When we call to get status or find out what is going on 1 of three things happen 1) We get hung up on and told we are being disrespectful/rude for questioning what is going on 2) we are told they will call us back and never do (we always have to call back days/weeks later) 3) They do not answer and do not respond to the messages. We have asked for them to just replace the unit, they won't. Now there are parts ordered, 1 part arrived to my mom's house. When I called to tell them, I was hung up on and told I was disrespectful for telling him I was baffled they did not have my mom's info. Allegedly, someone is coming out today to install the 1 part that has shown up, but no word on the 2nd part and when it will arrive so it still will not work. So here we are, 5 months and $1200 later, still no working water softener. Save your time, money and energy and go to a company who values your time, provides quality service and treats their customers better.

I was able to keep the pump operational until they showed up. They immediately knew what was wrong and fixed it. Then he used a zip strip to prevent any reoccurrence. Called them because I received a mailer, they were local and they had installed the existing unit…read morefor previous owners. Wanted to repair my A/C if possible and practical. Kirkwood's guy arrived on time, was polite and courteous, used footies when inside. He proceeded to inspect the unit from a distance and reported to me where the leak was and how it was rusted out and recommended a complete new unit. When asked about repair, He said he could inject with a StopLeak type product and then fill with 8 lbs. new Freon, would cost $1200.00 +\- and no guarantee. Complete new Unit $7000.00 +/-. Next day called Brockman Heating & Air and they inspected the unit by getting inside of the outside compressor, they found 2 pinholes where the tubes had rubbed together, they removed my existing 3 lbs. of freon, brazed the pinholes, pressure checked the system to be sure they got all the leaks and refilled using my 3 lbs. and added 5 new lbs. of freon. Everything is like new again for a Grand Total of $494.00. So everything that Kirkwood reported was dead wrong, they only wanted to sell a new unit. They did make sure to call the next day for there service call money. 2 days later I opened up inside unit to clean the A-Coils and found large pipe cutters from original installation by Kirkwood. Guess they have never cared.
