I stopped by Aldi for a quick grocery haul while trying to get back on track with healthier eating, and I was honestly impressed. I was able to get everything I needed for the week for under $30, which is hard to beat these days. The store was clean, well-organized, and not overcrowded, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The shelves were fully stocked, and I had no trouble finding what I came for. Parking was easy, and they had plenty of carts available. I also appreciated the checkout options--both self-checkout and a cashier were open--and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We don't normally shop at Aldi, but a $10 off of $50 coupon got us to visit, there is an odd smell when you enter, there are some organic/ non gmo stuff, but just different when your used to Publix/ Teeter, I realize there niche are cheaper off brand products, we grabbed half a buggy of items, 1 cashier, who clearly he wasn't thrilled being there, he literally threw a box of cereal, into the buggy, and flat out dropped our avocados in also, don't think we will return anytime soon. read more

I go here regularly and today tried the curb-side order pick up. If you don't have a smart phone, I'm not sure how you would notify the store that you're waiting outside but it was easy for my husband to order and he was going to pick up at 6 after work but they texted him at 3 or so and said his order was ready. He was concerned that refrigerated items would go bad so I went to pick it up, fortunately we could arrange that but not sure where they put food when it's ready to pick up and you can't get there for hours - hopefully they have a refrigerated section to put food when it's waiting for pick up. Otherwise, if you go in the store, they usually have wipes and hand cleaner at the front, if not bring your own wipes, a couple times they were out when I went. They do give you someone else's cart when you go to the register so it's nothing like when this whole "don't touch" thing happened. The store is usually well stocked but they have limits on items. Still better then the store across the way - ole wally-world has empty shelves, not at Aldi. It's that old saying, 'If Aldi doesn't have it, you probably don't need it." LOL Aldi has kept us sane and provided all we needed during these times and we'll continue to shop at aldi above all other stores. read more

Inexpensive food shopping of brands that you've probably never heard of. If you're looking to save money and not shop at the nearby Wally World, then you'll likely be here at Aldi where they trim costs by getting you to put in a 25 cent deposit for a shopping cart and you'll be bagging your own groceries in your own bags. There's nothing wrong with that! Groceries, dairy, some meats, some deli, lots of frozen. You'll not find more than one or two choices of brands in each item, but I've been fine with the quality overall. Speedy shop, slow check out. They're not big on staffing of the registers at Aldi. That's part of how they keep costs down. Remember to bring a quarter and remember to bring your own shopping bags! read more

ALDI is a great alternative to the higher end grocery stores and even the Big Box grocery chains. You can cut your entire grocery bill basically in half by shopping at ALDI compared to the aforementioned other stores. They do carry a decent selection of name brand items, but focus mainly on other "not-so-well-known" brands to help keep your bill low! They do carry a selection of non-grocery household items as well. ALDI is becoming increasingly popular in the Charlotte area, with new stores popping up constantly across the region. Including this store which has been open for just under a year. With this store being open less than a year, it is still very fresh and clean inside and very well maintained. They usually only have one register open at time (another cost saving initiative) but will not hesitate to open a second when a long line develops. If you are unfamiliar with ALDI, you have to insert a quarter into the shopping cart lock box to release a new cart. That is to ensure you return the cart to the appropriate carousel. That again is another cost-saving measure so they don't have to hire someone to chase after the carts. They also carry a selection of alcohol. Including a small inventory of beer choices and a fairly larger selection of wine. Of which is unavailable for purchase at this particular location on the holy bible belt Sunday. It's cheap, cheap. Just had a experience at this location that was a little off putting. This is the first time I've actually been yelled at with behavior that I find to be rude and unprofessional while patronizing a business . Female clerk surveyed the items on her belt to find that two customers down was myself with champagne bottles that was positioned upright. In between exchanging pleasantries with her female customers, she finds the time to yell down the line at me to "lay those bottles down". Mind you, there was no eye contact, no previous acknowledgement, just a very aggressive voice directed at me out of nowhere. There were so many ways she could have addressed this to get my attention. I was devastated. Once I reached the register to pay I was boiling with anger, however I chose not to say anything and gather my things and go. I think this young lady could benefit from training on customer care, or maybe a refresher orientation on the company policy and expectations. read more

This location has become the McDonald's of grocery stores when it comes to customer service. They are far more interested in cleaning you out of their way and out of the store hours before closing time. They cut you off and ask you to move when you are reaching for products so they can mop where they need to. No regard for their customers or making the experience an enjoyable one for anyone that enters the store. Feel nothing but rushed and in the way upon entering. Such a poor people skills and customer experience. Wish this would be addressed ASAP. read more

This ALDI has been our go to for some time now. Walmart has gotten out of hand with some things. Not all of ALDI products are good but that's kinda half the fun trying them out. We get probably 80% of our groceries here and get the other 20% at Publix, Harris Teeter and Walmart. Some items you just gottah have what you want (ex. Heinz Ketchup). I can't and won't do ALDI brand ketchup. read more

Though sometimes not the healthiest or the best types of food it is definitely a cheaper and different place to try. I wish there was a longer fruits and veggie section instead of the overall one lane of snacks and junk food. But again this is a lower end grocery place. The brands are the generic never before heard of brands but some are good to try and some are... Cheap knockoffs. Tried it once and for me it's like a cheat day grocery store. I just did a last minute shopping for Christmas items for my neighbor. Bought some cookies for Christmas, they over charged me by $4.49. Instead for one box Chololate Fingers, they charged me for two boxes. I found out when I arrived at home... They dis not have phone number I can call... We loved Aldi, but have been very disappointed in the increased pricing since they reopened our local Fort Mill store. Many items are $1 more than the Indian Land store so we drive the extra distance to shop there. Sad because the Fort Mill Aldi is just down the road. I wish our local store would go back to their normal pricing, but guess they need to charge more after they remodeled the store and are passing that cost on to their customers. I would have preferred the store not be upgraded and kept the lower prices. read more
