From the low reviews I can tell corporate or the store manager cares. Shopping at 5:11 pm dinner rush and they only have one check out lane open! Talked to a tall black guy who said he is the head cashier and I told him only one line open with 16 people in line, he look as me and said your lying let's go check! I'm sorry now I'm 14th in line. Pharmacy is always under staffed, slow when they do have people working and closes earlier than any other Pharmacy I know. My family has tried to leave this place before but for some reason they won't release the 2 Rx's that keep filling here. Talked to the doc and doc says we have to talk to them and then all they have to say is it'll change next month, which it doesn't. Avoid at all costs! They lie and lose Rx's. They can't count or check the number of pills they give you. I've come home to realize they only gave me half of my pills and had to fight them. They waste your time. I put in a refill and a week later they finally call me to tell me it is ready. Then I check via their automated system to be sure it is ready because I have gone in before after they called and it wasn't really ready. Automated system said it was. They tell me I don't know what I am talking about. Doctors send in Rx and call it in as well and they don't check their voicemail. I drive out of my way to go else where. Went in for my Moderna booster today, had an appointment. The male Chaldean pharmacist was very unprofessional and rude when speaking to me. First he asked if I could come back on Monday because I would be wasting an entire vile. When I told him I work in emergency medicine from 04:30-17:00 M-Th, he made sure to tell me again that I'm wasting an entire vial. When it came to give me my injection, he once again said you are wasting an entire vial and unfortunately I cannot administer your booster. He again for 5th time made sure to tell me that it's my fault that he now just wasted an entire vial. Very rude, very unprofessional, and quite honestly very pompous and arrogant. If I see you in my ER I'll be sure to deny you service as well. read more

Worst pharmacy ever..... they take forever to fill your prescription, stopped by yesterday to drop off a prescription for bronchitis they told me I'll be 15 minutes to fill it, I said fine I'll do some shopping at the store ... came back to find out they won't have it till the following day till 4 pm .....why did they tell me 15 minutes in the first place?? It is now 6 pm the following and guess what??? Still not ready.... they told me I'll be another hour till ready ...!!!!! Honestly they would get a ZERO star from me. I started going to this pharmacy when we moved to Spring Valley because it was close. A few weeks ago I went in to fill some medicine. They said they didn't have any and they would have it the next day and to come at 4pm. So my husband and I got there around 4:30 I get to the register and they told me they didn't get my meds in and I would have to wait until Tuesday to get them because it was Memorial weekend. I told them that doesn't work for me as I don't have enough to last me. After 20 minutes of back and forth they gave me a partial. If they had some of them why didn't they ask if I wanted one the day before? They gave me 2 weeks worth and then when I went to get the rest of my meds it was the same b.s. I told the one girl that's works there that is nice that I am now having anxiety just trying to get mine or my daughter's medicine filled and told her I will be finding a new pharmacy. My friend told me to go to her pharmacy that is a little mom and pop shop. It's only 5 extra minutes and they deliver. I got all my medicine and my daughter's transferred to Paradise Hills Pharmacy. The pharmacist called me to tell me that my medicine that was due was ready to be picked up. When I went in there the pharmacist asked me "what is going on with your one medicine?" I thought I had a refill left but no Savon gave me another partial on the same medicine and now I have 10 pills left to pick up. WTF. Who does that and not even tell you what is going on. The only way that Savon will keep there business is if they start treating their customers like people and try to help the situation instead of making the customers feel like shit, when they are just trying to get there medicine. If you need a new pharmacy I suggest going to Paradise Hills Pharmacy. I don't care how desperate I am I will never go to Savon again! read more

A little socializing with your customer is fine, but spending 10 minutes while people are waiting in line is unacceptable

Rude, and terribly time consuming. Crying 8 year old has an infected eye. We waited in line, while tech wiped her area clean, she told us they were, "working on it, should be 15 minutes". We shopped, returned, waited in line again, she advised us "wait another 10". Another person behind the counter overheard name and said they needed new patient information (we picked up prescription drops for him there yesterday). He sorted it out told us to wait 10 more. Another tech finally called us over we started to ring up, then pharmacist came over and asked us to wait again since the antibioticswere not mixed. I was just turned away because they closed at 5pm when I was in fact standing in line well before 5pm. When I finally got to the counter the pharmacy tech had told me she can't fill my rx because she was closing and it would take well over 15 minutes to process it. If i could give this place no stars I would. There is no follow through with this pharmacy. There customer service sucks. This is not a personable pharmacy at all. The the old Vons may have needed some work but at least the people that worked in the pharmacy we're helpful compassionate and actually cared. From day one of having to come to this Albertson's Savon I've hated it. They don't call you to tell you that your medication isn't covered and they have to contact the doctor to get a new medication you find that out when you show up to pick up your medicine and its not ready. And once you find out about the issues they apologize and swear they will call when its fixed and ready. They dont call. They barely do their job as it is and 90% of the employees you come in contact with have bad attitudes. read more
