Pool guards are teenagers eager to exert their newly acquired power, yelling if your 4-four old starts to run a little, or if you bring a learner swim board. Also most of the pool is used for swim laps. The rest is quite crowded. I think this pool is probably more appropriate for people with physical or mental disabilities, as there were quite a few when we went there.

Although my son originally signed up for group lessons, when he was the only one that registered, Amelia did not cancel the sessions or raise the cost for what was not private lessons. Due to the wonderful set-up, I was able to watch the lessons while she taught him water polo skills and ran him through drills. I was quite impressed with how clearly she verbally broke down the skills prior to demonstration and her relaxed methods of correcting/adjusting his form. At the end of the sessions, he had a firm foundation to begin working out with the water polo team. Additionally, I was able to observe the lessons before and after my son's and I could see the same supportive manner in working with those students.
