This is my receipt. My LAST BAKERS RECEIPT!
    Shot B.

Fuck this store! There are lists of places to get food in this town! After I CHECK MYSELF OUT, for some stupid reason, I need to be "investigated" by Dawn. I stand there as Dawn stands at her station and talks to a coworker. I wait, I wait, I wait....then I ask if we could finish the conversation we are having another time! Dawn gets mad, (I dared to ask her to do her job) calls me rude and walks away! Then the girl she was talking to finally makes her way over, the screen is now showing her video of me CHECKING G MYSELF OUT, she is not looking at the video at all, I'm asking her if she is accusing me of stealing. She says no. I ask her why she is t looking at the video, she says she does not know she just needs to wait a certain amount of time before she can scan her card. She has to go through this at least twice! And I can't pay for the groceries I just CHECKED OUT MYSELF, until this woman scans her card and apparently "investigates" We're a family of five. We do this prolly 3-4 times a week! Per my receipt, today is June 3rd and I already have spent $160.00 at this disrespectful store! I'm sure we won't be missed! Fuck Bakers and Fuck Dawn! I hope she finds herself in the fucking unemployment line!

Baker's has been a good place to shop over the years. This location is one of my favorites. They have a good natural foods section, with reasonable selections in the grocery department. I'm fond of the delicatessen, because Baker's consistently stocks Boar's Head meats and cheeses. Try the dill havarti if you want a creamy cheese. The appliances/home section is quite large for a supermarket, which I like. On a few occasions I was able to find the utensil I wanted when the need arose. One new development for their pharmacy is a walk-up window. I have never even heard of this concept before, so it's pretty nice not having to go inside to use the pharmacy. Downside is the bench where employees sit and smoke is nearby, which is a large problem considering my asthma. Having complained about it, they immediately did something about it, which is most welcome. Overall, I like the store. It is clean and the employees friendly. I will keep coming back.

Since the pandemic, I feel like it's returned to about normal and they still have a lot of sanitizers around the area and things are space out.

I would like to complement your associate at 50th & Center St. I know her only be the name "Madi"…read more I have seen her at the store but this was the first time she was my shopper. I want someone to know that she is super and excellent in customer service. She has always been willing to help me any way she can and I feel she is a valuable associate for Family Fare. She would probably say that she was only doing her job. May be true, but she does it in an outstanding manner. I cannot complement her enough to let her know how much I appreciate her attention to detail and her outstanding customer service.

What a difference it makes to be able to glide through the aisles without people pushing and shoving past you. Second, it's clean. The carts are nice (no rickety wheels here) and there are a good amount of smaller ones that come in handy for those quick trips. Plus, they don't clog up the aisles either. Finally, I LOVE the self check lanes. They aren't all clustered together and there are two sizes. The small ones for those in and out stops and my personal favorite, the larger ones with a belt length like a regular check out lane. If you're a crazy organized bagger like me, you will greatly appreciate these lanes. My husband probably does too because our self bagging process has improved immensely since discovering this, which means I'm not nagging him to bag better or get out of my way. Definitely make sure you have the customer card because those discounts do add up - I've had as much as $14 of savings in one trip. You also earn cents off the gallon at Quik Trip. Another reviewer mentioned the Direct Your Dollars program which I hadn't investigated yet, but I will now. I'd say you should shop here but I don't want to it become crowded like all the other stores. Maybe I shouldn't have written this review. Hmmm.

I stopped by today in particular to get apples because I forgot to grab them during my normal grocery run and I happened to be nearby. The first thing I noticed was the exterior building. It doesn't look like it's been updated or that well kept up since it was constructed. It looks like the building has aged, and that big sign on a post looks dated as well. The interior was not dirty, but also looked dated and could definitely use a refresh. Businesses in the Regency area tend to look fancier and better well kept up, so I'd like to see this Whole Foods get a little TLC. I just feel like the vibe is off a little from what I would expect. I also expected to see a wider variety of apples. I guess to me Whole Foods means lots of organic and natural items as well as a broader selection than what you might find at conventional grocery store like Hy-Vee. But that really wasn't the case. Other than having lots of organic options, the specific types of apples weren't that unique or exciting. When it came time to check out, there was not a single open register with a human being. They only had self check out open, which is not my immediate preference.

It had so many different places, deli, flowers, huge produce section, and eating area. It was all a bit overwhelming to me. I got a disoriented, like I was roaming Costco or Sam's Club. The food on the salad bar and deli area was the same as what I get in Honolulu though. And I'm not sure if that is good or bad. It's nice to have the familiar dishes I buy at home, but its always nice to try local food from the area.

She was finding the brand, type of item she was looking for almost everytime. We ended up spending more that we planned but that ok. Everything will be eaten/used to make delicious meals. And I have to say the store was clean, organized and stocked very well. The staff was restocking shelves as fast as they could. We were even greated by one of the managers who made sure we had everything we needed. And be sure to hit the drink (boba) stand in back.
