Something really went wrong with this location. I went there before pandemic, it was clean and easy to shop like other Aldi locations. When I went there last week, it was bad experience. First of all, entrance door was not working, it was supposed to be automatic but it did not open. Lady in front of me had to manually open it. I wanted to tell employee about it because they are losing customers not opening entrances but the only employee I saw was cashier and there was a long line for one cashier. He was already working hard and I did not want to give any extra work since he was already handling long line by himself. Secondly, lots of shelves were empty and the store was not as clean as regular Aldi that I know. I thought maybe this is supply chain issue for less items but I went to Aldi Gardena and Carson following week and they had full of items and both store were clean. Are they giving up the lease or something is that why it's dirty?? I dunno. read more

Amazing. I'd heard about Aldi stores and this was my first time experiencing one. It's awesome in there. They have such a wide variety of items, like Walmart scaled down a bit. For first timers: 1. Located in a busy lot off century blvd but you will find parking . Nothing much different than most aldis. Busy during thanksgiving week! Was pleasantly surprised to find xtra sharp cheddar cheese blocks as it's hard to find usually unless you're at the bigger more expensive markets . Here 1lb block is $2.99!! My wife and I have shopped at this Aldi's location for some time. I have to say the prices are very affordable and their selections are top notch! Now that I've gotten that out of the way........ It's a favorite because the location is convenient, service is always good and compared to other supermarkets I've shopped in, this is the best. There isn't a single item that disappoints! I can't say I hate this place but it's basic...and doesn't provide a thrill. I've been to Aldi's 4 times in various locations and it feels a bit depressing, so be aware that this doesn't give you the enjoyment of Trader Joe's or other stores. I came in here for two reasons: my friend on the East Coast wrote a rave about going to Aldi's and getting Kerrygold Butter and German Cookies and Cheese. None of those are really here at this Aldi's. I did get some Christmas cookies...because I couldn't find what I came for...but I'm not sure if they're German. I was mostly interested in getting the packs of small Champagne Bottles. It's really just Sparkling Wine from France. But, still, it was much ballyhooed...because it came from France. And I thought this would be the perfect thing to keep in the fridge or for the New Year. But they didn't carry it. "I think the other stores carry it," said the manager. I was super bummed since I drove quite the distance in rush hour traffic to get this product...and I planned on getting several packs. I wanted to call but they don't have listed phone numbers...which is part of their no-frills thing. I'm not ready to entirely give up on this place. My wife will have nothing to do with it...because she finds the retail experience bummer-y. I'll try to give it another shot...but it's really wearing thin. read more

I'm so glad aldi's has moved into California! I tried it in the midwest and was hoping they'd make it here. the prices are unbelievably low. Hard to believe they accomplish such low prices by renting their grocery carts to us for a quarter and having us bag our own groceries. Could it be that they don't have union workers? Whatever the reason, the prices are low and the quality is great. Produce, meats, dairy, all fantastic values. I get the impression that they don't always have some of the "middle aisles food" all the time--the inventory shifts like the old Trader Joe's model. So you might find some new foods when you go. This store is very nice and a great fit for our community. They have so much to offer at a deep discount. Before I continue if you would like a basket it cost 25 cent which is refundable once the basket is returned. The store is airy and have the best deals on wine, meat and nuts. This place is good for finding random stuff or off brand stuff or even imported stuff. But one con is you have to pay to rent a cart and they do not have bags. Just a heads up also the parking lot is always empty but the cashiers are new so be patient with them as they learn the system read more

