A new California law requires DUI ticketed drivers to get a breathalyzer installed in the car. It's part of a program to educate and of course, rehabilitate said offenders. Basically, your car gets linked to the results of the breathalyzer: a positive will not allow the car to be driven. The device is about the size of an old hand held radio (like truck CB or police radio). Before it is installed, all the paperwork (registration, valid id - a passport since your driver's license is confiscated by CHP) and car check is performed. We moved from CA to TX and then were assured that there was a place to get calibration done as well as removals and installs - lies. Three weeks later we have it installed and we have texted - called - left messages and no response. Now a week before we are due to be charged and us threatening court they yell at us and tell us to keep it, refuse to remove it without charges not in "contract". I'm taking them to court. BEWARE
