I've never been to an ALDI so I wanted to pop in and see what was going on here. It was really interesting to see the variety of products here. They seem to sell some name brands but also some... knock off brands? Like fake Frosted Flakes ("hey that's not Tony the Tiger....") and there was this whole shelf of energy bars that looked eerily similar to Cliff bars but it wasn't. It was very entertaining to walk through the aisles. They sold Sugar Bomb cherry tomatoes which I like and was half the price of the ones I get in California!

No cashiers, self-service checkout can be frustrating. No signs telling customers where to wait for next available checkout stand. No employees to guide customers. I made the mistake of shopping on the weekend. Front end was a free-for-all with customers jumping in front of each other trying to check out. No more weekends for me.

It's 25 cents to get a shopping cart, which makes no type of sense because you're coming here to spend money anyway

Very good frozen items. Rack of lamb was a great buy! Buying unfamiliar brands have resulted in some favorites & some rejects!

There were also so many brand names (compared to other Aldis) sold way cheaper than other grocery stores.

I…read moreget migraines from almost all food additives and have been baking and cooking for myself from scratch since I was a teenager to be able to enjoy homemade versions of conventional treats and this place is one of the only spots I can truly say is like homemade everything. It's incredible. The pies, the soups, the loafs, the pies, the breads, the COOKIES.... just wow. I appreciate this place so much! If you like a chewy brownie those chewy chocolate chip cookies are going to be a fav for you. The butter cookies are also soooo good! And the carrot loaf! Honestly anything you get is going to be great. And the plus is the adorable house decor, stuffed animals, hand made toiletries, and grocery items. So many lovely gift options. And the kids section has the cutest little animal puppets too. I couldn't recommend this place more. It's a true gem and a gift to the area.

They also have an array of fresh vegetables, bakery, coffee sections and arts and crafts. Both biscuit variants were freshly baked and very palatable. I like to heat them in the oven for additional I indulgence. Customer service is friendly and pleasant. Overall, a great ambiance and warm inviting environment. Highly recommended.

This is a very old fashioned Italian-American style old NY style of grocery store. They have…read moreproducts and produce here that you won't find anywhere else, except an Italian specialty market. I can always count on them for beautiful broccoli-rabe and escarole. I come here for my hard to find Italian groceries like decaf espresso powder, Anna pasta and Brioshci (I actually get the Galeffi). And of course a box of Torone. In the back is a great little meat market where I get some of the best pork chops and my Bell & Evan's chicken. They also have great sausages, pinwheel steaks and really nice burgers and ground meat. All perfect to add to my Sunday sauce with a nice hunk of braciole or throw on the grill. I was here recently and I was hoping that the deli & bakery would be open, but not yet. I'm hoping they open soon. I miss having a nice loaf of semolina bread and getting my fresh stuffed shells. Prices are good, but you have to pick out your fruits and veggies. Now, if you cook, you should know how to do this. It's why you get such great buys. If you just want to buy it and it's all perfect, go pay 3x the price elsewhere. The fruit section is good. They do have a few seasonal items, like Cardone, or Zucchini blossoms. But the best part is and you can get almost everything here year round. If you're an Italian American who wants their foods, this is the place.

Cross Island Fruit - $3.81 cheaper at Stop n Shop. Similar expiration date in 2025. I can understand up to a $1 difference, but this is criminal.
