I find that Aldi has some of the best prices around. The selection is not large and it might not have many national brands, but their private label items are very good quality and very affordable. We needed to get some tea bags for guests that were arriving and we got a good deal here. It always amazes me how fast the cashiers scan at Aldi, they are fast, efficient and precise. I am a loyal customer of ALDI but today I had a bad experience. Today Monday, 12/09 at 235pm. I was finished and walked up to the register. The girl cashier ( JADA ) told me she was closed, I went to the other line, While at the other line she did not close. A young black man approached her register and she took him and told me to leave to the other line ( I am a senior citizen white male. ) She continued to take people and did not close. Why did the girl keep her line open for others but not me ? From the other line I took a picture. Here it is . Great prices, touch n go customer service. Certain cashiers refuse to even look at you or make any conversation, others are more like humans and say hi or thank you. They all are rough on your purchases throwing them roughly into the basket. So some of the veggies come home bruised or beat up. In this economy I love the prices though. read more

I came here to get some things for a cookout I was having and was able to get a lot of what I needed for under 40 dollars. Highly recommend! Todays experience was awful! Why is it when you go to this location store #65 and go to pay you feel unwelcomed and rushed. Immediately the cashier says "Cash or Credit?" "Insert your CC". If you are a split second late they repeat themselves. Todays experience the cashier didn't want me to take anything from her hands. Then when it came down to get my change back she wanted me to take it from her hands. I said make up your mind. She said I'm doing my job. Yup I can see that in a very rude way. She dismisses me. First time going to an ALDI and I will be back for sure. This location has only been open for a few days. The store is spotless and roomy. That made me feel comfortable due to limiting being out due to Covid-19. If you are a juicer then this is the place for you. Cucumbers for 49cents and celery for $1.19. I do advise of inspecting your produce since several were in really bad shape. I purchased some delicious sourdough loaf bread. It was molded in 2 days so buy it and eat it right away. There are a lot of impulse items. I walked out with a 5 pack of exercise bands for $12.99. A lot of seasonal Fall/Halloween items. Bring a quarter with you if you want a cart. When you return your cart you will be able to get it back. Wish all grocery stores did this. Plenty of parking. read more

Think of Aldi's as the estranged brother of Trader Joe's. The abbreviated history is that Aldi's and Trader Joe's were owned by German brother's who fell out over whether or not to sell cigarettes. One headed the chain that became Aldi's and the other chain became Trader Joe's. While Trader Joe's has great prices, Aldi will beat them and just about everyone else's prices every time. You can still signs of that German heritage all over Aldi's like in their German line of products called Deutsche Kuche, which offers offers beer, chocolate, roasted coffee, and uncured Bavarian bratwurst. If you want to save money on groceries Aldi's is a great way to do it. In order to bring you those low prices Aldi's has instituted some cost cutting measures. If you want a cart you will need to bring a quarter and to get your money back you need to return your cart from the parking lot back to the store saving employees from having to collect the carts. You will also have to bring your own bags or pay for theirs. Lines will most likely be long because they keep their staff to a bare bones minimum. Best of all is the check out. To get people through the line more quickly they will literally throw your groceries into the cart they keep chained at the check out. You will frantically try to grab your items out but will never be fast enough. I used to just carry groceries around the store in bags I brought but getting my own cart has made the checkout process a lot smoother so now I always keep a quarter in my car. For years I was an on again off again Aldi's shopper but lately I have been going once a week because I can see the savings add up. The kale and spinach I put in my morning smoothie is a fraction of the price it costs at Publix. I also save on the flaxseed and chia seeds I add to my smoothies. During the school year I grab cheap snacks for my students. So what is better than finding an Aldi's? Finding a brand new Aldi's during their grand opening! This store opened on Sunrise Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale on September 30th. It is one of 70 stores that Aldi's is opening in the U.S. this year including two more stores in south Florida set to open in Kendall and Princeton, just north of Homestead. Aldi's is hoping to be the third largest grocery store chain in the U.S. by 2022. This store is gorgeous, spotless, and chock full of inexpensive products, some I have not seen anywhere else. Very convenient when I'm on vacation and staying nearby. The store has had some ups and sadly mostly downs. I'm a period of 2 years since the pandemic this store went from a normal, organized, clean and aesthetically pleasing store to just looking like a Family Dollar store. and trust me, if you seen a Family Dollar store, you know what I'm talking about. Every single time I go, there's a mess beyond understanding. Wooden pallets are dangerously left in the middle of the aisles. When is not the wooden pallets, is the empty boxes inside their warehouse carts. My favorite is the Coca-Cola 12-packs stacked on top of the few cases of Sprite like WTF?! I guess no one is going to get a Sprite 12-pack until the newly stacked Coca-Cola packs are sold... Waiting time can be a hit or miss. Back when it first open, they lines got a bit long but staff would quickly come and open another register to ease the flow of customers in lines. Nowadays, they don't care. If two cashier are up and the lines go all the way back? Too bad. You're gonna have to wait. The assortment of food and meats is okay... when You can find what You need. Meat freezers empty., Dairy freezers empty., the produce section is a cluster fuck And speaking of produce, that is one of those items that needs to be carefully inspected., some looked like they were left outside too long. Avoid their frozen food selections., I got food poisoning once and My roommate got seriously ill with their breakfast bowl back in August of this year. If feels like the manager doesn't know how to properly run this store and a replacement is in order. This place was nice a year ago when it first opened, but lately it's gone to pot. The store is filthy, the produce is often rotten, too many items are out of stock, and the employees have become less pleasant. The worst part is that the homeless people in the parking lot harass you for money, and the "security" guards won't do anything about it. I truly don't feel safe shopping at this store any more. The parking lot here is completely unsafe. I have been followed to my car on numerous occasions by ( homeless?) Individuals asking for money. Today a man grabbed my cart as I was loading groceries into my car, with some groceries still in it, so he could get the quarter. I had to yell at him as he started walking away with some of my items in the cart. This happened in front of a employee who just shrugged and did nothing. People asking for money is one thing but constantly being followed to your car and harassed is something else This is not safe. I will no longer shop at this store. This place is disgusting! There was only 2 employees in the entire store and it was seriously so disgusting. The floor was covered in gunk and in the meat section there was literally blood all across the floor. Where is the management here? We ended up walking out. Milk cartons were swollen, empty shelves and empty freezers. Container of cookies scattered on the floor. No attempt to clean anything. Probably the most affordable grocery store chain I've ever been to. Someone mentioned to take a good look at the produce prior to purchasing because sometimes it can be in bad shape, this is definitely true. Otherwise, they have a great selection and variety of foods. They have so many different types of cheese, which pairs great with their well priced wine. The German chocolate is delicious! Overall, I like shopping here. It is a great option as long as you don't have a preference for common name brand items, which there are very few of. This location is very unfortunate I never feel safe in the parking lot. I have seen the cops pull in and kick out someone in the parking lot probably Harassing people for money. This location never has boxes available and the employees are unpleasant. It's a new process Everytime I come here. Some cashiers tell you to remove your bags or boxes out of the cart and other will put the items in the box in the cart. I really liked this place when it first opened up but yes it has defiantly gone down hill. And the produce always looks horrible. Also I've seen items that were clearly left out that were suppose to be refrigerated and then put back in the cooler very unsafe to eat. Be aware and safe shopping here read more
