It's a cute farmer's market with plenty of very attractive pumpkins, a pretty set up for a picture out front, and a reasonable distance from 275. The pumpkins were all in great shape, no rotten pumpkins mixed in. My husband commented that he's never seen such a nice selection of pumpkins in one place. They also have some other local produce and items, many at very reasonable prices. I got some good Florida honey and locally produced jam for much lower prices than you'd fine at a grocery store.

They carry some of the most beautiful roses, flowers, bamboos and orchids. Everyone here is super kind and helpful. They also has electricity bike that can combine the paddle power and electricity for 50 miles range. The vendor includes egg farm, fresh market, power supplements, sourdough bread, sprouts veggies. I mean, not that there's anything wrong with this market, but I would likely not visit it, if it were not for the fact that it's about a 7 minute walk from my front door. These farmers markets have really blown up over the last couple of years, and it's great. Tons of vendors that don't have the ability to own a brick and mortar store front are provided a means for operating their business. They're essentially traveling gypsy's that happen to sell soap, produce, or various pet merchandise that's not needed, but so darn cute. As for North Tampa Market in particular, it comes with all the typical fixins'. I do wish there were more places to sit and eat, as the ratio of food and people : seating is quite skewed. Also, the market is heavy on the dirt and mud, which also brings more bugs when you do finally find a place to sit and indulge. That being said, the market is fun place for us to hang out on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 10-2 :) I especially enjoy the calming melodies of the musician, as I enjoy my grilled cheese sandwich, kombucha, and banana bread.

I love checking out local markets, roadside stands, and small businesses whenever I can, so I finally made my way over. First thing I see when I pull up: $12.99 for a seeded watermelon. Listen... we're in Florida. I see people selling watermelons off the side of the road for $5-$6 all the time. The seedless ones were $8.99, which somehow made the seeded watermelon price even more surprising. Unless that $12.99 watermelon comes with a guarantee that it's going to be the sweetest, juiciest watermelon of my entire life, I just can't do it. Once I walked around, I was also surprised by the produce selection. I expected a much larger variety, especially for a farmers market. I actually stopped because I needed cabbage and don't remember seeing any. They DO have some really cool local products--grass-fed meats, seafood, juices, goat milk, soaps and other specialty items--and I definitely appreciate the emphasis on local products and supporting local businesses. It's a cute little market and clearly they have plenty of loyal customers because they seem to do very well. For me, though, the prices were just too high across the board. Even seeing bars of soap around $12.99 had me thinking about the goat milk soap I can pick up at the Safety Harbor Sunday Market instead. So this isn't really a "bad review." It's more of a not-for-me review. I've visited quite a few farmers markets and genuinely enjoy shopping local, but part of the appeal for me is finding good local products at reasonable prices.
