Spacious market, very good prices and stock of items. I will say bring a rolling cart or foldable wagon because if not you will be lugging a plastic crate(which you can keep for free) The day I came I was sad that my trek from Houston to get yellow watermelon was a bust. As they were out of that variety when I showed up. Everything else I wanted was there and fresh. There was some sort of small vendor event going on but I arrived at the time of vendors closing up shop. I would recommend this place and will be back on my next trip. read more

Nice little market near farmer's market that made me a little reminiscent for the old farmer's market downtown (pre-trendy makeover). Tons of fruits and veggies and a few harder to find items like fresh tumeric and yucca. They also have a lot of vendors selling items ranging from jewlery to pound cake. While they do have a nice selection, I found that the prices were comparable to a bargain grocer (think Walmart or Joe V's). Still, this is a great option for folks in the area and an awesome opportunity to support local businesses. read more

I was really looking forward to coming here, but I think it's a one and done for me. Luckily I went on a pretty relaxed day compared to some other reviewer experiences. They definitely get a lot of foot traffic, but it wasn't busy and parking was easy. I would recommend bringing your own cart if you visit, but they do have carts and baskets available there as well. There are quite a few different types of produce, but the quality is pretty subpar. I found that a lot of the fruits were overripe, many of the berries were moldy, and when I got home half the oranges that I picked were dried out at the bottom. Between the drive and the prices, I would prefer to just stick to my local grocers for produce. read more

ABSOLUTELY LOOOVE THIS PLACE! Yes, I'm shouting lol, because everyone around Dallas should know about this place. We drive an hour to come every 2 weeks and we get their produce, their oil that's always there, and this year we got our pumpkins AND a Christmas tree here. We actually didn't carve our pumpkins, and they're still in perfect condition so we ended up painting them for Christmas to look like ornaments. Just regular water based paints. read more

I come here on a weekly basis. I get my fruits and vegetables very fresh and last longer than grocery stores. Prices are better and quality is a lot better than stores. The customer service is always good. I get greeted all the time. I know all the faces in the store. And they keep it clean all the time. Always stocked with fresh produce. read more

I have to take a moment to rave about this family owned market for it's amazing prices and community advocacy! The cedar market ranch has quickly become a regular stop for my house hold on grocery day! Not only because of the fact I can get my entire grocery veggie and fruit haul for $30 or less, but the quality of the produce is always so fresh! The location is tucked away in the cedars of Dallas and honestly you would miss it if you don't have the exact address! It's inside of an old brick warehouse, which if you ask me, adds to the entire vibe of the establishment! To make it 10x better, they always have other local vendors and small businesses selling their product as well! My favorite part of it all is the fact that they open their doors for other local businesses. Our favorite has quickly become their food vendor in the front, Lola's kitchen! And on top of that, they have a coffee shop in side as well! How can it get any better!!! Their service is always a 10/10! You can definitely feel the family vibes! Which is a big reason we keep coming back! If you are ever in the area, I recommend stopping in! I know we will be back for sure! read more

This is a neat spot. The groceries here are seemingly always cheaper than typical grocery stores like H-E-B and central market. The only catch is that you really need to search the produce. There are lots of items that are already wilting or are too ripe. The workers were efficient both in restocking and checking people out, the are friendly but busy as well. The environment is not the best. It's in a rough part of town and the market is in an old factory or something. This place served its purpose of selling cheaper groceries, but with that comes a run down part of town, and not the best produce. read more

I love this place! It's a bit of a travel for my husband and myself, but I loved the fresh produce and fruits. I especially liked the prices - very affordable. As you arrive, there's a cart and a crate on the side. It's better to have it than not. When you're done shopping, you can take the crate home. They made it easy for us to transport to our cars and into our homes. I greatly appreciate the thought. They accept card and cash. I don't remember if they accept ApplePay. read more

I really enjoy the prices here, the parking is not so great, they have a small area of grass they should consider making it a parking lot. The staff is really great, I enjoy the encounters with cashiers or venders in line. It's decently cool inside the facility, it's fairly clean. The produce looks and tastes real. Prices are really fair. Fruits fresh and they keep this place clean. I made a mistake of coming on a Saturday before lunch, it was chaotic. there were so many people there. I didnt get to roam around, just got some fruits and left. there are also an aqua frescas vendor and taco vendor in the front. I have not tried because it was so chaotic in a small space. I will come on a different day to try them next time. The parking situation is sketchy. The roads are full of potholes and they are near an old train track. Unsure if train still goes through there. They should request the city to patch the pavement. read more

Local farmer, plenty of fruits and veggies to take home. Easy to locate, no much parking so be prepared to park on the side of the road. Clean and organized on the inside. The have crate's before you walk in you can grab one to put your food in. I would suggest if you have a wagon just bring that it's easier. Overall staff were helpful and friendly. read more

However when I went to check out the cashier name Yessenia wasn't so pleasant. I greeted her and was completely ignored I also asked her about a certain product and again was also ignored. This is more than just a market, it's a community event. The lines are long and there's so much to see. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and very decently priced. As you're pushing from shopping box from one display to another, you make friends with other people in the line and exchange recipes! I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment. To begin, parking is tricky. You have to park on the gravel road in front of the place or if you get lucky you can get a park in the paved parking lot acoss the street. When you arrive you have to grab a black tote to carry around to put your items in. They have a few carts you can put your tote on and roll around. I recommend you bring your own cart. There is plenty of options of fruits & vegetables to select from. U feel the prices are reasonable. The selection the day I visited was fresh, colorful and of abundance. It can get a little crowded so I recommend going early before the groups of families shop. Check out was simple, they take card or cash. One added bonus was the vendors that was set up around the walls displaying their local products. I will definitely come back! read more

I went another time on the weekend this round and it was awesome! Food trucks and vendors inside selling treats and honey. I've been wanting to go check this out for awhile now after seeing it on social media. It did not disappoint. It opens early so go early. Parking is crazy but worth it (FREE). Inside grab a drink or a coffee and a basket and fill it up!!! There's a line to pay however, they have folks to check you out quickly.
