Came to get a key made for my Toyota Tacoma. I had bought a key off eBay and had it cut at the dealer but I couldn't code it myself soni took it to Alcatraz and they weren't able to program it either. We needed some door locks changed on a rental property. I called around and this was the most reasonable company I found. In addition, Ricardo got right back to me, he didn't mind when I said we were trying to decide if my husband would just put in new locks or if we should use a service to rekey. When we decided to use his service and I let him know, he came right away. Once there, he was super helpful. We discussed the possibility of using a different lock in the future (that we could rekey ourselves), Ricardo explained how those locks can be tricky and explained what we should do if we are going to use them, to insure we were successful, because he let us know he is often called out to completely take off those locks (Kiwi) when they get stuck. He also helped with my son's Ford truck key lock that was jamming. All around nice guy, very polite and made sure I got the receipt. read more

In a panic, I contacted Alcatraz Locksmith to get help with my remote that stopped working after I accidentally dropped it in the water. Giovanni was super helpful and got on it right away to find me a replacement remote. Not only that, he texted me in the process to let me know he was still looking. Well a miracle happened in the meantime and I got the thought that maybe just replacing the battery would work. So I walked home which was only about 10 minutes away and scootered back with a new battery and wa-la my car started. Giovanni must have been my good luck charm. Called the night before and gave me a time frame of 9am - 11am the next day with a call prior to arrival. This morning received a call at 9 and he said he was on his way. Took him under 20 minutes to rekey two doors. Despite how fast he was he was always courteous and did it without being annoying.
