A little pricier than the regular grocery store (maybe?) but so worth it for the quality. The tomatoes make the best BLTs. The watermelons are great for bringing to family picnics. I've never seen lettuce there but often times they have nuts, cherries, strawberries, or whatever is in season. Don't overlook the jarred items they have such as jams, salsas, syrups, and pickles. The pickled beets are fantastic as are the million dollar pickles. The landscape in the area has changed with the addition of a nearby Starbucks and the soon to be open Ace Hardware but it's still an easy in and out. I always pay with cash although I think cards are accepted. Whoever is working is always so friendly, too. So glad this place exists for fresh fruit and vegetables! I love the Farmer's Market but this is so much easier throughout the week. Making a stop here is one of the bright spots in my week.

We picked up some sandwich pickles, local honey, and a massive seedless watermelon. Prices on some items were a little higher than expected, but given they're local, I didn't mind paying a bit extra--it feels good to support nearby farmers and makers. That said, there are a few things I'd probably skip. One thing to note: they add a $1 fee for card transactions, so if you want to avoid that, bring cash!

I was warmly greeted at the door by a gentleman who explained it was hard for local farmers to produce certified organic foods, but that is what they are trying to bring to this area of Omaha. You can easily pass it up on Radial Hwy, since the sign s pretty small, but it is on the SE corner of 48th and Radial Hwy. Parking out front is dangerous along the Hwy, but I did see a lot in the back which I presume you can park. I hope they do well in this location.

I was looking for some green loose leaf tea and the staff was also friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. If you're trying to cook authentic Asian dishes at home or just want to explore something new, this is the spot. They also have a wide variety of Asian medicinals and makeups. Lots of different Asian sauces, products, and other items. It gives me a feel of a 99 Ranch Market. There is a section of claw machines, which is rigged. Even though we did win some prize, some machines were kind of sketchy, one machine did take one of our tokens. There is a takeout/restaurant in the back, it was pretty busy while we were there. They had pre made banh mi to grab on the go, banh mi, is something that should be eaten fresh when possible. This place is pretty big and we'll organized. This is the only Asian market I've been to out here, but I think its pretty good being out here in Omaha. The cons is that the parking lot is tight, the layout of the registers are not in a good spot, when its busy the entrance way gets super congested and makes you feel cramped. Not sure how to explain it but this farmers market is worlds better than the markets in Florida. A lot of the Florida ones are overrun with chain vendors that pop out of nowhere, the same bagged dips mixed with cream cheese, and bread that is stale the same night. Not to mention majority of items are overpriced. The token system some vendors utilize here is very convenient. I bought honey mustards, honey drink, fresh pastries, and sourdough cookies. Loved the unique vendors like the variety smoking wood vendor and goat cheese sorbet market vendor. Market is packed with people but moves along fairly well. Even long lines do not take too long.

Yes, it's a little more modern than that, but there are rows upon rows of different cuts of meat, and a real life butcher behind the counter ready to assist you. They even package your meat selections in white paper, all fancy! You definitely have to be a meat lover to enjoy coming here because that's 80% of what they have. Is it the cheapest place you can get meat? Absolutely not. But the quality and selection of meats and the incredible service make up for that. They do also, however, have a few other things like cheeses, crackers, spices, and other accouterments you may need.
