Since I was already in Lovington, NM, I thought I'd see if the new Albertsons Market which opened recently still had a hustle and bustle vibe that my friend mentioned. The place was so crowded at around noon (March 9, 2026)! Lol. I could have figured. Two things I would change... - one of the entry points driving in could be improved by some line repainting as some drivers do not have common sense - not a single employee said hi to me today, yet, I walked by plenty of them! Otherwise, this brand new, clean grocery store is a great addition to this small, growing community. It is way nicer and seemingly larger than the one in Hobbs (to the south). There are many deals if you look for them - but you need to enroll for the rewards program using your phone number so that the discounts are taken off when you check out. Self-checkout was available. My doctor sent a prescription to Albertson's pharmacy on Thursday, I spoke with a pharmacist on Friday and was told my prescription was ready. Made the 35 mile drive over there on Monday, and was told my medication was out of stock, it would be ready on Tuesday. On Wednesday, I called and was told their supplier does not have my medication, and they could not get it. I placed a grocery order for pickup, one of the items I ordered was 4 purple sweet potatoes for $1.50 each, and I specified NO SUBSTITUTIONS! They added 4 orange sweet potatoes to my order, they charged me $3.59 each for, more than double the price of the same product at competing stores. We were excited to see Albertson's come to Lovington, but at this point, will never shop there again! read more

This is beautiful new store. It seems to be fully stocked at all times. The employees have been so helpful and friendly. I am so happy to have this store in Lovington!! read more