Went in on a late Sunday afternoon. Busy, but not too busy. Better than average selection ranging from organic to starchy. Very happy to have the extra wide aisles, and big carts. As a first timer, I read all the labels on the items I was considering. The produce section looked a little beat up and picked over, but I'd fight over the organic items too. I was still able to get a ginormous amount of food. Much more than I get at Trader Joe's for the same amount, including organic items. Location is in high traffic area of Inglewood, but well planned and centrally located. The workers are all very nice. And I like that you can bag your own stuff. I can't understand why anyone gave this less than a 5 star review. For starters every employee at this store is there to help you - how do I know? Because I was very curious as to what this new market was and I randomly asked at least six different employees for help and/or ask them questions just to see how they would respond. My surprise if they knew they gladly helped and if they didn't they very friendly told me they didn't know the answer but they would give me someone who did it- what's more to ask? The shopping carts require a $.25 deposit that is given back to you upon your completed shopping trip. This simple "quarter" eliminated The random shopping carts you see in parking lots and people rudely leaving shopping carts everywhere. When I walked in I thought wow this is extremely clean and organized. It looked very similar to the (now bankrupt) fresh & easy markets. The layout was very open and easy to recognize where things were and I decided I was going to walk around the entire store to check everything out. I noticed that overwhelmingly you would likely not see the major brands you are used to sing in a store or market. It's almost like they use their own brands similar to Trader Joe's. The one thing that will catch her eyes though is there incredibly low prices. I mean it will literally make your eyes pop out of the socket how low their prices are. I couldn't believe it when I saw it and I'm still trying to figure it out now. That's how low their prices are. I figured there had to be some kind of catch like expires easily or does not taste good as well so I grabbed a box of orange juice because that would give me a good test of the quality of taste of their items. Needless to say when I got home and drink the orange juice it was the same taste and quality that you would get from Tropicana and the simply brand)- which is great taste. I literally got all of the groceries I would've from another store that would've cost me at least $50-$60 for less than $30 here ($29.84 to be exact). Somehow this Aldi market has found a loophole that allows them to adjust prices and taxes which then is pushed onto the consumer for an extremely cheap yet solid quality shopping experience. All I can say is if you were not far from this market I would highly recommend you try it out yourself so you can see how great their products are in cheap their prices are. You might even look up like I did and find three or four random shopping carts to get their quarters. The prices are insane! The chocolates and cookies were a real treat. I got a box of fancy selection cookies (a nice assortment of chocolate ones) for under $4 and there were two full trays of cookies in them. Pepperidge Farms makes a similar box with far fewer cookies and it sells for $6 at Target. I also tried the salted caramels, which were heavenly. The prices throughout the store are consistently cheap. Contrary to what I'd heard about Aldi, they do carry some name brand items, as well as their own brand. While prices were low, the selection is very small. You might not be able to do all of your shopping for a week of groceries here, but if you can, you'll save a ton of money. read more

I like it! They have only a pinch of brand name things...which I'm okay with. The products are mostly distributed by Aldi. I found everything I needed. They have plenty of pantry staple items for at least 1/3 or 1/2 less than the big grocery stores. I'm learning how to shop on a budget and I really don't need basic name brand staples. I'm fine with $.79 boxes of pasta. Even the chicken was low price and those were brand name. Great assortment of baking staples for lower prices. Get your holiday baking ingredients here! Make sure to bring a quarter to borrow a shopping cart (you get it back when it's returned) It's nice to not have carts all around the parking lot. Also, bring your own shopping bags. Another thing is check the expiration dates on the products. I was going to buy some tortillas but the expiration date was in two days... all of them were No tortillas on this shopping trip. I didn't check the other baked goods, but just be observant. The only problem i have with the store right now is the location. Inglewood is not very far from me, but they are doing major construction on Century Blvd! Stand still traffic right in front of the plaza. Hopefully that gets finished soon because the plaza has some other good stores, too. read more

