Good food, always finishes sooner than expected. The quality is good and fresh. Despite being in a gas station, it has never disappointed me. They have a variety of items on their menu. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I ordered on Doordash and had some notes in there, and my notes were ignored. I also ordered extra items that were not in my food so I was a bit disappointed. Regardless, it was less than $3 bucks of stuff that I didn't get so I just shrugged it off. They have decent portions and their prices are usually above $7-$10. read more

Please don't waste your time. There are far more businesses that offer sandwich/shawarmas in the area that are more deserving of your money. This place used to be good when it first opened, like many restaurants in Dearborn it went downhill over time. Everything here is so rushed, sloppy and uninspiring. If you are really hungry or drunk late at night and this is your only option then it might do the trick. Otherwise it's a hard pass! read more

No expectations when I walked in. Never heard of this restaurant before, surprisingly the place was well kept and staff were nice. Bathroom was clean and no worries about there being trash. I ordered 2 burgers, one had an onion ring, a delicious sauce and mozzarella stick cheese. The patty was thick and juicy for both burgers. The second burger was the bbq burger, it had bbq sauce, turkey bacon, and mayo and their secret Al sauce The flavor combinations for each burger were perfect for each. The mozzarella cheese provided a contrast with the sweet sauce. The bbq sauce on the second burger was too sweet to over power the taste of the patty or the other ingredients. Ordered an 8 inch Chicken escalope sub ($4.99) and a mango passion smoothie ($3.99). 1) Smoothie arrived first. I could barely taste the mango and could only taste bananas and milk. I thought I accidentally picked up someone's banana smoothie but turns out thats what the mango passion smoothie is. They didnt have descriptions on the menu so i shouldve asked. It still tasted good though. 2) Chicken escalope sub: Came on a sesame seed bun. They toasted perfectly. The problem was they LOADED this thing with COLESLAW. 90% of this sub was coleslaw. If i had grabbed a bag of Dole's coleslaw from the store and mixed it in a tub of mayonnaise, I wouldve saved myself $4.99. Now even though 90% of the sub was coleslaw, the 10% that was chicken escalope was delicious. Thats what makes it more aggravating. Every bite of the chicken was absolutely delicious and had great flavors so you know there is potential. Problem was, there was only about a bite or two of chicken in the entire sub. My friends ordered the burgers with fries and they enjoyed their food. Maybe I'll give it another shot next time and try not to be unique. read more

Appetizing menu, I was under the impression I was about to eat something great. Our sandwiches were utter garbage and not safe to eat. When you microwave a previously grilled tortilla containing lettuce and mayo, it will be a sad, soggy, disgusting mess. I have a lot of questions. So disappointed. Husband and I love our beef shawarma. Ordered it here before and it was tasty. Bought a pound of it before we went back home to Lansing. Once we opened it at home it was all burnt edges of the shawarma. Called this place immediately and confronted them. They clearly remembered me because he admitted that it was the end of the shawarma and it was in fact overcooked. Didn't even deny it, he completely knew. It was my mistake for not checking it as I had a good experience before. Not only was it disappointing but a slap in the face when I was told a pound of it would be on them next time, when I live an hour and a half away. When I read the last few reviews here I thought these must me some picky people because I've had burgers from here a while back when they opened and it use to be the spot. I wish I listened to the reviews. We got burgers and they were so horrible. The meat tasted so off (a few bites and couldn't even finish) it wasn't fresh beef. Really good! They use the freshest ingredients! I got a crispy chicken burger with curly fries to go and they don't fry the fries till you get there so that you can eat them without them getting soggy and dry. The fries were super crispy! I live far from Dearborn but always loved getting some chicken subs when I was around town. I stopped getting them because the last place I would go to would take like 30min at minimum, which is hard when I'm trying to beat traffic. The last straw was when last couple times I went there I ordered far in advance and they gave my order away to other customers. So I'm lucky I found Al's Grill!! The quality of the food is so fresh and delicious and they won't waste your time. 15min average wait time. I feel like a valued customer and won't be buying subs anywhere else from now on.
