shopper stole my order . This is not the first time this has happened. The quality shoppers are gone. This shopper had a California cell number and claimed my address didn't exist. This is the sad state of new jersey. Order was cancelled and waiting for a refund on my credit card. Beware of shoppers with out of state cell numbers they come here because its easy. read more

This location is virtually brand new so to call it clean and bright would understate the obvious. While I've never been a big fan of their too cute by half reliance on slight variations of well known national brands (Cap'n Munch.... really guys) their produce is first rate and customer service is a far cry from their early days of to the bone cost cutting when the in-store experience was like shopping by candlelight in an Iron Curtain sub-basement. Now with an air of modern legitimately and credit cards cheerfully accepted, Aldi can more than meet the challenge of the ShopRite lurking next door. It's no small thing that I can now shop there without worrying that someone I know might see me. Aldi gets a frugal five stars. read more

This beautiful store is located in the same shopping center as Target next to Bob's furniture. I was so excited to see this store going in here. Since the closest one is new brunswick or Trenton in this area, well and east windsor. This store is larger than most normal Aldis. Basically similar size to the one in East brunswick. Larger and wider aisles, which apparently makes no difference bc people still choose to walk into you bc idiots. Anyway. it took me a few minutes to adjust to the set up. Same aldi products. Beautiful and larger produce section. It's refrigeration section is sectioned off nicely with cheese in one section and then deli meats and odds and ends. Nice size poultry section and meat section. Milk and other dairy items easily displayed so quicker to find. Two small aisles with seasonal and ad buys. Definitely worth a few or more check ins. Everything is displayed simple, so if you're used to Aldis set up it makes it a breeze. I did notice a few cent difference on certain things but not enough to make a serious complaint. I came here on Sunday 11/12/23 with my boyfriend and my daughter. I had been issued a $15 e-gift card from Aldi customer support a few weeks prior because I had placed a delivery order through the Aldi website that did not arrive. The $15 was given as a gift card because that is what I tipped the delivery person and they said that couldn't be put back on my debit card, so they had to issue the gift card. I started the checkout process (the cashier was genuinely so nice and I have no issue with him at all! He was so sweet and the ONLY reason I didn't give this location a one star) and the cashier said he hadn't seen an e-gift card before so he called the manager on duty/supervisor out from the back. I didn't catch what her name was but she was an African-American woman. She came out off the bat with an attitude like she didn't want to be there and she was bothered by having to come out. When the cashier explained he hadn't seen a card like this she was immediately asking how I got it which I explained. She asked if it was instacart and I said no I ordered through the Aldi website. She then asked if I had gotten it through this store. I explained, once again, I had placed my original order online and I wasn't sure which location the order came from and that customer service said it could be used at any store but had to be used in store (not online). She then asked if I had my instacart card and I once again said I am NOT an instacart shopper and I didn't place the order through instacart (she then began talking under her breath about instacart). She then said she didn't even know how to redeem it (the card has a what appears to be a scanning option as well as a card number and pin the same as any other e-gift card I have ever seen) because they "don't even have a scanner". She was just very rude and unpleasant the entire interaction. The gift card wasn't redeemed and I left just paying the full total. I'm not even upset I couldn't use it necessarily, it's $15 it isn't that deep. It was just the whole interaction. You don't have to love your job and I don't expect you to be happy and chipper the whole time, but I've worked in grocery stores and other customer service roles and the least you could do is not act like a jerk, stop the muttering under your breath, stop acting like we are ruining your day by simply being there, and actually LISTEN when people are explaining something to you (instead of asking the same question repeatedly and getting the same answer). The New Brunswick location is MUCH better and the staff is much more pleasant. That will be our new go to store from now on. read more

ALDI ALDI ALDI where have you been all this time?! This store replaces the former Best Buy off on Route 1. Aldi will give Shoprite down the road some competition. There's lots to love at this place. Lots of ample parking. It's clean and huge! Aisles of stocked items and staff seems to be very familiar of where certain products are located. You have to bring your own bags to put your groceries which helps with the environment. Make sure you get your quarters to get a shopping cart. This helps keep the carts all tidy and at the same place if you want to get your money back. They should implement that to all grocery stores. Check it out! read more

This is a really nice Aldi. Usually go to the one by me in East Brunswick, but decided to check this new location out. Despite living far, it was definitely worth the drive. The store is a nice size, and it is easy to navigate. They have a great variety, and everything is easy to find. Their produce section is quite small, which kind of was a bit of a disappointment. The staff was really nice and I have to say, and told me to come again soon when I was done checking out, and he said it in the most joyous way imaginable. The store is very clean as well. It has also some good small things for the house as well. You will definitely find something at this location or any other Aldi! read more
