Today's visit was great. Surprisingly not busy for a Friday evening. Everything was pretty well-stocked, clean, spacious. The staff was nice. I *finally* found Oatmilk in stock! The parking lot, while plentiful, is not the most convenient for easy access back into Bass Lake Rd, but not bad either. It's a good Aldi! read more

Start with the baskets, outside under rain shelter, clean litter out of the basket. Many baskets had assorted garbage inside and the floor was heavily littered. Inside the usual Aldi lay out with the only problem some items didn't show a price tag and I found one surprise with the trail mix thinking the bag was $3.85 according to one sign but was $5.85 on checkout. Other than a few empty spaces, which is sort of blameless every else was in as much order to expect from Aldi. The check out is almost all self check out with credit card only. There is one clerk check out for cash. It's squeezed at the beginning row and is awkward for space for the customer and the basket exchange. Would be nice if corporate could splurge for at least one Credit/Cash machine. read more

Sometimes the fruits are out of their bags and doesn't give enough options for oat milk and their are usually no eggs lest she I get their.

Excellent products. Great prices. I'm still getting used to navigating the ALDI store in Crystal MN since they rearranged it, but prices are better than all their competitors. read more

Very friendly Aldi in a busy business center. Easy in and out. Clean, rapid cashiers and AWSOME restroom walks (I forgot to take picture). The whole area is a buzzing commercial and restaurant hub. Very entertaining and safe. read more

-First they provide paper bags and now they accuse people of taking too many. - So many empty shelves. -The produce at other Aldi locations is more varied. -No meat alternatives anymore except for hamburger Pattie's. -No hotdogs or hamburger buns midday in the middle of the week. -People loitering outside on sidewalk asking for money (and aggressively) -No cashier. We live closer to another Aldi. We avoid it. So, we're glad that this one isn't too far from us. This location is clean and the staff are friendly. Even though all Aldi stores are just one big square, some are adept at making excellent use of the space by how things are organized. I rather enjoy that the aisles are wide, so it's easy to maneuver around the store. Aldi has a fair amount of organic produce and products, which is important to me. Their organic items also aren't overpriced like a lot of places. I've not had a bad experience with the produce, or anything I've purchased here. Their store brand is comparable to the national brands, too. They have these chocolate mint cookies that will knock off your socks. They taste just like the GS cookies. They also offer an excellent variety of coffee and cocoa pods for the Keurig without the high price tag. We love these, too. If you're seeking to have quality food products that fit into your budget without skimping on quality, I believe that Aldi is an excellent choice. read more

New ALDI recently opened at the corner of W Broadway Ave and Bass Lake Rd in Crystal. Although ALDI is not my first choice when it comes to grocery shopping, I still stop in here from times to times. ALDI does not have a whole lot of fresh fruits and veggies, but whatever they offer are normally cheaper than other groceries and also fresh. Meat and Dairy selections are basic. Well, I guess ALDI offers basic things for your kitchen .. snacks, pasta, bread, meat, dairy, egg, canned products, dried packaged foods, frozen foods, sweets, fresh fruits and veggies. I think ALDI has basic household items too? Im not sure. Ive never really noticed. read more

It's seems appropriate that Aldi is based in Germany bc shopping here seems a little bit...austere. I love a deal, but I like grocery shopping, which means I only go to Aldi when I'm already in the parking lot and have one or two things I really want. The quality is fine, especially for the price. This is the most rediculous grocer... My complaint is in the management... They go 80 job ads at 80 different search engines, with false leads of 18-43$/hr... Becuz i didnt believe it i wanted to try and get a job there... But there is no seccesful way to!!! I now will ALWAYS think aldis doesnt have a clue. Wow! Was floored with the store! The store is located in a strip mall and we walked in here after eating at Chipotle, located in the same mall, one store down... Beautiful produce, clean and spacious. Awesome prices! What's NOT to love? I like that you bring in your own shopping bag...but you can purchase a bag if necessary...it's only 5 cents . As a new shopper to ALDI I am impressed with their produce selection. I love that I don't have to sit and pick certain items out and I have had very good luck with the quality of the food. We use a lot of produce in our house as we grill near daily and having the large assortment is great. My son is a pizza junkie and very hard to please but he LOVES ALDI pizza, besides for $1.99 we keep the freezer stocked. Not a huge fan of how quickly they throw your items around, I feel as though you don't need to subtitute customer service for speed. read more

Hey Aldi- this is a negative review. We just received someone else's home delivery groceries. There is no address on the delivery.. so we can't take them to our neighbors even though I've now gone door to door to see if delivery just dropped at wrong address. Here is the order/ ref/sequence #- 96379. We tried to call customer service and got a recording.. so no live person to talk with. I feel really bad for the person who isn't receiving their groceries. read more

Yuck. Yes, I *get* the concept of Aldi -- cheap no-name brand groceries / pay a quarter to rent a cart / no bags. But man. I walked in here and I felt like I was shopping at the food shelf. It's dark, dreary, and filled with some odd...customers. They had one cash register open on a busy night & when they check you out, they toss your stuff around. I only bought a few things and I was not impressed with the quality of any of it. No thanks, I'll stick to a traditional store. read more

It is now a once or twice a week stop for me. I can't buy everything i need there, but I buy a lot. If you are looking for orange juice and organic milk of high quality but low prices, this is the place. I love fresh pineapple and squash in all seasons. The beauty of the store is that with limited SKU's, they fill their shelves with really nice and sometimes unusual foods. I have bought interesting sriracha mustard, great gourmet pastas, Chinese wok sauces, and the freshest and tastiest veggies and strawberries I ever buy. Yes, they do now take credit cards. They add registers to keep lines short and the cashiers are the fastest and best you'll find. My favorite store by a country mile. (I also fill in loose ends at Trader Joe's and Costco but have eliminated the need for traditional grocery stores.) read more

I love Aldi. They have no generic brands (except for the occasional generic soda and candy) the produce is quality, and the German foods they have are delectable! Even though some of the Aldi brand foods are nasty (ie. Cream Cheese, Margerine, Mayonaise) it is still a good store for the somewhat scary neighborhood. Aldi has the greatest idea ever... having to put a quarter into a cart to shop. It keeps the parking lot neat, and the kid can have a gum ball afterward. The reusable bag idea is a good one as well. And for all the people who hate Aldi Stores, your precious Trader Joes is by the same company! read more

My daughter turned me on to Aldis and I've enjoyed shopping there. I do agree with the other reviews in that "certain" cashiers are not careful how they put items in your cart. But there are those that do take the time to do it correctly and those are the ones I am grateful for. Like the prices and the selection. read more

I love Aldi! Like any store you might find things you don't like ! Easy try it if you don't like don't buy it again. I find there breads and other bakery items stay fresh for a long time. My business is a few blocks away from the Crystal MN Aldi, so I run over to shop there a handful of times per week. Here are some staples that I will only buy at Alde: 1/2 and 1/2 is sometimes one full dollar less than a branded grocery store. The best, tastiest, meatiest bacon you'll ever find is at Aldi, and it's $2-3 less than bacon on "special" at that giant store a few mile away. Cereal? Only the box is different. Fruits and vegetables are fresh, with savings that add up every single time I shop there. Check out their cheese section. Some specialty cheese types vary and are seasonal, and are delicious, packaged beautifully, and so affordable. How expensive is butter at your local grocery store? Stock up at the Aldi at their regular price. Staff? Never have I had an interaction with an employee who is less than friendly and accommodating. I make my grocery list, and hit Aldi first, then finish up at the big stores. read more
