I went to Smart and Final in Inglewood to get some supplies for an event. We were having a client meeting we were having the next day and I needed to pick up to go boxes and cups. Smart and Final is great for that. They have a lot of bulk and event style items you can just grab right off the shelf. While I was there, I noticed a cashier stop what they were doing to help another customer find what she needed to make a specific kind of bread for toast. The staff were courteous and helpful, not just ringing people up but actually assisting. Every time I go to this Smart and Final I have a good experience. Things look fresh, shelves are stocked, and it works whether you are shopping for your house or for an event. Smart and Final Inglewood gets 4 stars. read more

Good store overall, sometimes they run out of items or the people on the stocking areas (freezers) won't get them for you, also their bathrooms tend to get very dirty by the end of the day (they don't clean them often). read more

I have never shopped at Smart @ Final, but it has been in business for a long time and prices are very reasonable.

I shopped here once. When it was my turn at the cash register, I greeted the cashier. He didn't bother to reply. Maybe I was the wrong race, or he was too busy watching and listening to a sports game on his phone that was propped up beneath the credit card reader. I brought a reusable shopping bag and set it down on the conveyer belt. He didn't bother to put my groceries in the bag. I've been living on my own and shopping for groceries for decades. I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the employees in the Inglewood smart and final. I had an arm full of groceries an employee actually asked if he could he help! I was surprised!!! Font was so faint that I couldn't see if I was getting the correct discount. App doesn't work on some cashier stands. That's ridiculous.

I came for one thing. I waited in line for 40 minutes to pay. By the time I got to the register, there were 24 people behind me. At one point, when they were 12 in front of me and 18 behind me, I seriously wanted to just leave. The store is equipped with 5 registers. However only one had a person working. I don't know if I was just hot because the a/c wasn't cold enough or maybe I was just exasperated from standing in line and wearing a mask. When I got to the register I told the cashier(assuming she is. It able to see the long line that is wrapping around the back isle of the store) that there were 24 people behind me - hoping she would call for help. Although I told her, she called no one. She said: "oh ok. Sorry". Then she said: we are out of bags. All I could think was.... it's a good thing I only got one thing and do not need a bag. Anyways.... I have been to many different Smart and Final locations but this one was most impressive to me. The parking lot was huge and very well organized. You have enough room to pull in and out of the stalls without the worry of hitting anyone. The store itself is very spacious and products can be found very easily. The staff are very outgoing and this includes their security officer. What impressed me the most through is their high supply of seasonings. There were so many seasonings that I needed for recipes and would go to different Smart and Final locations and couldn't find them. This location is going to be my go to for seasonings. read more

Came here on Easter Sunday looking for a variety cake but they were unfortunately out of all the cakes. I'm almost certain the employee's name was Jennifer but she went over and beyond to help me!!! Clean and semi organized store but lacks product selection. When they are in the middle of stocking, their aisles are a total mess. They should really stock later in the evening when it is less busy. Customer service eh. I was not greeted walking in or even when I was checking out with the cashier. Come on people! Oh and they don't even help with bagging your grocery. Bad customer experience, trying to buy more then one hand sanitizer to send out to stores in a company. Called corporate they said it's to the managers discretion. No sings posted saying they are limited. Only sign limiting is on the Lysol wipes. They said call corporate the numbers is on the receipt. It's not on they receipt I had to look for it on line because the manager didn't want to give it to me or didn't "know it". Bad experience. read more

I've been ordering my groceries delivered from Smart & Final through Instacart during the Pandemic. At 1st things went pretty smoothly. My last few orders have had problems. Today was the worst! I spent a couple hours getting my order ready. When I placed it, the shopper had completed my order. She found 12 out of 13 items. But then suddenly my order was cancelled by the shopper without explanation! When I contacted Instacart Customer Service, the store informed them that my order was cancelled because they could not find most of the items I wanted. That was a lie! They have proven to be untrustworthy and incompetent! I will NEVER order from Smart & Final again! read more

For the record, and I don't see it mentioned anywhere on Inglewood Smart & Final's page, the store now carries hard liquor, an abridged selection locked behind glass doors in a cabinet right next to the entrance. I think the checker told me that it was added last June. The store is convenient, especially if it has the items one sets out for, which are usually the weekly flyer specials. However, its footprint pales to an average-size supermarket, and vies with Vons Westchester as possibly the Westside's smallest major grocery structure. My orange cloth Trader Joe's carry-in bag couldn't hold all of my smaller items, but instead of carting them loose to the car as planned, they bagged it for me in those retro plastic bags that we all once loved so well--no charge! City of Inglewood, you've got a friend. ***VERY IMPORTANT ADD*** On a Dec. 15 shopping trip, after scanning my goods (so to speak), the checker asked if I wanted to buy bags @10 cents. I told her about my aforementioned visit and she could not explain why I got free plastic bags that day--they haven't been free for about two months, she said. Thus, I ran to the car for two cloth bags (to save 20 cents--how bad is that?--but I still got my principles), and bagged my own purchase. Maybe I looked older to the previous checker and she gave me a senior discount. Love this Smart and Final,however I can't make this a one stop for my grocery shopping. However it's nice for a quick stop for bread, milk, and or cheese. They have the important things there however, beware, their produce department is awful and you can't just buy a onion, you have to purchase a bag. Since I shop for one person, 8 onions isn't what I need. Also that goes with apples, avocados, and everything else. You can't purchase just one. Also they have a very very very small selections of pet food, women products, and meats. Also if you go at night there is always someone selling something, so get ready to say "no thank you" over and over again. Lastly, the customer service is on point and I love that. Typical small warehouse store with great prices and variety. Cashiers are always friendly and parking is always available. If you go after 8pm plan on waiting in line for a bit bc they only have one line open. Definitely the place to go when you don't want to deal with the Costco/SamsClub rush. read more

I hope they expand or move this location because at this point I blame Smart&Final for not putting any real investment in the INGLEWOOD LOCATION. I saw 40 new openings this summer in very affluent neighborhoods but no investment in an existing store thats pathetic compared to any. Its like a Smart & Final Minus instead of S&F Plus stores. This S&F has the smallest and saddest meat, fish and seafood section I've ever seen in a grocery. I refuse to bu any fresh meat. It looks like its shipped in from other locations. This is the worst Smart and Final store that I have ever been to! I say this because the food stays on the shelf too long. The fruit and vegetables are old, the bread is stale and the dairy products are too near their expiration dates. I bought a sack of tangerines on Friday, and by Monday afternoon there were 2 days of mold on them. That means that the mold was starting when I bought them! Some of the others are dry and wrinkled. The old fruit was mixed with newer fruit. And its not just Smart and Final. All of the grocers are selling us old food by changing sell by dates, recycling fruit and vegies from the produce department to the deli counter, and soaking rotten meat in blood to make it look and smell fresh. Your corner market requires that nothing that is sold in the store is wasted. This old and rotten food used to go to pet food or livestock companies, and the grocers would deduct the difference in price as a loss. Now, they are recycling the product and we are eating what should be pet food or hog slop! And the kicker is, they are getting premium prices for this food. But as far as Smart and Final is concerned, I would not recommend the Inglewood Smart and Final on Centinela Ave and Beach to anyone, not even my pets. read more
