He wasn't trying to hock his most expensive pair, though; he showed me what was on the wall and then the massive clearance rack, which had a remarkable selection. Their prices were already lower than Dick's, and the selection was solid. I settled on a pair of Pumas that were well below my price range with a great fit. Bottom line is that you're getting solid selection from knowledgeable staff for low prices. I can't think of a way to beat that.

I was surprised that they had very limited tennis shoes. Infact, the store only had one available in the women's section but it was a size 7 shoe and I wear a bigger size shoe so I couldn't buy that one. I specifically came to find tennis shoes to play tennis in but they only had one female tennis shoe that wasn't my size. Sadly, their tennis shoe options are extremely limited unless you go online. The store had shoes for running and other sports but nothing in their tennis selection. For such a big store, this was disappointing. Jackleg work, simple fix, abjectly poor customer treatment…read more After buying thousands of dollars worth of Schonbek fixtures - a large center hall chandelier, two sconces, two ceiling domes, and two smaller bedroom chandeliers - from Cleveland Lighting, here is the response I got when I asked them to fix the problem shown in the attached pictures: "Unfortunately, we would have a service call fee of $95. As mentioned these are secured at the factory and I'm not sure how much of an adjustment can be made. I could have someone available this Thursday afternoon. Let me know if you wish to proceed." The sconce in the photos was installed improperly. It should have been repaired without hesitation without charge by the store. You can see from the photos the Cleveland Lighting rep's statement, "fixed at the factory," is an inaccurate cop out sent by someone who just did not give a crap. Asking for a service fee was inappropriate and indicative of the kind of people who run Cleveland Lighting. Find a different lighting store.

After ordering thousands of dollars of lights over a year ago, we found ONE lighting fixture that fit our needs better for our dining room in an another store. So, we asked to return a BRAND NEW, UNOPENED fixture in the box for a refund. They insisted on a 25% restocking fee. This is outrageous. This is just a way for them to make more money on their lighting fixtures for doing absolutely nothing. They could care less about building any customer good will for any future lighting purchases. They obviously care more about making a buck than pleasing their customers. Yes, it was stated there would be a restocking fee but seriously? 25% ?? You spend thousands on fixtures and there is no room for an exception at times? You can be sure that I will make sure that anyone that asks me about purchasing lighting fixtures I will tell them of the poor customer service and will steer them to another store. One that actually cares about their customers.
