Pizza had a perfect sauce to cheese to toppings ratio and crispy crust out of the oven! I got a meat lovers slice and a slice of pepperoni. You can't go wrong with either. Pepperoni they use is the large deli sliced kind and they practically cover the whole slice. My only regret is eating too fast to take a picture for you guys. Very thankful for Yelp assisting me in finding Paul and Vinny's. It's a cozy pizza spot at a small plaza. We went there maybe an hour before closing but they were happy to seat and feed us. I get the vibes this is more of a takeout spot, weren't too many tables inside which is a shame because the food here is terrific. My wife and I started with some garlic knots. Knots were small shaped, good amount of garlic on them and we really enjoyed the marinara to dip with. I would more call them garlic bites because of their size, they need to downsize the amount of oil they put in there, but it was tasty nonetheless. We also got a large pizza which we enjoyed the most. We got half cheese, half pepperoni. Great crisp on the pie, tangy sauce and reminded me of Vinny's pizza that is close to my home in Bridgeport. Anyhow, I'd like to think this is one of the better pizza spots in Berlin, hope to see them keep it going, will return one day. read more

Great hoagies and real pizza by the slice or a whole pie! Their lunch special hit the spot with 2 slices and a drink. For dinner try one of their hoagies. Pizza is wonderful, but that's where it stops. Not only have they raised their prices again, the quality since new ownership has gone down. No lunch specials. Nothing for locals. Cheesesteaks are soggy and overpriced- they now charge $1 for majority of the toppings. Even their fries are ridiculously expensive. $5 for a regular/$8 for a large? You can buy 3 bags at the grocery store for this amount, so we know how cheap they are to buy in bulk. Very sad it's turned this way and won't be back. read more

14 AUG 2024 The Italian sub that I got here on my second day in town was almost certainly the best sandwich I have had in 40 years! The fresh bread was excellent, just firm and crusty enough to contain the ample fillings. The meat was excellent, quite packed they did not skimp on a single item. It was well balanced though, sometimes there can be a bit much of one of the meats and it overpowers the bite. The first bite was really dripping all over (you must be sitting somewhere with napkins) and I thought that maybe there was too much "juice" but, Oh I of little faith, these artists know what they're doing, it was the exact right amount to get through this man filling sandwich. I got fries and as decent as they were that's a rookie mistake I would never make again they just get in the way of this incredible sandwich. It's a little too far away to come back for one, but if we lived anywhere east of the bridge I would be back for sure. 16 AUG 2024 (still in town for a conference) Came back to try something else, since it was a little later in the day, although I wanted another Italian, I chose discretion. If the Italian sub is the original delicious sin, and introduction to Paul & Vinny, the Turkey sub I got on this visit is the Redemption. It is still a serious man filling sub, don't take this thing lightly. However, it is a perfectly balanced, healthy mouth feel, tasty, clean sandwich. Same excellent bread, just enough fresh lettuce, tomato and a bit of mayo that is just right. I wanted to come back and take an Italian back to Fort Meade with me but needed to hit the road before they will open. I may need to figure out a "reason" to come back over here. This little place, this wonderful family of people who care about what they serving are the small business backbone of America, support them. Very good pizza. I had just plain cheese slice because that's all they had cooked. When I use to stop in they had several to choose from. They did offer to add toppings but I'm not a fan of them added after original baking. Anyway courteous service and definitely a solid pizza. Allison thanks so much for response. We wanted good pizza while on vacation down here and our first stop was sorta a bust....however we found this little gem thanks to reading other reviews.
