I usually go to Glenville store, but since I was in CP this morning, I stopped here. Got several special finds such as the Rechargeable Water Flosser $19.99, steamer for $12.99, pack of three scissors for $4.99, and a small Minnie backpack for my granddaughter. I am pleased with these purchases. However, I also came for organic berries. Every pack of strawberries and raspberries had mold on a few berries. If there is mold on even one berry in the package, all the berries are suspect. It is unfortunate that there is not enough help to monitor the produce area. Parking at this store is very good. The one cashier was working nonstop. read more

I visited the Clifton Park store ~ 3:30 on Saturday 4/12/25. I asked one of the stocker's if there was hot chocolate mix. The stocker ignored me. I asked the same question again. The stocker's rude response without looking at me was "no its not hot chocolate season." I walked away and went to the self-checkout. I used the chip card reader for my debit card and received an error. Before I could even try the chip card reader again another stocker from ~ 10 feet away rudely said "SWIPE THE CARD." This is store has a history of rude employees. I experienced rudeness from their employees in years past and took a very long break from shopping at the Clifton Park store. I gave the store another chance and guess what the same type of behavior from their employees. Rude and unprofessional. read more

I never knew this place existed or who they were for many years till my mom started looking at the weekly flyers and told me how ridiculously inexpensive a few of the produce items were. Then I spoke to my boss the next day and asked him, about Aldis and he started laughing and told me that he shops there often. He takes his kids out shopping and it' easy shopping there as the store is rightly sized. where he finds everything what he is looking for and spends less time shopping with out having to walk a mile, like a you would in a large grocery store. I placed an online order for groceries with the Clifton Park Aldi, and like Walmart they let you pick out a pick up time to pick up your groceries. So, I picked out 4 to 5:00 p.m. as my pick up time for my grocery order. My husband gets out of work at 4:00 p.m. so he would be there at 4:30 to pick up the grocery order. I kept getting messages saying my order would be ready for pickup at 5:00 p.m. What happened to the pickup time I chose when I put the order in? I chose between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.? NOT 5 PM!! So I go to call Aldi's, and they do not have a phone number available at the store for customers to call them with any issues that you may have with your grocery order. So, I called the corporate office, at the toll free number, and then an outgoing message plays basically saying the same thing, that they don't have phones at the individual stores, and then it hangs up on you. WOW, that's really great customer service!!! You can't speak to anyone from the store, you can't speak to anyone from corporate, you can't speak to anyone PERIOD! All I wanted to do was to confirm the order would be ready at 4:30, because my husband was picking it up on the way home from work, and he would NOT want to be sitting outside the door waiting for groceries, for 30 minutes. So I tried using Google to ascertain a telephone number for Aldi's AGAIN, and my search basically said to reach out to Instacart. I'm not sure why I had to reach out to Instacart, I was not using Instacart to deliver my groceries. We were picking the groceries up at the store. So, I did what it said to do, I reached out to Instacart and the lady from Instacart said, that when you put an online order in at Aldi's, and it gives you your pickup time, and if your pickup time is from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. it will be ready at 5:00 p.m.... so in the future should you put an order in, and you choose a pickup time, and lets say it's from noon to 1:00 p.m. don't count on it being ready at noon, or at 12:30 for that matter. It will be ready at 1:00 p.m. Okay, I don't have a problem with that, but then why set their website up like that? Their website is set up where you choose hour increments for picking up your groceries, just like at Walmart. At Walmart if you choose 4 to 5:00 p.m. as your pickup time, and you get there at 4:00 p.m. the order is ready. If you get there at 4:15, the order is ready, and if you get there at 4:30 or 4:45 p.m. your order is ready. Set your website up with "specific" times so that customers can get there and pick it up at that "specific" time. I just had to canceled the order. I did not want to have to cancel it because I had things in that grocery order that I was planning on using to prepare our dinner for this evening . That being said, the woman from Instacart said she had no way to contact anybody at the store either to let them know that someone would be there at 4:30 to pick up our grocery order. What the heck kind of business is this? Aldi's wants your business, they want to get in on the online shopping phenomena, that all the other stores are doing, but yet you have no way to contact anybody should you have an issue with your order? That's CRAZY!!! They don't have my business, and the order was for over $100 dollars. At least with Walmart should I have any issues whatsoever during my online grocery shopping experience, I have a telephone number to reach out to a live human being to help me with my issue. read more

