Hiyi!! Yep. Still posting. Howdy! So I moved to Hurst in 1995 from FTW, but this is still my favorite Albertsons location. Yep. 32 years strong. My pic is my sons plate from dinner I cooked. Panko crusted oven baked centercut pork chop. They were on sale $4.89 a pound, but buy one pack, get 1 free. Turned out to be less than a buch a chop. And no, I didn't use shake n bake. Turned out so tender. Loaded mac n cheese, also baked. Cheated on the green beans. Glory brand seasoned green beans. Rounded it out with Texas Toast parmesan garlic bread. All ingredients from my trip to Albertson's today. You should have been here. I swear everything turned out oh so good. I don't get the low ratings of this store. They keep it clean, well stocked, even have a Starbucks that makes thick Mocha Frappuccino's. 32 years, and they continue to improve. No, it isn't HEB, or WholeFoods, but they aren't as pricey either. You can always find deals in the meat department. They could improve their produce for sure. Other than that, neat store. They even have human cashiers. Yes, people, for those of us not looking to be used as unpaid employees. Take care of yourselves. read more

I purchased a store-made Greek salad in the deli section. The tomatoes and other vegetables in the salad were still frozen. The salads were kept in a place or keep them cool but the vegetables in the salad should not be frozen since these are ready-to-eat meals. They need to make sure the salads on display are not frozen read more

I subscribe to the free delivery (for $99/year). Increasingly, they don't have drivers and farm it out to DoorDash. This time I had a scheduled delivery set between 3 and 4 p.m. Weather is great, no big activities that would cause delays but they didn't deliver until after 5:40. And I saw the guy get out with two bags. No way that is right. I got some potatoes and dish soap. I didn't get any meat or vegetables, or bread, or anything else on the order. Support is refunding my full purchase but it will take 5-7 days for the money to be in my account. It's a week until payday and I'm broke- I can't buy more food without that refund. I rarely shop Albertsons because the prices are way too high. But I went in yesterday because it was convenient and I just wanted one thing but I decided to try a few things. They had watermelon on sale for $4. It was yummy. I went over to deli and got half a pound of macaroni salad. So their macaroni salad is really good. In general their prices are just too high though and it adds up. But in addition to that this is what my complaint is with this store. I have noticed for years that there is an odor. When I first walked in the store there was a refrigerator case with berries in it but it smells like onion. Gross I had to move on. I noticed a couple of odd smells in the bakery and fresh food section. It's a huge turn off. I do have to say that my cashier was very nice and I really liked her. This store is clean and has a layout that is easy to understand. I only frequent this store when I need something quick to grab on my way to a party. They have a walk in cooler where they store a good variety of beer. They also have a big section of wine and local beer. The staff is friendly but they don't have enough cashiers open at times and checkout tends to take longer than it should even if you are just buying less than 10 items. read more

In the Woodhaven area, options are limited. You have an inconveniently located Wal-Mart down on Eastchase, a few Cash N' Carry gas stations, quite a few Dollar Stores... But full grocery?... Albertson's is your best bet. Everytime I walk in, usually in the early morning hours to buy flowers or coffee for my office, I feel the vibe that radiates the best of Eastside Fort Worth. A friendliness that embodies the status of the area. The area where I spend my days laboring. This store is an Albertsons indeed, though it capitalizes on Albertsons strength of having specialized items. $20 for 80 K-Cups? Got it. 4 tables of assorted clearances? Got it. I avoid this store at all costs literally. Many things are double the price of what you would get at another grocery store or Walmart. Since it is the only grocery store in the area I'm not left with many options when I need just a few things. Although they have self checkout now, lines seem to be not as long but still not worth their high prices. Today I decided to get Starbucks after my shopping trip. It was 8:45 in the morning so the store was empty. Me and another man walked up to the Starbucks counter at the same time and the "barista" did not acknowledge us. She instead continued making a drink and moving things around for 5 minutes before taking the mans order. After she goes to the back for another 5 minutes and finally comes back to take his order. The store was empty and no one else was behind me and since I had been waiting for 10 minutes I politely asked her if she could take my order as well. I explained that it was a hot item and while my food heated up she could make the drinks for efficient purposes and especially since I had been waiting for so long. She proceeded to say in a condescending tone that she'll take my order when she gets finished. At the rate she was going I figured I was going to have to wait another 10 minute to get food making it 20 minutes in total so I left based off of her attitude and lack of efficiency. I will not be back to this Starbucks and would prefer to drive 5 minutes out of the way it would be faster. read more

