They're not the only ones who have the confidence now in the water, but most especially me! As a parent, one of the worst fears we have is our children drowning. So watching them have the safe swimming skills, without me constantly telling them not to go in the deep, makes my heart and mind at ease. You guys, for the nth time, it's worth every penny!

Our kids had a teacher they really liked at the Eastlake location (Hannah) and she quit on a day's notice, so the kids were without a class. When we showed up at the appointed new day they told us, there was no class for the 3 of them and so we left. Unfortunately I paid 2 months dues for 3 kids and I'm stuck. The YMCA is way better. Seriously, such a fun way to hang out, get moving, and enjoy a little playful chaos with the beach vibes in the background. We love the pool, obstacle course, and amenities (showers, etc). We arrive at opening and always find parking. Here's why I'm giving 3 stars and may not renew my pass for next year. The fun you have is dependent on who is on staff that day. I don't know what happened between this year and last, but this year is not great. Some lifeguards and people at the desk are so rude. On one hand, I'm sympathetic because I know these jobs can be seasonal and you have to train new people, deal with customers, safety, etc, etc. But they create so much confusion and then they're rude when you follow the rule someone else on staff gave you. Then you tell them another person told you to do that and they act like you pulled this info out of your own butt. Last time I was there, I was going back and forth from the pool to the desk because the lifeguard and desk staff couldn't agree on whether my kids needed wristbands. Like I said, if this is just confusion between newer staff, that's fine, I feel for you. But they were both SO rude about it and were getting annoyed with me ‍ This is just the recent example, but it's now probably half our visits that there's some weird triangulation between me and two staff members telling me different things. There are some people who work here that are awesome and friendly. When they do swim tests, they speak clearly to the kids and give instructions/expectations clearly. They're straightforward and friendly when we check in. I think he might be a manager (he wears the pit vipers and has facial hair), he's super friendly although I don't see him that much any more. Sorry I don't know their names, but always relieved when they're there (and coincidentally they all seem to be on the same page with the rules/expectations ).

The pool was an average size that quickly filled up with kids. The quiet and peaceful environment doesn't no exist, so if you're looking to relax in silence during your dip in the hot waters, it's not going to happen. The other amenities are way too crowded to enjoy. The couples massage was supposed 45 min but the ladies taking care of us weren't in the mood, so it was cut short by half. Over all the place was okay but yes it does need to be cleaned. And not worth money.

The place is dirty, smelly, and extremely crowded. What bothered me the most was that the rules were clearly not enforced equally for everyone. I was charged 50 pesos to rent a swimsuit because the staff said my athletic outfit wasn't suitable for the water. Yet, almost immediately, I saw several people wearing the same type of clothing I had on, and they were allowed to enter without any issue. I was also told that sunscreen and snacks were not allowed, but once inside, I saw plenty of people using sunscreen and eating snacks around the pools. If you're going to have rules, they should apply to everyone equally. Unfortunately, the inconsistent enforcement, combined with the poor cleanliness and overcrowding, made for a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this place.
