Don't waste your money here. We stood at the hostess stand for an uncomfortably long time before anyone even acknowledged us, only to be told there were no clean tables--even though we could clearly see multiple open, clean tables. The hostess was rude, the bartender looked at us and disappeared, and no one seemed to care when we left. With Liberatore's and Lombardi's right down the street, I'd recommend spending your money somewhere that actually values its customers. We won't be back. read more

Check in as I already reviewed... on Friday nights they apparently have 1/2 price entrees (eat in) and 1/2 price takeout pizza. We had a party of 5 (1kid) had entrees, salads , drinks , a loaf of garlic bread, and 2 pizzas to go for $125 plus tip. Everything was good... my only criticism was that they were understaffed. Thus 4 stars instead of 5. They could've had another server and a hostess. read more

We didn't wait very long Sunday night for dinner. Service was pleasant and we ordered various items: pepperoni/sausage pizza, artichoke chicken linguini w capers, beef bolognese, and kids spaghetti. Everyone enjoyed their meals, generously sized, and with garlic bread on the side of the pasta dishes. I highly recommend to try the chicken artichoke w capers - the sauce was just right and not too lemony. The leftovers were great the next day too. Many options peppered throughout OC, Albertino's remain to be a classic and go-to for many families. Arriving at opening and over the course of time during our meal, the amount customers increased. It was telling seeing patrons greeting servers on a first name basis and with open arms. Bright space where time stands still... that's Albertino's in OC. For our visit we tried the calamari and mozzarella appetizers, and for the mains, The Albertino and veggie bianco pies. A true wood fired brick oven crust is charred and toasty, nothing gummy or limpy. The pies were generous in toppings and size, so delicious. Plenty to take home! Ms. Randy was our server and she was as sweet as can be! Attentive from start to finish, she made sure our table was cared for as everything came out to our liking. Came into town with our friends for the holiday weekend. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon and wasn't that crowded. The service was friendly and fast. We sat down and ordered a pizza and calamari for appetizers and couple of pasta dishes. The portions were large but the prices weren't cheap so there is that. The pizza was good. Not the best, but I enjoyed it. The calamari was overcooked though. As for the pasta dishes, we had the seafood fra diavolo and the pasta in vodka sauce. I enjoyed the vodka sauce much better as the diavolo seemed a bit watered down. Both dishes were good but a little tweak here and there would have made a big difference. Anyway, we enjoyed our dinner there and by the time we left, the place was packed so we came at the right time. read more

We felt like brick oven pizza, so we tried Albertino's. Pizzas took 30 minutes, but they must've gotten done sooner because they were quite cold by the time we got home. One was a Margarita: some bites had only sauce, and some had only cheese which was puzzling. Fresh basil was nice. Second pie was the Albertino: it was light on toppings, but it was an interesting mix. I liked the cornmeal on the crust. Side note: don't pay attention to the hours of operation announced on their phone nor on the banner outside. Both state they close at 4, but I ordered at 6 on a Sunday evening. Maybe those are off-season hours, but it might deter customers. Overall, pizzas were pretty good. Slices were soft and a bit floppy for our tastes. Again, I liked the cornmeal-coated crust, however, I honestly can't say they tasted like they came from a brick-oven. We probably won't return since we can get delicious pizza cooked in a traditional oven closer to home. read more

Stopped by here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We were seated right away and had the most amazing staff help us. We got the margaritas pizza and a sangria and loved it! The pizza is fresh, and delicious. Would definitely recommend it. read more

We have dined at this restaurant many times over the years. Just recently on 7/25/26 I ordered their crab lump ravioli. I kept thinking that every time I cut into one of the ravioli's I would find some crab. No such luck. Not sure what was in it. At the end of the meal I questioned the waitress and she said the lump crab was on top of the dish. I said there was none. No compensation was given. My dinner companion ordered a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and received grilled chicken. This will definitely be our last time patronizing this restaurant. There are plenty of good Italian restaurants in Ocean City Md. This just isn't one of them. read more

First time back at albertino's in a long time. They seem to have finally emerged from their pandemic-era slump. The pizza was terrific with a nice chewy crust and good flavorful toppings, served piping hot. Service was good too. Only nitpick was our pizza wasn't sliced all the way through, and because of the chewy crust it was pretty tricky to separate the slices with my butter knife. They surely have a sharp pizza slicer back in the kitchen, wish they had put a little more muscle into it. Also the little stand it's served with is useless, and we almost lost the whole thing when it nearly tipped over as we tried to cut our slices. Just cut the pizza all the way through and put it on the table so we can eat it, because it's really good pizza. read more

There was a male employee standing next to them engaged in a conversation with someone at the bar. At no time did any of them acknowledge that we were there. It was bizarre and rude. I was hoping to have a good brick oven pizza this evening and was highly disappointed. I ordered the margarita pizza with roasted garlic. Now the rest of family like their dishes and pizza but for me the sauce tasted like Prego and was so thick the fresh mozzarella kept sliding off. The crust was good and so was the cheese but that sauce. I might try again and order a different pizza or try their pasta. read more