Not everything is the "lowest" price if you know how to shop circulars, sales, and cut coupons, but if you don't have the time or care to shop around for the best deals, Aldi will still save you lots of money on your grocery bill. *Produce - hit or miss. I've bought the sweetest, most delicious watermelon and cantaloupe of the year from here. I've also had bland strawberries, sour blueberries, and mushy grapes. All veggies have been perfectly fine. I've bought a bag of organic rainbow carrots of $1.99, easily a dollar more at most stores. *Meat - great every time so far, no complaints. *Grocery items - house brand is hit or miss when it comes to taste and quality. But you can't beat the price!I love the canned goods, they are a great deal. Their Organic line is amazing. They have microwavable bags of organic grains that are similar to brands like Seeds of Change for half the price, and their organic milk is a good deal too. The best is when they have items that are getting close to their sell by date and put the product on deep discount. I've bought cartons of eggs for pennies this way. *Aldi Finds - They also have these "hot deals" on random kinds of items, from clothing to kitchen gadgets to baby gear; they'll have these products for an unbelievable price-but once they're gone, they are gone! Aldi is a treasure trove of a Grocery store. I love moseying up and down the aisles to see what crazy deals I can find. It's super fun if you're a bargain hunter like me. I was very happy to see an Aldi here! I've visited this chain back east, as well as Europe and Australia. Now you have to bring and pack your own bags and bring a quarter for the cart. There is a long shelf for bagging along the wall after they scan your items and toss them in the cart. Also most things are Aldi branded (Just like Trader Joe's - owned by the owners of Aldi). The mix of high quality products like gourmet cheeses, wine, organic grains, agave syrup, soy and nut milk, and tons of German candy bars and imported German sausages at prices well under Trader Joe's makes many of the better or organic products here a super deal. They also have cheap stuff like frozen pizzas, ice cream, hot dogs and cheese slices as well as cheap milk and eggs. Once you get over the fact that everything is house branded by Aldi you'll enjoy the 20-50% savings. read more

Went to ogle the shuttle tank last Saturday and HAD to check out the Aldi afterwards. *Swoon.* Great selection of pretty much everything, but OMG the "specials" aisle? $2 for a bee house? Moms scooped up those that remained. We also came home thrilled with the outdoor thermometers. The delicious pulled chicken for $4 made four lunches this week - generous lunches. I'll be busting into the veggie sandwich bakes tomorrow. :) We're definitely looking forward to making this one of our regular stops. Okay first of all it's great to have an Aldi here at home... my family on the east coast is always talking about Aldi...lol... love the prices and I especially like the fact that I don't feel overwhelmed with choices.. the set up of the store is a bit weird. The store also has items that are Aldi specific, like cereals and such..I did take off a star because the first time I went to Aldi I had no idea I needed a quarter to use a cart.. felt mad and stupid at the same time.. so bring a quarter... other than that the cashiers are super nice and spoiled because they get to sit down, which is brilliant. I visited Aldi about two weeks ago and enjoyed the experience. The aisles are wide, the produce fresh, and they have a nice small selection of good-looking meats and cheeses, too. Their bakery items are interesting and I was surprised to find chocolate babka for sale. I hope they bring in other varieties, as I'll definitely buy one in the future. I was surprised at all of the sweets they sell as they have chocolate bars from around the world and a nice selection of cookies and wafers, too. I stocked up on dried cherries and cranberries made by Southern Grove, which are moister than the ones I usually buy at my usual market. I did find some nice German frozen foods like apple strudels (which were good) and artichoke and cheese strudels. They also had frozen schnitzel and some good-looking frozen desserts in a freezer compartment near the front of the store. I had to look at everything and I did. They also surprised me by having fair prices on imported teas and ground coffee which I also purchased. I don't drink wine but they definitely had a nice selection available. They also had a small selection of pots and pans, all at good prices. I found a few books and toys for kids and a few pet toys, too. When you come to the store, definitely bring bags and prepare to bag your own items after you check out. You will also need a quarter to use a shopping cart and will get your money back once you return the cart to the stall. It was actually nice to park in a market lot and not have to dodge baskets for once. Plus, there is adequate parking for all. All and all, I enjoy my trip to Aldi and will return again soon. I like how they sell many imported items and have local items, too. I felt like I was at a Trader Joe's without a crowd! Its all good! read more

I absolutely love Aldi's. They have a huge selection of organic groceries. Fruits,veggies, pasta, cheese, meats, milk, snacks the list goes on and on. The store is very clean. Every time I go the employees are cleaning and restocking. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The prices are amazing most things are half the price of regular stores. Most things are not name brands but are just as good if not better than the others. You have to pay for your bags but they are reusable so just bring them back with you the next time. You pay a quarter for your shopping cart but get it back when you return the cart. I have no complaints about Aldi's in inglewood. I hope it stays for a very long time. I always shop at whole foods since I live close to one. I've never been to an Aldo but had to meet with a real estate client near this one so I figured...why no check it out! It's incredibly clean, They have a bigger selection than Trader Joe's and the customer service is phenomenal. They're very organized, they have a great selection of everything, and their prices shocked me, they keep prices low because most of the items in the store is their own brand.