Aldi is a "no frills" discount food market, which stocks the basic grocery items. The stuff here is pretty cheap! My family shops at Aldi often to save money. Aldi carries mostly their own line of brands of each product, plus they offer special purchases of name brand products. The store carries the basic dry groceries & staples, household items, canned goods, snacks, candy, limited produce, frozen foods, dairy products and other perishibles. Sometimes, they carry some specials products such as patio furniture, toys, radios, and even GPS units. Time to go shopping! I like Cheerios, but they instead carry Millville Crispy Oats ($1.59). Check! Aunt Jemima Syrup is a favorite on my flapjacks, but I can settle for Aunt Maple's Syrup ($1.39 for 24oz bottle). Check! Quaker Instant Oatmeal helps to start the day right, and so does Millville Instant Oatmeal ($1.49).Check! Hellmann's Mayonnaise on bread is good, but let's hope Burman's Mayo ($1.79) is just as good. Check! Hamburger Helper is super, but Reggano Skillet Dinners (96 cents) will do! Check! Cheetos go well for the party, but so do Clancy's Cheese Curls (99 cents) Check! Kids love Oscar Meyer Lunchables and they'll also love Lunch Buddies ($1.79). Check! Banquet Frozen Dinners are great while watching old movies, and so do Castleton Frozen Salisbury Steak/Boneless Ribettes Dinners (95 cents each). Check! I love grits, but Aldi stopped carrying Millville Instant Grits. Bring mah grits back! While here, let's grab a gallon of Friendly Farms milk ($2.39), a dozen Goldhen grade A large eggs ($1.09), a loaf of L'Oven Fresh Bread (79 cents), some Pringles ($1.47-used to be 99 cents), and Bananas (39 cents/lb). Let's not forget the Monkey Bread ($2.99 in the freezer). We always bring our own bags to Aldi since they charge for bags, 6 cents for paper, 10 cents for plastic, and 99 cents for a reusable. I usually love Aldis but I have to say I am extremely disappointed after my trip there last night. The sign on the door clearly states that masks are required while in the store but a couple walked in at the same time as me and did not wear a mask the entire time. I saw them interact with staff and no one told them to wear a mask! They were not social distancing. read more

I love Aldi as a general rule. This particular location is too crowded but has a really nice selection. I normally visit the Ballston Spa location as it is quieter and neater just because the crowds are not insane. I went to this one recently because I needed to run a few other errands in Clifton Park. I agree with another reviewer though regarding the credit card scamming and recommend paying cash here. Don't ever use your bank card here unless you're okay with putting your identity and bank account funds on the line. If you want to go to this location, go early in the morning or closer to closing time. Aldi has great prices and most of their generics are pretty much identical to their brand name cousins. read more

Come to Aldi's for unbeatable prices, so-so selection and moderate freshness. The advantage is that you will save somewhere between 25-50% over stores like Hannaford, Price Chopper, even Walmart. That's impressive. The drawback is that the store offers a rather limited variety of food stuffs, and they are often out of stock on popular items. Examine the produce and meats carefully before you buy, sometimes it's not that fresh. Bring your own bags, cash or debit (they don't take credit) and a quarter for a cart. If you spot Shelia at checkout, get in her line, she is so friendly, she's sure to brighten your day. Bottom line, the prices are great, but you get what you pay for. read more

