Excellent farmers market with tons of organic products at a relatively affordable price. Well I mean, with the all of the markdowns it's affordable lol. I was able to catch a huge sale on some hen eggs. I've never eaten a hen egg ever and I'm stoked to see what it tastes like. They are normally $5.99 a dozen but it was BOGO so you know I had to jump on that. Then they had organic eggs for $2.99 a dozen. Now I'm staying at a hotel with a kitchen and just bought 4 dozen of eggs. Guess I'll be making every kind of egg meal I can think of. I most certainly will return here because I love the selections and amount of products they offer aside from groceries. There's a large vitamin section with protein powders and shakes. There were two employees at the front and one offered to check me out at the self checkout. First off I had enough stuff where it's much easier and faster to unload on the conveyor belt and then she could've scanned and packed everything much faster. I waited for her to scan everything at self checkout and put in paper bags and it took forever. The rotating plastic bag carousel is in the way so there's no place to put paper bags to load them up. Not very well thought out by Fresh Thyme. The lady should've opened up the register and check me out like. I'll never come back to this location when I'm buying a cart full of stuff. read more

Hello!, I just wanted to say that today was my first experience at this store. I always drive by but never really shopped here before so I gave it a try. I really liked it been in there for the most part!! Sadly, when I got to the check out part, there were two young guys who said hello which it was great, but right after that there was full silence and no smiling and the guy who did the transaction had a face like the ones that they give when they feel annoyed or when they don't like their job. This made me feel unwanted.. just truly unwanted. I'm Latino and probably this is not the issue but, I really felt uncomfortable at my check out. I will be giving it a try a couple more times to see if I still getting the same vibe or maybe I came by at the wrong time. Otherwise I liked the store. You all have a wonderful day. read more

Okay, so is this a Good (4-star) or Great (5-star) evaluation? A bit split on a few points, but recommended in any case. The really good points are that Fresh Thyme offers a wide selection of very fresh produce, most of which is organic. Even better, they offer it at prices that simply blow away grocery stores offering similar quality (if they even do offer comparable quality). The broccoli just looks different: very dense florets that can be perfect steamed and seem to last longer in the fridge. The fruit is also very fresh and ready to eat. And the prices simply cannot be beat in this area. Here it is November and we're still buying great blueberries at $1.99/pint. Prices for other, non-produce items tend to be competitive, although the specialty organic offerings are still pretty expensive. Two not-so-good points: The breadth of selection beyond produce can be limited...you'll still want to head over to Lunds to get your specialty items. Also, we've had 3 consecutive occasions with Fresh Thyme-branded milk going bad after only 1-2 days, and still well within the Sell By Date. I'm only familiar with the Plymouth location, but I'm sure that other locations would merit a comparable review. Everyone is masked and most customers maintain distance. I go early on a weekday morning and only encounter a half-dozen customers. read more

This store has become incredibly expensive. Last time I was there, also overheard another shopper next to me say how expensive a product was. Prices are ridiculously high. It also use to be a more pleasant store to shop in- when they had knowledgeable, helpful employees. Produce section doesn't look very appealing. 2 months ago I wanted sushi. It was Friday, but I saw 2 trays for the price of $6 each. The staff told me I couldn't buy it for that price since it was Friday. Last Thursday, April 6, I made a special trip to buy sushi. I picked the last one, not my favorite, but it was marked with the regular price. Getting into this parking lot was terrible! There's only one way, so if you're coming from a certain direction you have to drive around the block to get in there. Once there it's really compact. Once you find a spot you have to wait for your neighbor to close their car door before you can open yours. It's only the second day open and it was packed. Poor choice for grabbing a quick lunch & trying to get back to the office in a timely manner. I only fought through people in the deli type area to check out their to go lunches. They did have $5 eel sushi so that was a nice surprise. Everything else seemed like normal grocery store prices. $8-10 sushi...meh. I haven't really seen the lower prices yet. I tried to get in the express lane, but there weren't any. So I picked the one where most people only had just one or two items. It still took forever. I'm going to wait for the excitement to die down and check it out at some off time to actually try to see more and explore it more thoroughly. read more

My hero was a big fat zero! When I buy a sandwich I read the ingredients to see what is on it. My Italian hero sandwich was advertised as having mest, provolone, lettuce and roasted red peppers. Technically... there was one piece of old wilted lettuce and a piece of red pepper the size of a nickel. This is just deli workers being lazy. What a great way to ensure that I don't go back. Next time I will cross the highway and go to Lunds if I want a sandwich. read more

