Aldi, I love you. I received my weekly Aldi ad in the mail showcasing all of the fun holiday items (cheese advent calendars, candles, you name it) so away we went to Aldi for our much-needed grocery trip. We chose this particular location because we were in the area for a hike (and because I enjoy seeing different iterations). It was a clean and straightforward store with the newer refreshed look (bottle lighting in the wine and beer section, fresh signage on the walls, etc.). I can't get enough of the Aldi finds section and always find something new to try. We're also big fans of the produce prices and organic milk. If you've never been to an Aldi store, they've no frills for the sake of efficiency and cutting out waste. The stores boast an impressive selection of cheap organic produce and extensive cheese options. This is always my first stop when building a cheese board for parties. I know.... I know.... I'm reviewing a grocery store and y'all I'm not a fan of grocery shopping. Honestly, I hate it buuuut Aldi is of a different breed. The prices are unbeatable!!! The produce selection rivals that of larger grocery stores. The shelves are neatly stocked and there's always something new to try. This week they had the cutest terrariums. My girlfriends and I hosted a wine and game night. We put together a cheese plate that was an absolute hit thanks to Aldi. I don't know if you've ever put a cheese plate together but to get an array of flavors you would usually spend a pretty penny. We did it for a fraction of the typical cost and honestly a better selection. It's VERY easy to go in for a few things and blackout ending up with a cart FULL of stuff! (I may or may not have done it on a few occasions) But here's the catch... I never feel bad about it because it's all so good and I save quite a bit! My reason for not giving a 5 review....When I go to check out there are never enough lanes open. I went tonight and there was one cashier and at least 12 people in line ready to checkout. read more

I get most of My groceries from here. Everyone knows they don't have everything you need and that their items change all the time. For this you will most likely still need to go somewhere else. Everything is going up and so are the prices here but I still think I spend less shopping at Aldi. My only complaint is when I did an online order I was unable to deny a substitution and I still got charged for it even though I didn't want it. read more

My family loves Aldi! It's great for so many things - not everything, which I will get to later. Remember to bring your own bags and a quarter. You need a quarter to "rent" a cart and bags unless you want to spend a few cents on the ones they sell. The Noblesville location is currently under construction...it was open during most of the construction. It looks like it's almost done, but I haven't been in about 3 or 4 weeks. Aldi is best for dairy, condiments, and snacks. Some people love their produce as well, but I usually get mine elsewhere when I do my "big" shopping. I think you could do MOST of your shopping here if you aren't too picky. They have a lot of brand name items and their own brand as well. My kids like all the cookies, yogurt, and chips. We have gotten a lot of frozen stuff too. Their cereal brand is pretty good too. My kids love their version of lucky charms because it has "tons more marshmallows." The kids also like the teddy grahams and their version of "100 calorie snacks." I am not a fan of their Mac and cheese or bread. Frozen is hit and miss. I have never had their lunch meats, but have heard they aren't bad. Milk is always like 99 cents, which is awesome since I have 4 kids. I have also picked up random books and outdoor stuff at Aldi. Every week in their ad they have some majorly random things like tomato cages or locker mirrors. Always at a good price! Pretty sure we got our baby gates at Aldi! I don't get to Aldi as much as I would like because, with 4 kids, just going one place can be a pain in the butt so it's usually a quick in and out for snacks and ketchup or something similar. That is the other thing - you can get in and out FAST. It's small and I have never waited longer than 5 minutes in line! Lots of organic and gluten free stuff too! Highly recommend to supplement your current favorite grocery store!!!! read more

I am in the store every week spending up to $2000 for a church food pantry. The manager Don has purposely followed me through the store, coming up to the register to make sure I'm not stealing. Cashiers have always checked my items with no Issues but he continues to follow me through the store. Tonight he sent a male cashier up.. the male cashier shook his head and said "Don sent me up here" .. I replied "to make sure I'm not stealing!?" He said "Pretty much." I Finish my order and told him I will not be back. Aldi's just lost our money. I'll shop at Walmart. I've never met such a rude obnoxious person - worse manager ever. No other manager/cashier there gives me any issues. read more

This is our go to grocery place! It saves us so much money and we can generally get everything we need. They always have new items stocked as part of a "special buy" which can also mean that something you really like can only be there for a short time. Overall love this place. Just remember to bring your quarter for the shopping cart and that they only accept cash/debit cards! read more

I love shopping at the Noblesville AldI's location. I love the new design and more of the organic selection offered! I love products offered that are non-GMO natural with no extra ingredients that they offer in some of their products. The reason for the three star is honestly the staff. There are a few very pleasant happy cashiers. One of the stock women I've interacted with a few times just seems too busy to help and I felt like I've inconvenienced her and what she was doing when I asked a question. The cashier that cashed me out today (it looked like an office employee that jumped in to help while it was busy.) also seemed like the customers are an inconvenience. The happy cashiers that I've spoken to love the job and the benefits offered from the company. They truly seem to like what they're doing and it shows to the customers. It would just make the environment better if everyone actually looked like they enjoyed working there and responded well to the customers. It makes me think maybe it isn't such a great place to work. The world is stressful. All stores could benefit business by strongly encouraging a happy work environment. read more

I loved shopping here and it is a very nice store. However, my card chip stopped working and so I had to cancel my order and go to my car to get a different card and come back. I told this to the cashier Melanie and said I would be right back. She had the manager come up cancel my stuff to not hold up the line. I come back 2 mins later wait in line and go to finish the order of like 5 things. She acts snarky and says oh we put it all back already. She didn't even apologize for me being in the line or waiting all that time for my items. I won't shop at this store anymore. This was rude behavior for someone who spends literally $300-500 a month in this store. Ill drive to Carmel from now on where people treat me for my worth. They acted like I was too poor to pay for my stuff truly embarrassing for a Lawyer. The only day I wear shorts and a tank with a messy bun and I get treated like this... read more

Aldi is a great place to shop for groceries. They do have a limited selection of products, but they have most of the basics. It's a unique place that you just have to experience to understand as it is not your typical grocery store. They do not have name brands, so if you are a name brand only buyer, you may not care for Aldi. The first time I went to Aldi is when I lived in Germany. The system that they use for their cart retrieval is very clever and very German. So don't forget your quarter! With it being a European store, you can run across some unique European goodies every once in a while too which makes it extra fun! In addition, don't forget your bags to bag your items. They have bags to purchase and if you do need to purchase bags, they have paper bags for 5¢ and I recommend the large cream colored bags. They are so large and useful and it's amazing what all you can fit inside of them! Remember that they do not take credit. Debit, yes. Credit, no. Their prices on milk, cheese, eggs, yogurt and baking goods cannot be eaten! They have great prices on canned goods. I also recommend their "healthy" brands too that are exclusive to Aldi, and they have even started offering natural and organic items. The produce selection is limited, but they have great deals on what they offer. Aldi is certainly worth checking out! read more

GREAT prices. Good produce. They are starting to carry more and more organic, some gluten free, as well as dye free foods. Their take and bake pizzas are really good. They sell their own products under the name "Natures Nectar" leading people to believe they are buying a natural product instead of sugar and water drinks. The label also indicates 100 per cent also leading consumers to believe it is a 100 per cent juice drink (it actually refers to vitamin c content but most people aren't going to spend a lot of time deciphering the label] It also says "no high fructose corn syrup" leading people to believe the product isn't sugar, water and a little flavoring but that is exactly what it is. read more
