We ordered catering and everyone's favorite thing was the chicken tenders. Large and very crispy. Real chicken. The subs were decent - bread was fresh and crusty, nice amount of sauce and flavor, fresh meats and veggies. The shawarma wraps were also really falvorful and good. Salad was fairly average - black olives instead of Greek and iceberg lettuce, but no complaints. I do wish they made their own dressings, especially the ranch - these chicken tendies deserved better ranch! I'd for sure order again, though. I really appreciate that they're halal. read more

Not well made. Not fresh. I HATE giving negative reviews but will do it in two cases, when I feel they are ripping me off and when they are so egregious they need to be pointed out. First, the place is NOT clean. There is simply no excuse for a dirty restaurant. Paint cost next to nothing and cleaning products are available at a reasonable cost as well. It just means that someone doesn't care. We got a 12" Real Steak Sub, a Cheese Burger and an order of fries. The Steak Sub had decent flavor and texture but the bun was, unfortunately stale. The Cheese Burger was a disaster. I try really hard to not make smarmy comments about a restaurants food, however I will point out that the burger tasted like the ones the Lunch Lady served in 8th grade. The meat was not seasoned and had no flavor, the bun like the sub was stale. The Spicy Fries were, well...not. The spices tasted old and bland and the fries were just not good. The staff and management need to work harder. We are going to try the Albasha in Hamtramck. Fingers crossed. read more

I haven't ordered from this place for almost 8 months because they are not professional or trusty worthy when it comes to food. Not professional about timing, pricing or the freshness of the food. Long story short , the guy told me they need 35 mins to deliver and took 1hr and 10 mins. Ordered 3 half's. Website say each half is 8.49 but was charged $41 and they said that was an old rices on the website and they have been saying that since I stop going there which is 8 months ago. I ordered the Al Basha chicken and Steak subs over the phone and they were ready in 20 minutes as they told me. They tasted good. A little messy but it was good. For me, it was just nothing too special since the sub was smothered in Mayo and Garlic sauce. Don't get me wrong, It didn't taste bad but it was not like a 4 or 5 star excellent made sub. With that said, if I was ever super hungry and needed a sub I might order here again and maybe even try something different. They open really late which is good. None of the wraps was marked as having extra sauce so we had to pry each one open -- guess what, not one of them dead extra sauce. We wish they all had extra sauce because they were stingy with their garlic sauce on our pitas! The chicken was tasty, but nothing super special that we would return to the restaurant for in the shawarma. My family has tried many local restaurants to find the best chicken shawarma pita sandwich so I can also tell you that at $4.99 it costs .50 more than all the other restaurants too. I absolutely love their food at the Food road and John Daly location. It's always hot and fresh. They are always friendly too.. One thing that I don't like is that they will type on a filthy cash register(dirt so thick on the keys you can scrape it with your fingernail), use the dirty phone, swipe people's cards, use pens to take the orders, wipe debris off the counter, then roll up sandwiches WITH THOSE SAME GLOVES. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I've ordered from here twice (the second time to try to give it another chance, maybe when I ordered the first time the cook was having a bad day) but nope, both times it's been extremely disappointing. These people can't get an order right for anything. The first time I ordered a barbecue bacon burger they left off the onion rings that were supposed to come with it, and both times the burger patty was so over cooked it was like leather even though I asked for medium, not super well done. You can see in the picture that the burger is literally black. The garlic Parmesan fries were at least consistent... as in consistently bad. They had a sprinkle of cheese that didn't even cover the fries and no other seasoning so I'm not sure where the garlic part of the "garlic Parmesan" fries comes from.
