Because we didn't go for the activities or petting of the animals, I can't write much about that. Overall, on my next visit I will try the famous MiMi's pound cake which they rave about. My wife and I arrived on a warm October day to enjoy the pumpkin patch and U-pick flowers. We arrived in the afternoon, but there was plenty of selection and nothing was "picked over." I paid $16 for a quart sized plastic vase for my U-pick flowers. They sell gallon sized buckets as well. Scissors and water are provided. Be mindful of bees in the field. They won't trouble you if you don't trouble them. There is an area in the back for you to arrange the flowers; I took full advantage of this because this trip doubled as a photo shoot. There were all types of people enjoying the farm; IG girls, families, even one couple using a wagon full of pumpkins as a baby announcement. Pumpkins range from $5-$20 each depending on size and breed. A nice young man named Luke helped us corral our pumpkins and carry them to our car. I didn't know they offered that service, but we tipped well. If you run up an appetite, they have a snack bar with fritters, ice cream, and lemonade. I'll be back next fall!

You will also find multiple baked goods, spices, ready to eat foods plus food carts, beef, chicken, pork, honey, apples, cakes, boiled peanuts, flowers, mushrooms, ravioli, tamales, and a few crafts such as mine. I must disclose that I set up there on both days. I sharpen knives, scissors, and garden tools. On Saturday there are typically 50 or more vendors. Wednesdays about 15. (Me included) Still lots of produce and baked goods on Wednesdays. Really nice people - I've been there for two months+ and have yet to hear a harsh word or disparaging remark. The customers are great as well. Dogs and children are welcomed.
