Great stop for weekday lunch. It's a comfy place, casual inside. Counter order, server brings to table. Was quick, We had menudo, which was a treat, since restaurants don't always serve it except on the weekend. It was in a huge bowl and was delicious. It's a basic low end taqueria style restaurant. It's open relatively late for the area. I went twice and had a beef and bean burrito and a Buffalo burrito. The latter was worth trying again, although would be better with some beans. read more

Wow, this place was surprisingly very good! PROS: + Ordered the carne asada burrito, and it was very hefty. The meat was tender and flavorful. The guac and pico made the burrito even better. + Their red & green sauce were both really good. + The taquitos were also very good. It was kind of small, but it still had good flavor. + They have plenty of options, which can get overwhelming. + Employee was friendly. TIP: It takes some time to receive your food here, especially during busy hours. Maybe you can call in your order ahead of time? Also, the inside of the restaurant was very warm. I tried the carnitas mini tacos with a side of rice and beans. The tacos were delicious. The rice and beans were good as well. The fountain drinks were flat but the taste was good. Service was good in that our plates were delivered to our table. The decor is typical of a mom and pop Mexican family restaurant. Overall a nice experience and great food. Not good. Beans were so runny my taco salad looked like a bowl with soup in it. Just gross. My kids didn't eat much, their tostada and taco looked weird and again the beans were soupy. My husband had a carnesada burrito and he said it was greasy and gross. Do not recommend. read more

This is a Very Good Mexican restaurant. I am Mexican, from California, so I would know.. who knows where the angry review came from. The salsa bar is fresh and clean. There is quite a variety of salsas as well. A few are super spicy, so beware. Everything is made from scratch. The potatoes, in some of the burritos are fresh not frozen. The beans and rice are tasty and moist which is really the deal breaker with Mexican food. If you can make great rice and beans usually the rest is great too. The restaurant itself is clean. There is a soda bar and typical Mexican fruit juice drinks as well. Carne Asada and the guacamole was great. Breakfast burritos are great too. There are many ways to make guacamole and one of my favorites is avocado garlic salt and lime. Adding tomatoes and other vegetables to avocado just makes it go dark quicker. The men who run this place seem sweet and gracious. I would recommend this place as a great Mexican diner type location. No margaritas or Coronas yet but it's good food and super inexpensive. I got takeout while travelling through town. Delicious chile rellenos dinner. The refried beans were very flavorful, not dry and bland as at so many places. The flour tortillas were homemade and good enough to eat alone. The server who also took my order was sanitizing and wearing gloves. There is no outdoor seating. Buffalo Wyoming is hiding a gem. I'm so used to Mexican restaurants over salting everything rather than using the spices that make the cuisine.
