My go-to Aldi. I love a good Aldi. This location is handy. Aisles are wide, and the store has been renovated. Employees are efficient. Products are stocked. I can only think of a couple of Aldi items I'm not crazy about. They have lota of healthy options. Don't forget your quarter. read more

Newly renovated. Open floor plan, High ceilings, and more products. Great prices for staples like eggs, milk, cheese, canned goods. Produce can be hit or miss. One negative, I saw that my Cedar Hill Aldi had eggs and coconut milk on sale while this one had them at normal price. Every other item I usually get was the same exact price as my Cedar Hill Aldi. read more

I just love me some Aldi. I have shopped at Aldi for as long as I can remember, and I frequent this location and the one on Nathan Lowe road (in Arlington) often. You just can't beat the prices. They have a lot of different items from snacks to dairy products to meat and produce for significantly less than you would get them anywhere else. Many times the generic brands are comparable to other high end brands and occasionally aldi will sell a true brand name item and the price will be reduced significantly. For instance, I've purchased uncured and nitrate free bacon here for $3.99 for 12 oz. Definitely a steal when Sprouts sells their bacon for $4.99-$5.99 a pound and you don't even know if it's nitrate free! Aldi has come a long way since I was younger. Their Fit and Active and their natural products brands are providing a more healthful variety of food, making it easier to eat well. Always be sure to check out the special buys section of the store. You can find kitchen items, outdoor items, toys, books, clothing, and more that are very reasonably priced. I recently saw a 4 person tent there for $29.99! They also sell wine and beer. I've tried many of their beer and wine products and I am impressed. They have a great 75% cacao dark chocolate fit and active bar that is delicious. This location has a pretty good stock of items. I can generally find what I need here. Like most Aldi's, sometimes the lines can get crowded. But they try to at least open more cash registers when it gets congested. read more

I placed the order today for some candles from Aldi's through instacart they delivered my candles with no bag setting in the sun melting no Aldi's bag no brown paper I will never shop at all these again I will never use instacart this is the poor service I have ever seen it is ridiculous read more

I had no clue there was an Aldi in Grand Prairie until I was driving down Pioneer one day. Aldi is a German store and reminded me of my time abroad spent grocery shopping. The only thing missing is the shopping carts that are tiny and you pull behind you as you shop. You pay a quarter if you'd like a shopping cart, which you will receive back when you return the cart. The brands carried in Aldi are all private label, which helps to lower the cost significantly. While I'm no stranger to generic, store brands, some of the items at Aldi are not worth the low price because quality and size have been compromised just for the ability to offer it at such a low price. This store gets crazy on weekends so I definitely recommend going to visit on a weekday. It's much more tame then. Also, bring cash or debit card because they do not accept credit cards. I hope everyone knows that their not charging you to use shopping cart, you get it back once you return it. Im sure they do it so that they dont have to get courtesy clerks to cut back and have low prices! Way cheaper than many grocery stores. Alot of different items as well. Like brioche bread and buns. Aldi is awesome... But they are constantly busy. I've yet to meet an employee who is pleasant or personalble, perhaps because they don't get a moment to breathe. I dont blame them... I'm as pleasant as possible when I go there... But I didn't appreciate what I just experienced. They were backed up at checkout and someone called for help. I was standing next to the manager who was stocking juice. She radioed for someone else to help. When an employee walking by and said that the person she called was already up there, the manager simply replied, "I don't want to go up there." That's some servant leadership right there! Perhaps that is why everyone is always on edge. read more

I love Aldi! What did I do before Aldi came to town? I don't want to remember. I save so much on my weekly grocery bill by shopping at Aldi and they have so many neat - out of the ordinary snacks and food items. To get similar ones I would have to shop at some fancy import store. I love all the German chocolates and pastries. Not only am I pleased with the food and prices and I can get in and out quickly.
