The strawberries my sister brought me from them last May (we live in Baltimore, so we only go when we visit my sister), were like the kind I've gotten from California when I lived out west. Juicy, plump, you can sloppily eat up half a pound before you realize you need to save some for the strawberry shortcake dessert you promised your family and friends who are coming to dinner, LOL! This is a great place to bring out of town visitors who want to enjoy a truly delightful Pennsylvania farm. Apparently, this is a common type of shopping venue here...and it's fantastic! There were many rows of vendors here, and all were pleasant! The first thing that really hit me (walking down every aisle), was the variety of vendors. Yes, there was some overlap, but overall, it was a very wide selection of food and merchandise....my wife even bought a purse here! The second thing I noticed was the high quality meat and produce. If I lived close by, this is where I would shop. I contacted this florist for a wedding consultation for my daughter. On my 3rd attempt, I was able to speak with her, and she claimed she'd been too busy to return my calls. I spoke with her about scheduling a consultation with my daughter. She agreed to meet with me at a specified date/time, and my daughter arranged to take off work early for the appt. When we were a few minutes away from the appt., I telephoned to let the florist know we were just a couple of minutes away (a few minutes early). I was informed by the person answering the phone that the consultant had a 'very long day' and decided to go home early. He said they would have called us to cancel, but didn't have our name or phone number (even though I'd left it with them 3 times). If this site allowed me to give them zero stars (instead of one) for service, I would have. They obviously do not want business, or they would not have behaved in this manner. I'd say steer clear of them if you want a florist who is dependable.
