Terrible service. Rude and self serving. They do not put patients first. Go anywhere but here.

What I got were frames that didn't fit and lenses that were not blue at all. They said the frames you try on are the ones you get and the lenses are changed out for the ones with the prescription lens and they do have "the best anti-reflective coating." But these don't fit. The ones I tried on first fit and were comfortable. Well maybe they tightened them up when they put the lenses in. To be fair they offered to replace them with another pair. At that point steam must have been coming out of my ears. I felt like a clown with kids glasses on they gave me a headache. She actually said if you hold them up just right you can see some blue. They look great on you. Again I wasn't buying it. They did refund me. It still didn't feel right. After this ordeal I went up to LensCrafters and did the exam again. I was so glad I did. They have up to date machines, it was completely different, like night and day. Three additional high tech machines aided in there diagnoses. When I compare prescriptions there completely different. Not even close, is that malpractice or incompetence. High tech vs old antiquated. Karen at Homer Rich refused to return my older frames until I met with the doctor to sign papers for them to terminate the customer patient relationship. That's fine like Karen said to me with all the things going on in the world I shouldn't get upset over this. But it did. It upset me a lot, so I went somewhere else and they were great. Thank you Karen for your 20 years service sorry it had to end this way.

Her office staff leave a lithe to be desired. They used to be much better, but they seem to have lost their grounding. The office recently closed for inclement weather and the office staff failed to call patients to tell them they were closing -- leaving them to discover the closure oh their own. They of course have the best of intentions, but need to step up their game to meet that of the good doctor they work for! I especially recommend this office to anyone is having a vision issues that perhaps might need they provided to actually discover the correct prescription for glasses or contacts for them, something places like LensCrafters usually.botch. They accepted a number of insurance plans including VSP, but as of yet not DavisVision. As well as accepting and billing most major medical plans for the portions of your visit they might cover. The office does accept credit cards.

I also like to get the works on my glasses, progressive light changing glare, etc. with having to purchase a few pairs of glasses a year. I did not feel like spending $1000 on a set of frames that includes the prescription. Anne worked with me she was able to find the exact pair of glasses I was looking for that was covered by my insurance company. So all I had to worry about was the additional cost for my prescription. She was able to fit me well she was professional and sweet - easy to work with. I would recommend her particularly when looking for a pair of glasses.

The onsite optometrist diagnosed him with cataracts and suggested surgery. Even knowing his eyes would change after the surgery, the doctor talked my elderly parents into purchasing a pair of nearly $400 glasses for my father; that would be worthless in the near future due to corrective surgery. My parents, at the time weren't connecting the dots, and made the purchase. A month or more later, my dad spoke with Raymond realizing he would need the prescription to be changed and asked why they gave his glasses knowing this would be the case after surgery. Their response was, "we didn't pressure you to purchase the glasses." However, they agreed to change the prescription for free after the surgery was completed. My dad died two days ago before he was able to have the cataract surgery. As I am trying to get my dad's paperwork and loose ends tied up for my mom, I called Raymond asking about a refund. Their response, again, was, "we never pressured your father to purchase the glasses and no we will not be giving you any type of refund." I wished her a beautiful day.

I had initially made an appointment in Yorktown, and when I called Baldwin Place, they told me not to worry that they would take care of the first appointment for me! I thought THAT was excellent customer service and thanked them! When I came into the store, the young woman who greeted me was so friendly (Caitlyn)! I told her what I was looking for in the way of frames and what my favorite color was, and she told me she'd pull some frames for me while I had my eye exam. She was a HUGE help! Usually, it takes me so long to find a frame that I like, and when I came out of the eye exam, she had about 20 frames for me to try out! I loved that and was able to narrow it down to my top 3 choices, and with her help, I found the one pair that I loved! I picked up my glasses a couple of weeks later and had a minor issue with the reading level on my progressives, so I've been back a couple of times, and they've been so helpful and so friendly. It's a bit of a drive for me to go there, but so worth it! Not only are they the only ones who understand my husband's insurance plan, but they make everything so easy and have such a great staff!