I have heard many great things about Fresh Thyme, so I decided to give this market a try. WOW is al I can say. I am impressed. The store has a shared parking lot with Goodwill, but no worries there is plenty of parking. Good ol Starbuck is located on the same lot with a drive thru for all you lazy people just like me. There are plenty of cart corrals located in the parking lot. As soon as you walk into the store on the left side there is a wine and beer store. Filled with local brews and delicious wines. I love how you can make your own "party pack" as I would call it. Pick a few brews give them a try. Instead of having to purchase a whole 6 pack of one kind of brew. The bakery has a great selection of fresh goodies. I love their donuts. Big and fluffy. The meat department has a variety of meats. From chicken, to beef, and to lamb. Fresh and very affordable. The veggies selection could have been bigger but with the options available they were pretty fresh. I love how they also offer vegan options. Which is hard to find at local grocery chains. The customer service was excellent. Everyone that worked there was happy and friendly. They asked if I needed any assistance with a smile. I would recommend checking this market out. I feel like this place is just a bigger, fancier Trader Joe's. While I found some cool organic sausages & a nice meat and cheese pack, a lot of the products seemed pretty spendy. Also, getting into the lot is all sorts of messed up. Have to drive behind Goodwill & then turn back to the front of Goodwill before ever even getting near FT. If I'm in the area I may stop by but I'm not going to make any special trips. read more

I went to Fresh Thyme and got a lot of produce and then dairy and frozen. By the time I was in the aisles of grocery I was very tired and still had one item left on my list. A young man named MAX asked if I needed any help. I told him what I wanted and he took me right to it. I had been down that aisle and just simply missed it. Being 68 I get tired more easily and appreciate it when I get offered help. Just one of the reasons I love shopping at this store. Food I buy there keeps me healthy. read more

This place is great - it's so nice to have an alternative to Cub. Trader Joe's is a great option, but their product and meat selection are limited, whereas this Fresh Thyme is like a true Cub competitor but slimmed down slightly to avoid overwhelming you with a million ketchup options. There is plenty of space so there is no crowding and there are plenty of core options to choose from. The staff here are so nice. Their product could be a little fresher, but they have a good variety. Their meats are comparable to Cub. Their prices are great too - in line with Cub and the two chains usually toggle their promotions, so their front page promotions for one store will often be somewhat similar the next week for the other. The only note: If you're looking for spices, use their bulk baggies, otherwise the jarred options seem pricier than competitors. read more

How in the world are there bad reviews? This place is amazing! So many bulk food items that are organic and cheap! I got fresh popcorn kernels that makes popcorn like I've never had, except on my uncle's farm. Bulk dried fruit that does not contain sulfites! OMG! There are amazing specials in the meat department. And the brat selections are creative and delicious! The guys behind the meat counter are pleasant and helpful! I haven't run into anyone while shopping here who wasn't just that. Every option in the store is REAL food, so no it's not all going to be cheap but the options are HEALTHY without processed/fake ingredients. Don't waste your time or money. Go to Whole Foods, or another store, if you can. The prices at the Plymouth,MN Fresh Thyme store are never accurate at the register. The coupons on their app don't ring up. I always have at least one issue with pricing being wrong, always. This store can't get it together. Only some cashiers know how to correct the issues. Also, they allow staff to store personal food in the cold case with the probiotics. They must not provide a staff fridge. read more

They don't enforce mask requirements. A family of 4 was shopping w/o masks. When they got in line behind me, shoppers changed lines. I asked the cashier why it was being allowed. She said she would say something to them. She didn't. I called manager from home and was told the corporate policy is to ask people to wear masks but can't require it. I said it was required in other stores. Trader Joe's doesn't let people in w/o masks. I won't shop at this store and have told others of this policy. read more

This place is awesome. Seriously, it's my favorite grocery store. The produce is usually very fresh with a nice selection, the meats are gorgeous, and the sales. Omg the sales. We cut our grocery budget by $20-$30 per week just by going to Fresh Thyme instead of Cub for most of our shopping. It's wonderful. We love the sandwich shop - they make them fresh and they few we've had have been delicious. The pre-made pizza dough is awesome, and super easy to make into a wonderful pizza. For something labeled as a "Farmers Market" this really didn't stand out to me. I guess I was thinking it would be actual local vendors in an indoor style market. When you label something as a Farmers Market and it looks like a Whole Foods it should be labeled as a grocery store in my honest opinion. I have to say though that the deli was the highlight of my experience here. They did have all Boars Head meats, which I haven't seen at other grocery stores yet, and the butcher selection was excellent. As for the rest of the store it is basically your typical grocery store, it is kind of a blend of Hyvee and Whole Foods with a main focus on organic and healthy foods. The prices are "okay" I guess, You can't expect to get organic foods super cheap. I do admit though when I went they had organic frozen burritos that were 10 for $10 and they were actually really tasty and if they were that price I would buy them again. But I think the only main reason I would shop here in the future would just be for the Deli and the Butcher, otherwise the prices are too high for me. If I was going to get fresh produce I would probably make the 20 minute drive to the Minneapolis Farmers Market and get everything there since I know where the produce is coming from and that it is going to the local economy. The parking lot is a little chaotic as it is shared with goodwill and soon Starbucks as well. read more