7/30/23-I just left Albertsons about 10 minutes ago. I went there to use a loyalty points app that I've used before. The last time I was there, I also used the app. And when I left the store without making a purchase, the light went off as I exited the store. I was told by the security guard on duty (an officer in uniform) that the light goes off if people leave and don't make a purchase. I guess it must go off a lot, because people regularly go into grocery stores where they might change their mind about making a purchase for various reasons. But I digress... This light and siren went off again as I exited the store, without buying anything but scanning a few items. And the security guard working there this time (not apparently an officer) didn't initially say anything as I prepared to leave again. He eventually made his way over and asked me if everything was okay in a non-menacing tone. I replied with "yes," or something, and proceeded to gather my bags and exit. But before I did, I asked if the light went off because of me (just for clarity). I was trying to get an answer about whether somebody pressed a button for the light to go off or if the store uses some sort of technology that actually tracks people who don't make a purchase. Because, like I said...it must be more than a few people throughout the day who go to the store and leave without making a purchase. After I asked him that a couple of times to nonsensical replies, he finally said that he's not at liberty to tell me that information. And I was like "welp...okay" before leaving.  Therefore, I'm putting this review up to recount about another experience that doesn't reflect the more positive experiences I've had at this store before lately. I'm still the same person; I still look the same (scruffy and sunburnt); I still carry myself the same way (cordial and pleasant enough), but something in the matrix, if you will, is changing to create these kind of experiences. In the past I've been here several times before where I've used the restroom or browsed without actually paying for anything in the end. That is, whether I've haven't or *have*had money but didn't purchase anything. That light has never gone off until the last couple of times of me being there. So, I don't know what to make of it. If somebody is manually pressing the button, I give that the side eye. Because, if they're watching me on camera to press that button, then they should see that I didn't take anything and don't take anything without paying for it. That's all. The Mesa store I shopped while visiting my family in Phoenix AZ was impeccable. I wish the Fort Worth store could come up to their standards. I gave 3 stars to the Albertsons in Fort Worth in Texas where I bought a house in a community I should have scouted out before purchasing my home. This Albertsons is off the 820N and the outside is always littered with trash and vagrants. I refuse to shop there when it's getting dark because it appears not to be safe. Where is the security? The inside is clean, just don't shop around 4 or 5 pm when lines are long and just two cashiers. I can say the fish could stand some improvement as well. Custermer service is 5 stars! read more

Albertsons is a fine grocery store to buy all your food needs. Been an Albertsons shopper for many years and this store is a fine store. Clean and has a lot of items to buy. From the fruits and vegetable area which is large with nice fresh looking food to the bakery which has very good bread. I mostly just come here when they have an item on sale. Or if I need a quick stop to grad something. The checkout lines are not too long and they seem to have plenty of help. Service is ok not the best. read more

After the pharmacy lied about not having a refill order from my doctor twice and going back and forth between them and my doctor for over 1 1/2 hours and my doctor resending a second refill order, my experience with the pharmacist went sideways in a hurry. The pharmacist hung up on me not once but twice. The store manager was not available but someone offered to take a message and I shared my experience with him. When finished, he said thank you for letting us know but not once asked for my name or a way to reach me. The store employees are great; the pharmacists and store management, not at all! All of my prescriptions have now been moved. read more

Over the past couple of years I've noticed bad attitudes but since it wasn't directed at me, I chose to ignore the behavior. Not 20 minutes ago I was in line for about 20 mins and asked if we could please add a cashier. There was only one and a good dozen or better of us had been in line for sometime . I was told that no one was availabLe and I would have to wait. Given as she was chitchatting with another employee, I asked if I could please speak to the manager. She ignored me and continued chatting. This type of disrespect is totally unacceptable. I left my cart and was headed out the store when this same person asked if I was coming back. I politely told her I wouldn't be and won't be. With Kroger, Walmart and Tom Thumb in the neighborhood, why would I? read more