Service itself was slow - it took forever to get the bill and our boxes. As you can see from photos, food is fairly plain, but very pricy. The Mac and Cheese was just ok- the sauce was pretty thin and watery, no a creamy delicious sauce that I was expecting for the price. The pizza's themselves were nothing to write home about either. Sadly my last review still stands without improvement and a smidge less appealing. We didn't think it could get any worse but it did and I was SO hoping last time was a bad night for the chef. I'm so sad as you were our go-to for take out, but I will resume a search for best take out pizza. The sausage on the pepperoni/sausage pizza isn't even visually appealing this time and has a funny texture and not edible, so we ended up with just a pepperoni pizza when all is picked off, said & done. Tri Fromage al Polo, my favorite for 2nd time in a row, is under par and leaves no less than an inch of dry crust that is not useable, not even with butter. read more

What more can I say, Albertino's checks every box on my list Atmosphere Service Food The atmosphere is very nice as you first come inside, they've got fairy lights hanging wrapped around the rafters in the ceiling adding a nice subtle ambiance to the whole location. They've got a bar separate from the main dining area. Nice simple decorations and a great color scheme, good for a first date, out for drinks with some friends, or for a family. The price is on the higher end, not terribly pricy but absolutely worth your money, If you were to spend it anywhere, this is your place. The waitresses, especially ours were all FANTASTIC, very personable, kind, helpful, checked in often, etc. (if it helps management, we visited night of the 27th) they were all great waitresses. And the food was fantastic, I had the wings, small portion but very filling, they were breaded and full of flavor without being too saucy or soggy, they were crunchy and beautifully plated, 10/10 recommend. Arrived before 5pm. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Very pleasant wait staff with lots of energy. Ordered the iced tea, ginger ale, and plain milk for drinks. Free refills if you need it, but they're served in Very large glasses! We ordered the Al Formaggio pizza, the Albertino pizza, and the Bianca Con Salcissia pizza with Pepperoni instead of sausage. Seriously mouth watering! Absolutely loved it! We noticed on our way out the place was packed and there was a waiting line to be seated. Well worth it! Next time we're in OC we'll be back! read more

We came here because it was across the street from our Airbnb. We weren't expecting much because it was next door to a place called the Crab Bag. We were delightfully mistaken. The crab balls and the clams casino were the best things we ordered. The caprese salad was good but the mozzarella was too thinly sliced for the thick slices of beefsteak tomato. The shrimp and sausage pasta was yum. The sauce was rich and creamy but the pasta noodles were a little too clumpy. Overall, would recommend! read more

We went in on a Saturday night and it was busy, got the last table. Our waitress Kelly was friendly and fast. Our pizza was even faster! We got the large Mushroom Rave and added sausage! It was delicious times a thousand! We weren't rushed at all. And got dessert! A yummy mascarpone and berry cake that was light and wonderful. I'm sad that they aren't nearer to my home. We brought a party of six here after hearing a good review from a friend. After our meal, I'm not sure I understand the hype. I will start by saying the Caesar salad was quite good with actual quality cheese and a tangy sauce. When it came to entrees, half the table ordered pasta which came out in a reasonable time and was fairly good. About 20 minutes later (when half our party was finished eating) the rest of the table's pizza was brought out, and for all this delay it wasn't even hot. The margherita pizza also had an overly sweet sauce with an odd sauce to cheese ratio. It was pretty disappointing. Plus, we didn't once get a refill on water. Nothing was overtly bad besides the disjointed food delivery time, but there are enough great places to eat in OC I couldn't see myself giving Albertino's another try. read more

I am a local and I hate the places that put low quality food and charge a premium because we are a resort town! THIS IS NOT THAT KIND OF PLACE!!!! We have been regulars for the past few years. We recommend it to visitors and take friends. Albertino's is consistently good. The meatballs and pasta are top quality!!! Quite frankly, never had a bad meal! Recently, we found the all you can eat lunch special. It is so good. There is a menu of options including soup, salads, pasta, and pizza. Everything is made to order and brought to you for 12.95!!! DEAL! Colleen, our server, was attentive to our needs! She waits on us often and is an asset to the restaurant. I would recommend the French onion soups and Caesar salad to start. I hope the lunch special continues, but even if it doesn't....this place is excellent for any meal! Can't wait to get back soon... read more

We decided to check this place out for dinner at the beach the other day. The layout is a little strange; you walk in directly facing the bar, but there is no indication that you have to walk down to the corner to find a cash register and host seating. It's pretty awkward as you stand there at the bar among high top tables with the folks staring at you while you look around, trying to figure out where to go. Some directionals would be helpful! We made our way through the crowd standing there waiting for carryout. They were completely blocking the host stand bc there is no where else to go. All of the tables were taken except for three bar high tops, so we elected to have one of those. I decided on the pasta Bolognese with penne for my dinner, and I added a house salad for $1. Great deal. That house salad with the Italian dressing was terrific and I think my favorite part of the meal. Fresh crisp greens and veggies, and a tart tangy dressing, yum! My pasta was a huge portion, and there were chunks of broken up meatballs in the sauce. Those meatballs were really good, but there was a flavor in the sauce, something bitter, that I did not like. I liked the buttery toasted bread that came with my dish as well. My mom got a cheese pizza, which was loaded with melted gooey cheese but hardly any sauce. We prefer pizza saucier with less cheese but it had a good flavor. We tried the lemon berry mascarpone cake for dessert. It was bright and fresh but a bit on the dry side. We left some on the plate. I would go back for a salad and maybe try the spaghetti and meatballs or a pizza with extra sauce. And definitely to try the tiramisu! read more
