I am a recent Aldi convert. I've never like the stores until some friends took me one day and now I am singing their praises. This location is wonderful mainly because of the staff. I am going during the COVID-19 crisis and they are doing a great job of keeping the store clean and the lines moving quickly. And I am saving a ton of money on my grocery bill every week.

We live close to an Aldi's so we usually go there, but we were in the area so we decided to check this place out. This new location is spacious with plenty of parking spots! They have a BUNCH of items, but not a very wide selection of the things that we wanted. You can never go wrong with their fruits and veggies. The cantaloupe we got was so sweet and good! Plus, all their prices are so affordable for the quality.

Yes I shop at Aldi, judge me all you want. I'm not ashamed of buying generic to save some cash. I admit that not all their products are stellar and their produce is hit or miss. But my plan of attach lately has been to swing through Aldi, grab cheap basics and then head across the street for Hy-vee if I need something Aldi doesn't carry. Aldi carries a lot, they have the basics then they also carry toiletries and some household items too. Some products I like are their chocolate peanut butter protein bars, organic soy milk, canned goods, dried fruit, frozen fruit. They have this "Fit & Lean" brand that's great for health conscious people. Occasionally they have some brand name items on sale, like Jennie O turkey for $3.50, that's about $1.50 off depending where you shop. If you come to Aldi, bring a quarter with you to unlock a shopping cart, this isn't a badge you earn. They literally lock up their shopping carts. Insert a quarter to unlock and then lock it back up and you get your quarter back. Bring CASH or a Debit Card as they don't accept credit cards. Then also remember your own grocery bags (they don't have any). Yes it might seem odd, but hey they pass down the savings so that makes me happy. On average I save about $12-18 at Aldi as opposed to going to a store like Hy-vee and getting the same stuff.

There are never any good coupons, promotions, or discount days, but even so, I continued to support your business, spending on average $17 a visit. I kept hoping that once you were more established, you'd start showing some appreciation to your customers. But today was the last straw. My bowl wasn't even filled to the top. When I politely asked the employee for a bit more fruit, especially since there were only five blueberries in my bowl and plenty of room left, I was told that management has instructed staff to put no more than five blueberries in each bowl. They are not allowed to fill the bowls anymore. This is a lousy business practice, and it speaks volumes about how little you value your customers. There's a new açaí bowl establishment just miles away that offers BOGO days, a rewards program that actually counts, and bowls filled to the brim. You can keep your five blueberries. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

So if you can't decide what you want to get, this option is very helpful so you get a little bit of everything. They'll let you sample it if you're unsure what it is too. My favorite bases to get are Pitaya, Coco Love, Mango, and of course Acai. The chia pudding is my favorite add on every time as well! Highly recommend.

Even if they weren't an efficient German machine, I'd give Aldi five stars for this pizza alone…read more First off, it's big. Really big. It claims to be 16 inches and I fully believe it to be. Two slices fill me up. Second, the ingredients are delicious. Fresh orange and yellow peppers adorn meats and a perfect crust. Third, the thing is only $6.50. $6.50!!!! I can easily get four meals out of this thing. I usually pair it with a small Italian salad. Man on man is it good. I've recommended it to countless individuals. Okay, one friend of mine who likes cheap pizza almost as much as I do. This thing is fresh, it sells out often, and it's cheaper than a frozen pizza. AND TWICE THE SIZE. It's good. Really good. Sometimes, I'll spice it up with a little siracha. Besides the pizza, the veggies are fresh and good. The premise food is good. And the prices are phenomenal. I've done a little comparison and their squash comes out to be just under $1 per pound, where as Walmart has it $1.38. Hyvee is $1.60. The cart thing is a little weird, but I get it. They don't have to hire a cart fetcher. And I really like that they allow their clerks to sit down. Why don't other retailers allow this? Also, la croix is cheaper here than anywhere else, and their knockoff la croix is just as good, maybe better. It's $2.50 for a 12 pack. I'm a big fan.