I've shopped at Albertsons occasionally for over a year, now. Being the ONLY grocery store nearby, it takes a great deal of planning to avoid it. Why would I want to avoid it? First off, it's pretty expensive, compared to other stores. Secondly, I've learned the importance of keeping a very low profile while shopping there. For some reason, shoppers there have been known to lose their sh*t over the smallest of provocations ... throwing temper tantrums and making credible threats of bodily harm both in the store and out in the parking lot. Thirdly, (the reason I'm writing today) stems from a recent visit. I went in for a couple of items and while there thought of several additional things I could use. I ended up shopping a little more than usual and bought a chuck roast that had been marked down to a reasonable price. All told, I had roughly 12 items in my cart. Checking out, I punched in my info for the "discounts" on the keypad as the checker rang things up and another person bagged my selections. I then paid by card, and placed all the plastic bags back in the cart to take to the car. When I got home, I was putting everything away and realized that the roast was missing. I checked my receipt and confirmed that I had indeed been charged for the roast, but it was nowhere to be found. Having relived my shopping experience over and over in my mind, I can only conclude that there is a wormhole located somewhere near that 3 foot space between the scanner and the bagging area and that wormhole had swallowed up my roast. This is by far the worst Albertsons that I've ever been to. The prices are too high, and the quality and selection is poor, unless you like garbage food. The staff is rude and unhelpful. If you ask for assistance they act like you've insulted them. The store itself is dated, dingy, and dirty. When I am forced to come here there are always long lines to check out as they never have enough registers open. Avoid at all costs. I'm sure it's only in business because it's the only grocery store in this food desert. read more

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this store's drive up and go service. Placed a $150 order today @330p for pickup at 7p... got an email confirmation suggesting not to leave til we receive a text saying order is ready. 745p I call the store, and find out they didn't receive order. Then, called customer service and speak to Frank who offers no help, but suggests Walmart or Amazon bc ... "they do delivery." No compensation. I shop this store at least once a week... but no more. This is "My Albertson's" and I am very proud of my store. Ever since the remodeling the store is uber clean. During the store's remodeling it was a bit frustrating since they kept moving everything around. Now that the remodeling was completed months ago, the store layout is fantastic. Quick and convenient to our neighborhood, Albertsons is a regular stop for us. With Easy drop off and pick up for any needed meds at the pharmacy (really love the pharmacists here) we can do our grocery stop and shop as needed, often a quick in and out for needed last minute items, particularly for my husband since he passes every day, on the way home. The cashiers know us quite well and always have a cheerful word of greeting -and produce is usually quite fresh. read more

I placed and order for delivery at about 1:30pm for same delivery and chose the option for 1-2 hours delivery and when i reached out to their "support line" it was an automated message that answered my questions. The bot said I couldn't cancel my order since it would arrive at 7-8pm that same day I don't understand why it takes so long to process my order or to even get to me when I live down the street this is the first and last time im ordering from their app or their store i usually go to the store on my own but I couldn't since i am sick. The people are great, but the lines are HORRENDOUS! Even when they aren't busy the lines are long, but on weekends it is insane. Last 3 times I've been in the EXPRESS check out had 12 people in line and today, with only 2 regular registers open AGAIN, more than 8 carts in each line, everyone of course with packed carts. I just want to say I always use Albertson Bakery for my cakes and cupcakes for All Occasions. This time though I was very disappointed I asked for a Pacific thing done to a jumbo cupcake I showed the lady of picture I was assured that the person that was decorating what's a five-star decorator when I went to pick up my order it did not look nothing like the picture that I had showed them in the instructions that were given had not said to put certain things on the Cupcake when I asked to speak to The Decorator the two young females that were working the bakery says she was gone for the day and was not going to be there of course I could not do anything about this my daughter's baby shower was the next day. Let's just say this is honestly not a five-star decoration it was a 1 star decoration I actually had to go home take all the frosting off the cupcake and decorate it myself so it would be ready for the baby shower read more

Probably the one of the worst grocery store I've ever been to. Probably able to stay open only because they keep their staffing costs so low by severely understaffing the store at the checkout lines. I go here only because of the convenience since there are no other grocery stores within 5 miles. The products are descent and mostly good quality, but the store is severely mismanaged. I went there tonight and there were two registers open, one line with her light off (assumed she was getting off) so everyone was in the other line. I got in the back of the line only to see several people shortly thereafter behind me jump in the lady's line with her light off and her take care of them. There were 20 people wanting to check out, no express line, and only 2 lines. I wish they'd get new Management or get bought by a good chain like HEB or Kroger! read more

I grew up (supposedly) in east Fort Worth and my mom still lives in our ancestral home, so whenever I come visit I usually pop in Albertson's for a thing or two, and I must say that they keep it very clean and it has a decent selection of the usual supermarket goodies. The employees are always super friendly, too, and I've never had an issue at the check-out line like J.L. did. My mom gets her prescriptions filled here, and the pharmacist is always nice to her. She ain't no spring chicken so I do worry about her going to the store by herself sometimes, but she loves going there, chatting up the employees and seeing long-time eastsiders there. It's pretty much the only decent store left in that neck of the hood, so I hope they keep up the good work. read more
