It's is a huge blessing this Aldi's is finally open. It does get busy at times as it is located in the heart of Midtown, but that does not take away the positives it provides for the neighborhood. The Aldi is clean, it's bright, it's inviting. Food options are what you expect from your typical Aldi. Prices at this location replicate other Aldis as well, it's a great value bargain shopping here. The service has been tremendous. Quick, efficient, and helpful. No wasted movements, it's truly impressive.

Loving my first impression at this new Aldi. Came here on the opening weekend (Sunday afternoon), and the place was spacious, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The prices are better than WFs and on par with TJs. Good to see some varieties. Bring the tote bag back! There is WiFi given it is located in the basement...but the signals were slightly weaker once you are away from the hot spot. I love that they sell some plants!

Excited to have Aldi in Midtown! Just steps from Port Authority and Times Square, it's a great option for everyone looking for affordable groceries. The new store is big, bright, and organized. After you enter, take the escalator down or elevator to start shopping. They have shopping carts. Bring your own bag or they sell reusable bags. I think you may be able to purchase disposable paper bags too. They have a restroom and water fountain. No self checkout was seen. Cashiers try to keep things moving fast.

It is very nice to have another grocery store in the neighborhood. The prices at ALDI are very reasonable compared to all the other grocery stores in the area. There is a good variety of groceries, I will definitely be coming here for groceries!

Nice spacious Aldi's in the heart of NYC, perfect for anyone in the neighborhood & anyone passing thru in need of some groceries. The location is Super convenient to basically all forms of transit with MTA subway entrance right at the corner & PATH station on the next block. Seems like right now it's just cashier service & no self service area, but upon checkout the employee was cheerful & the transaction was quick & pleasant. Space wise it's basement level & you can take escalators or elevators. Good variety of food, snacks & some seasonal household items. Check it out! Grand Opened June 19, 2026

We have developed a congenial friendship which was founded on La Fermière yogurts. Emre knows that I price shop so invariably I know when the time is right to buy these delicious yogurts at Eden. I often buy Siggi yogurts as here they are $1.99 each. The ladies - Dolores, Affou, Mamata, Savita, Tofu - at the checkout are friendly, kind and remember customers. A few speak French which I practice with them. Being originally Greek, the Dolmas in the prepared food section, are plump and particularly tasty. It's worth buying a few to take home. Adam looks taciturn but always is kind to me. He is behind the deli counter preparing sandwiches and always gives me a quarter pound of the Jambon de Paris. Miguel and Medina are also here. A loyalty card is worth having and once having accumulated many points I paid the princely sum of $1.61 for a pretty bouquet of roses in assorted colors that cost $11.99. Now that's a steal! Eden Gourmet is the sister supermarket to my beloved sadly closed Eden Gourmet of 14th street. This too is packed to the brim with fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, dairy, chicken and meats. A large variety of sparkling waters, frozen entrees, ice creams and assorted temptations are here too. A small bakery has cakes and pastries available. I pop in often to get milk or to see what's new and always to say hello to everyone. I always feel happy coming to Eden Gourmet Marketplace!

You'll get all the usual grocery store sections, including fresh produce and a deli counter in the back. There isn't a ton of variety, with maybe two or three options for most items. But those options are consistently high quality. Whoever is stocking the shelves has good taste! The setup for paying is a bit weird, they've got a long counter up front in lieu of the usual registers with lanes. It can make lines a bit confusing during busier times, but not a dealbreaker by any means.
