones in. He said the teeth are really bad and he can put implants on the bottom and the top in the back and screw them in like they should be permanent like I wanted, but I have to pay another $42,000. There's nothing I can do but get them fixed right whatever you do don't ever go to Dr. Linda or that practice. read more

Thank you God for letting me see what someone is REALLY like before adding her to my health team. The receptionist was wonderful to everyone, so it really surprised me to have met with such a nasty, spiteful, dentist. This is exactly why I don't like going to the dentist. She never even introduced herself (I found out later her name is Linda Maiorano. ) She came in, looked at my x-rays and asked me whatever to do. I told her I was thinking about a full set of dentures. She scowled down at me and said "You KNOW, dentures cost $3,000 EACH for the tops and bottoms. When she apparently failed to get the desired reaction, she continued to scowl and said "Can you afford THAT ? " A number of different replies ran through my head, but I. settled on "Yes." If $6000+ sounds like so much money to her, perhaps she doesnt make nearly as much as I do as a psychotherapist. I terminated the discussion rather than tell her I was interested in the new 4 snap-ins. No way will she ever get her hands on me if she already finds me distasteful .​ As we were leaving, my husband told me she was the one my grandson had seen last time. I felt so bad for him and he never said anything,, but my husband witnessed how HE was treated as well. I will find him another dentist later today. Both my husband and I went there for a routine cleaning and had an awful experience. To start the hygienist was extremely rough and didn't even allow us to rinse at all during the cleaning. Once the painful cleaning we were left to sit in the chair waiting for the Dr to come check our teeth. After a half hour of waiting I walked to the receptionist to see what the hold up was and the Dentist was on a personal call making us wait with complete disregard or consideration of our time. A week later we both had pain in our teeth. We had to come back to see the Dentist. I informed the Dentist Dr. Won that I had severe throbbing and pain in my tooth. She took xrays and said it was cracked. I asked if it was infected because of the pain she said absolutely not. Well the next morning I couldn't take the pain or brush my tooth. I called an endodontist brought in the xrays and he Immediately put me on amoxicillin and scheduled me for a surgery to remove the severe infection. How Albany County didn't see this is beyond me. As for my Husband they recommended a root canal. Turns out he wouldn't have needed one if Albany had completely removed the cavity correctly the 1st time. This office is incompetent and doesn't take time to do procedures properly. Neither of us would recommend this facility. Cavities are done far too quickly and carelessly. In addition Dr.'s don't listen to patients issues at hand. Be Leary. If I could give them negative stars I would!! read more

Honestly I used to avoid dentists at ALL cost was scared to go. I needed an emergency root canal and they got me in within a day of calling (receptionists super friendly and understanding). My first visit they broke down the payment for me ahead of time, and gave me sedation since they knew how nervous I was. The dentist and her staff were GREAT!!! Super non judgmental, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable (gave me headphones and a blanket). Easiest mouth procedure and now I'm 100 percent loving my smile!( without pain:)) thank you! read more

I found Albany County dental, at first I thought they were good. Now I'm having problems with lack of follow through and finishing the job. My spot. Was May 29th, we are now on August 26 and I have called numerous times, everybody guarantees me a call back and never happens. I have not been able to drink or two on the left side of my mouth all this time. To me this is very neglectful. Today I call for the office manager and told she's not available today. Staff is very friendly, that being said it is currently taking me 3 separate appointments spaced over 4 weeks to finish off a root canal and crown... yes that's correct 4 weeks. Also don't expect anything other than ibuprofen and the suggestion that you go to urgent care if you are in pain. Called the office after having root canal done (I took ibuprofen and then Tylenol) and was still in pain even while still a bit numb. Knew I'd never sleep through that later. Was put on hold 2 times and told I didn't need an antibiotic and that they don't prescribe narcotics. I get it, people abuse prescriptions however any Dr. should be prepared to manage their patients pain for 24-48 hrs after invasive painful dental work. They literally suggested I go urgent care, unbelievable. Will stick it out for the crown however not likely after that, even if they are "in network". read more

I was in Albany on business and had a dental emergency. It was a very lucky break for me that this office was a few minutes away from where I was. I was able to get an emergency appointment with Dr. Marina. The staff was very understanding and helpful. Dr. Marina was gentle and very attentive. I had a gum infection under a crown which required gum opening. The procedure was quick and painless. The office is super clean and all of the equipment seems to be brand new and top of the line. I wish I lived in Albany so this could be my regular dentist... Highly recommended to all those who are in the area. read more

the worse experience I've ever had unprofessional disrespectful and the dentist lady is horrible she's the worse!!!! messed up a root canal I went for they left me waiting over an hour pass my appointment time then brings me to the back numb me had me sitting in the chair for another hour to then tell me I had to reschedule bc she has an emergency... when I spoke to one of her assistant about it. her respond was well this place is only about green money like I wasn't shit like my insurance didn't matter bc it wasn't cash I felt extremely bad and hurt she will walk in the room look at my X-rays and say I'm not ready and walk out and then be laughing as she walk off.... this stared in April of this year and we in June and I'm walking around with a messed up tooth and pain..... feel very discriminated on!!! sad that with so much going on in the world that someone that's suppose to make you feel better and comfortable would make you feel like you ain't shit all bc I have insurance n not cash.... I will never go back or ever recommend anyone to this piece of shit human being EVER!!!!! read more
