It's Saturday noon, I came to get late breakfast at the market deli. Surprisingly not busy. I got a number proceeded to order and it was quick. I ordered empanadas( chicken and also beef patty, Colombian style, they also have Cuban style) and Pan de Bono (cheese bread). The food taste great. I also ordered Cafe con Leche(coffee and cream). The coffee is excellent not watered down. Staff very friendly, although checkout at deli is a little slow. They have a nice small seating area perfect to snack then off to grocery shop. I would've never thought of coming here but my mother told me about this place and this is where she buys the empanadas from. So had to check it out. I'll definitely be back. read more

This business needs an update review only because its name has changed for the third time. It is now called Price Choice Supermarkets. The supermarket is still large and clean with organized aisles, still offering local and international items, and the prices remain reasonable. I didn't walk through the whole supermarket. As I came in I headed straight to the meat department to get some pork spare ribs to cook for Superbowl Sunday. It was on sale $1.99/lb. I could not pass that up. I also went into the international aisle and got a can of coconut milk and browning sauce. Though the name has changed, it's still a nice place to get any items from the Caribbean and fresh produce. Can't say when I'll be back here; but whenever there's a good sale on meats and/or seafood, I will definitely come around. read more

I am not one to travel for a grocery store or try not so popular places. I received their circular in the mail and found some amazing deals I thought it was worth driving for. Apparently this store is also new. It was a rainy day and there were numerous drivers who were pulling up slowly to the front of the store and blocking traffic. I finally made my way into one of the parking aisles and found a spot really close to the entrance. I guess it pays sometimes not to be lazy! The store was busy but not crowded. I previously made a list in my head of what items I wanted to purchase here and started in the produce section, at the front of the store. 10 lines for $1! They had all sorts of exotic fruits and vegetables I have not seen before. The item that influenced me to shop here was espresso blocks for 99 cents!! I still browsed every aisle because I do that in stores I am not familiar with. I found all sorts of stuff that looked intriguing and many items I missed from NYC. They also have a deli section with tables you can dine at. I did not see much in that area so I did not spend much time there. I finally made my way to the cashiers. The cashier I had was super friendly and engaged in conversation with me right away. I was so impressed because this kid was young enough to be my son lol. He was funny and charming. He asked if I was Colombian or if my husband was because I purchased a lot of Colombian products. I chuckled and said neither but I have an abundance of Colombian friends. We then had a great conversation about NYC. In the meantime, he noticed my coffee was not ringing up 99 cents and contacted the manager. She informed us there was a limit of 2 per customer and said I could ring them up separately. I thought that was very kind of them. I have not had such positive interactions with employees at a grocery store in a while so this was nice. I walked out very happy and planning to shop here again. read more

Loved the staff at the area where they serve hot foods. The staff was super helpful and prompted to to try differant items, which I eneded up purchasing and loving. Delicious food, and great, fun energetic energy by the friendly staff. Was traveling thru, but eneded up coming back to get the delicious food and welcoming feeling. Very nice and clean store, with a lot of foreign (Latino) food and merchandise. I really enjoyed my experience there, everything was clean and well organized. Good deals on some food and drink. They have a hot food spot inside as well with yummy lechón (pork). Missing some food items and the rice tasted old and had some hard pieces. Despite this the pork was good enough to eat on its own. Would recommend it for shopping and some food items, especially if you like Latino food. read more

I live less than 5 minutes away and I've just recently started coming here. Good prices and the employees are nice every time I've gone. I love that they sell all the Colombian goodies that I used to only be able to get back in the motherland. The prepared foods section is always fresh and really delicious. The Colombian buñuelos, empanadas and arepas de choclo are amazing! I also like that they sell vegan items such as cheese, ground meat, bbq jackfruit and gardein in the frozen aisle. The veggies and produce, although not organic, always look fresh and tasty. The store is well organized and parking is never a hassle. read more

This is a local supermarket a friend recommended for the pastries . We went in the evening so they didn't have much options at the bakery section however we were able to purchase " pan de queso " ( cheese bread ). It was cheap $4 and a decent size . The cheese was melted and the bread was warm / soft . They also have fruits / vegetables for an affordable price . Hidden supermarket with good finds. To find variety of pastries it's recommended to pass by in the mornings . read more

My mom always goes to this location because is down the street from the house . She always gets de soup today she got it as usually n not only the lady that serve her was rude ass hell but after trying to over charger on her soup they made her wait only to get home n try the soup n it was bad , I took a lil spoon to see if it was just my mom . Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation, the staff appeared exhausted and the store overcrowded. Physical distancing was NOT being practiced, and there were no controls over the number of people in the store. I'm not going to return as long as the pandemic is active. read more

This store is infamous for putting specials in their sale paper to draw people in, and then not have what is in the publication. perfect example of this week was chicken thighs. it's not worth going in there unless you need other things. read more

The store is well laid out and clean. However the management may want to look into the freshness of some of the deli items. On my most recent visit which was last week, among the items I purchased, was a loaf of Cuban bread which when I took it out of the long paper bag the next morning, I found the inside plastic bag it came in was partially torn, and I found mold on the bread. (I had selected it from the top tier of the food warmer). Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of it before I threw it in the trash. Another thing, some of the cashiers seem harried and rude although they may not mean to be. It could be because something is lost in the translation when they think in Spanish and speak in English! I was in this area in Pembroke pines on Easter Sunday & went in for a few things, they were out of a sale item in produce & I asked a man who said he was the manager named Raul, for a substitution & he said No.. Then he and the cashier on the first register starting laughing.. Rude & disrespectful! I will not go back. My advice to the store manager or CEO is Customer Service! Train your employees! I went in today for the grand opening and it was like a Latin party! They were giving away food to try, the colors in there are so bright And organized. It's a nice switch from only being able to go to Publix. The bakery has a large selection of different items from different countries and they have hot food and tables to eat there. A lot nicer than I expected. I will be shopping there again read more

Not very friendly customer service in the checkout lines. Guy Jonathan didn't say one word to me the whole time during checkout even though I said hello and good afternoon. Zero response. I know the guy can talk because he was at the register next to his chit-chatting as I stood there waiting. He didn't even pay attention to me. As I left his unattended register to go into another register A girl pulls into the lane and he immediately says hello to her and comes back to attend to his register. Just a simple hello food fair.