Now I was turned off from Aldi is two other states. This one in Clifton Park after it was renovated, is great ! The produce was very fresh and the prices are always great. Yeas I can say I cut my standard grocery shopping by 45%. Yes they have their brands and some name brands. But no I was not disappointed by this store. Staff was great. read more

Also in Clifton Park: live the savings I receive by shopping Aldi. Love the "take all my money idle" aka the "isle of shame" but really it's just the sessional "Aldis finds" isle. As far as food items go it's very hot or miss. 90% of Aldi brand is enjoyed by my family as much as the national brands. Produce and dairy on the cheap. Baking ingredients on the cheep, condiments etc are great too. Dairy is good for the most part. Frozen is usually processed not good for you stuff , and meet is ehhhhh. The store is clean and typically well stocked. What I hate!!! The cashier Mark is RUDE RUDE RUDE. I will stand in a line 60 people deep before I go in his line even if I am next to being cashed out. Ugh I can't stand that pushy, rude, guy The long lines are horrible. It's worse than Walmart. At least they have self Check out. 1-2 registers open and lines forming all the way down the isle to the freezers! The cart switching nonscence.... especially during aCovid! Why must I be forced to leave with the cart someone else started with rather than the cart ive used to shop the entire time. You do t sanitize carts in between switching them at check out but yet carts are sanitized and amount of people Per store are limited upon entering. That's backwards! Also don't push the cart with my items away and pull a empty one up while I'm Still paying. Also dont ask me to swipe my card while you are still scanning my items. Stop being so pushy. Aldi stores all have the same basic features, a limited selection, mostly store brands, and quirks like having to insert a quarter to get a quote. However, after visiting few locations, this Clifton Park location is officially a little larger (wider) and offers a greater selection of products. In particular, I observed greater produce offerings here than I have at other locations I have visited. read more

ALDI has been my main grocery store while in Clifton Park because the produce is always stocked and at the best prices, sometimes incredibly less than the competing grocery stores nearby. The reason I finally am writing a review is because ALDI deserves extra kudos for their dedication to keeping their customers safe during this pandemic. After every single cart is returned, someone is there to wipe it down before it goes back with the rest. They also monitor the number of people inside, so sometimes I have to wait a few minutes to get in the door, but it's never long and it's worth the wait. I haven't seen those precautions at any other store. I know it costs them money and convenience, but it is such a responsible and kind gesture to their patrons. This Aldi was much smaller than the one's that we have in Maryland, but it still had a vast variety and offered the Gluten Free product line! The items here are not name brand, but similar to every Aldi you also don't have to pay top dollar prices for your groceries. We walked out with groceries to feed 4 people for the entire week's vacation for less than $80. You really can't beat that price! read more

I absolutely love this store. Once a week I drive 30 minutes each way to grocery shop at this store. It is worth the time because the savings is huge without cutting coupons, or using discount cards. Nothing like picking up a bag of onions and having your finger sink into one (not the first time) ... then getting home, and seeing the 'fancy' lettuce you bought rotted from the bottom up.... at least there were a few registers open, don't even think about coming here for a couple of things, no quick check out... I love Aldi's prices but the new renovation is ridiculously unorganized. There are chips and snacks in every aisle and it takes way too long to find what you're looking for. I asked the cashier why it was set up like this and she said it was to keep the customer in the store. Hey, Aldi! I'm going to get what's on my list so I'm in your store until I finish but I gotta say, it was really frustrating having to revisit aisles to find what I needed. Please get it together and get it organized so that I see all my choices for products in one aisle. Because I'm starting to go to Price Chopper (Market 32) more and more just to avoid the frustration. read more

This week,I got to Aldi ten minutes too late.Closed! Went NEXT door to Dollar General,bought a HALF gallon of whole milk for $3.61 and a dozen eggs for $1.69. Next day,went to Aldi for my favorite coffee (Donut Shop Blend) saw a FULL GALLON of whole milk for $2.16 and a dozen eggs for $.89 !!! We need to support this grocery chain.
