This cozy quaint little gem in Griffin is a step back in time with good food and great service. The Ruben in loaded with corned beef and yummy swiss cheese, it needed a bit more sauerkraut. The beef panini was delicious and both the potatoe salad and strawberry salad were great. It is a bit pricy but it is a treat even if it isn't your daily lunch break. I adored this place the minute I walked inside. It is definitely not your regular brunch spot, which was so refreshing to see. I quickly fell in love with its cutesy style: the brown walls, dark ceiling, glowy chandeliers, and black tables and chairs. I walked around admiring the pictures perfectly placed on the wall when a colorful salad caught my attention on someone's table. I told the waitress I would like the same. It's a Strawberry Chicken Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing. She gave me a choice of chicken salad or grilled chicken. I chose the chicken salad. What a salad. It was a mix of huge pecans, grapes, crumbled blue cheese, and slices of fresh strawberries. The salad was a winner, for sure. I added fries because every table had fries. So why not me? On my way out, I stopped by the pastries counter and got a pecan bar. It had a nice gooey texture, big-sized pecans, and the perfect crust. I stopped by the coffee shop across the street, sat on a bench, and enjoyed every bite of my pecan bar. So, I had a great brunch day, and I can't wait to return and try more delicious items on the menu. It was healthy, light, and filling at all the same time. I highly recommend them. There is street parking and they also have indoor seating. They close on most days at 3 p.m. EST so get there early. I might sound like a pig, but it was so good I could have ate another one. My sister had the tuna salad sandwich and it too was yummy. If you get a chance this place is definitely worth a try. He said it was one of the best he has had. We both chose the signature Strawberry Salad and it was awesome! The server was pleasant but not very attentive. Traveling this week and was told to check this place out. I got the special (strawberry salad (I got no blue cheese and some shredded cheddar instead) with some Greek like pasta salad with warm grilled chicken on top. It was sooo good! The chicken was marinated in something delicious, the house-made balsamic dressing was delicious!!! I bought a pint to take home. They also have a dessert case for you to gaze into. You must try the salted caramel brownie. My only complaint is I would have liked a different kind of cheese to put on my salad (goat, feta, cheddar) were the options. I don't care for goat or feta (although I'm sure it's a delicious combination) so I settled for cheddar; which wasn't bad, but perhaps some asiago? I would also like to say that they can get a little busy. It looked like there we're 2 waitresses for the dining room and the owner (I'm assuming here) came out to ring people up because they got backed up.
