I confirmed that I do and that it is Davis Vision. The representative responded that they do not accept Davis Vision. I pointed out that Davis Vision is listed on KEC's website as an accepted provider, at which point the representative replied, "Are you a website designer?"--a dismissive and unprofessional remark. While I have a good sense of humor, the interaction ultimately wasted my time and left me questioning the reliability of both the information on KEC's website and the Yelp reviews that led me there.

Very professional and gentle. No wait times and he healed my eye. So happy I went to this office. I went a total of 3 visits, the last one being for a general eye exam. He also mentioned while I was with him that he does emergency surgery at Westchester Medical Center. This guy knows his stuff and you will be in good hands.

My cousin's exam lasted only about four minutes, and mine was similarly brief. Shortly after the visit, we both developed pink eye, which raised serious concerns about the care and hygiene during the appointment. During multiple follow-up visits, the approach felt repetitive and dismissive. Dr. Salzman primarily prescribed antibiotic eye drops at nearly every visit, even after my pink eye had already cleared. There was little explanation provided, and no meaningful discussion of what might be causing the ongoing issues. At one visit, she noticed an eyelash in my eye and again defaulted to prescribing more drops. At my last visit on Tuesday, I still had an issue with my left eye and was once again given antibiotic drops without a thorough evaluation or clear explanation. Overall, the appointments felt rushed and overly focused on prescribing medication, rather than carefully examining the issue or addressing concerns. I did not feel listened to or properly evaluated, and I left feeling frustrated rather than reassured. I expected a much more careful and patient-centered experience, especially for what began as a routine eye exam.

I needed an eye exam for my driver's license renewal. I walked into Ardsley Eye Care and was met with smiling faces and a very kind staff. They were able to fit me in for an exam and I met Dr. Wolfe. Wow! The nicest man possible. He gave me a thorough exam and filled out the necessary DMV form - which was then sent electronically to them. (All that was left for me to do was renew/pay for my actual license from my computer at home. The eye exam portion was already being sent by Ardsley Eye Care for me.) The BEST part of the day was when I got home and told my wife about the pleasant and capable care I received with Dr. Wolfe and his staff. She DOES have all sorts of eye care needs...glasses, contact lenses, and regular visits to monitor for her cataracts and potential glaucoma. She has been looking for a new practice for her exams since the existing one has a couple of doctors who are ready to retire. She will be calling Dr. Wolfe's office shortly it make an appointment. I went to see Dr. Bortz after realizing i had this initially small growth around my eye that had…read moremorphed into something i could soon name as a dependent on next year's taxes. So he looked at me eye and asked me a lot of questions that immediately gave him a complete mental picture of my situation. He followed this with a thorough eye exam. Then he had me return for a biopsy of the "thing". I did return, he did the biopsy. (quick and painless due to his dexterity with a little numbing stuff) I left with a patch over my eye (which is legal in ny). I now am a more courageous person, having driven about 15 miles with one eye..... and i thank him for that. All in all, i think This is the best doctor i have ever been to. Some people become doctors to fix problems. Some become doctors to heal people.

I like that he takes a scientific approach and is happy to discuss options with me, for example my using daily disposable contacts for two days instead of one (he didn't recommend it but we discussed the risks). He's also changed his mind about some issues based on the latest research, which frankly is uncommon with medical professionals. I never felt any pressure or upselling. He does have the latest machines, but I see them as being to my benefit, for example he has a machine where he can detect macular degeneration and get color images of it. My only complaint is that he's older than I am, so at some point he'll retire and I'll have to find a new eye doctor. Went through that with dentists a couple of times already...

She's funny and fun and professional and attentive. It actually took a long time to iron out the wrinkles regarding my prescription. However I'm so happy that Dr Schwartz was just as patient as I was regarding the process. The outcome is that I have the best vision with my new contacts and couldn't be happier. If you have complex eye prescription issues, Dr Schwartz is definitely the perfect person to tackle the issue. I won't be going anywhere else.

I went to Dr. Rubinfeld earlier this year to get a basic exam and talk to him about some general concerns I had based family history, not anything I suffered from myself. After doing the basic exams, I noticed Dr. Rubinfeld conducted other exams I don't normally associate with an annual eye exam, testing spacial awareness, tear production in the eyelid, among others. I had no issue with this and chocked it up to him being thorough. Dr. Rubinfeld felt like it was necessary to start me on an eye treatment to get rid of "eyelash mites" and remoisten my eyes, which he said were exceptionally dry. I asked him if this was necessary seeing as I have no issues at all with my eyes. He said yes because things can get worse. I went into the office about 8 times for warm / cool light and steam treatment, and I observed no difference. I asked the receptionists and the eye assistants how long I would need to do the treatments since I didn't feel like they were necessary for me. They said the treatments were normally 2 MONTHS! Once they told me this, I decided to stop going. Today however, I LOGGED INTO MY INSURANCE AND SAW THERE ARE CLAIMS TOTALING ALMOST $20,000 FROM DR. RUBINFELD'S OFFICE! This was from all of the eye treatments he was giving me. Granted, I don't have to pay for this, but I do believe they tried to suck as much as they could from my insurance in as short of a time as possible. This is absolutely WRONG. And this is the main reason why I have to give them a 1 star rating. Again, I do appreciate the fact that the staff were kind and courteous to me, I don't appreciate being taken advantage of because of my ignorance in optometry.