The sale prices and variety of produce have made this a must stop for me when I'm in the cities. Some of the prices might seem high but the quality is there and if you shop the sales are downright cheap. Note sales run wed to wed and Wednesdays you get to shop either the old or new ad. read more

LOVE this place! Great selection that's definitely giving Trader Joe's a run for its money! I attended the grand opening today at this location and it's amazing! Their meat/seafood selection is great; a pound of spicy tuna poke for $8 and a bag of organic blue corn chips and lunch is made! I also love their olive/cold salad/pasta bar, which is a few bucks less per pound than Whole Paycheck and just as good! Complete win on the olive selection! read more

Initially excited about having another option for shopping that supports local farmers, I checked it out tonight and was not impressed. I agree that the parking lot situation is just . . . bad. Not a good spot for getting in and out quickly. I wonder what it will be like in the middle of winter with snow banks to deal with? First impressions were mixed - for a new store, it felt dirty . . . But worse than that was the customer service. Employees talking about some unhappy situation. An employee that I had asked what I thought was a simple question, nearly bit my head off. She explained that she didn't work in that department and waved her hand toward the back of the store. Pointing me in the direction to where I might find, I assumed, someone to answer my question. The cashier mumbled a quick hello and got me through the line, but not before coughing and then handing me the pen to sign (with the same hand she just coughed in ) no eye contact, no smile - There looked to be a good selection of products, quite the mix of things. Not enough for me to go back - there is a lot of competition out there for our grocery money and I guess I like to spend my time in happier/cleaner environments. read more

The Plymouth store has been open for months now and their service has gone downhill. After the initial "honeymoon period" prices have gone up consistantly, so much so that many products I purchase regularly are now higher than other local stores such as Whole Foods and certainly higher than TJoes. So if you are looking for value, it's not here in one stop convenience. I am still shopping 2-3 stores per weekly shop. I also have noticed the check out staff is very "clicky" and tend to gossip quite a bit about customers, other staff members, etc. They also won't help you if they do not feel like it, or are very curt in their reply - can't be bothered . I am not talking about the young cashiers, they actually are quite lovely and kind - it's the older ladies that really should know better to keep their mouths shut and be polite! It will be interesting when yet another grocery store opens in the area, one block west of FT, Hy-Vee will be in the same area within a few months. If I am going to be asked to pay $6.49 for eggs that cost $4.19 at other stores, plus to avoid hearing the check out ladies chatter rudely about others I can just shop elsewhere. read more

This location was just "meh" for me. I expected the produce to be way fresher than it was. I'd say this store is in the middle of Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, but similar in price to Whole Foods. I've been to Fresh Thyme in Lincoln, NE and it was whole different, experience and vibe. Produce was A-1, there were staff everywhere to help and they were super friendly. I got to customize my own juice and the juice bar thingy. There was none of that at this location. I'll probably go here to pick up certain items...like the oils and nut butters, but that's about it. Oh I do like the fact that they carry the soy-less veggie meat I enjoy (Quorne and Beyond the Beef). Other than that, this location is not worth the trip for me. Maybe other locations are better, but who knows. read more

This store is horrible. I was very hopeful that I would have a good experience based on the hype that it put out. But oh man, was I disappointed. First of all, it is nearly impossible to get in and out of the location. You either need to have just dumb luck to get in there, or be Christopher Columbus to find your way in.... once you get in, there is virtually no space in the aisles because it's extremely thin. There is virtually no selection for any of the products in the store. Everything is extremely overpriced, even the on sale items. I found brown produce, and open packages on the shelves. However, if you like raw potatoes in your potato salad you should come here. No joke, I thought I was biting into a raw potato when I tried it after I got home. And when I was leaving this place, I saw a long line of people going from the parking lot of Fresh Thyme straight to Cub. I will never go back to the store. read more
