Smaller store- if you go after 3 on a weekday good luck getting any produce! The only things you can really get are frozen items.

I love Aldi but I will never go back to the one at the at the block in the north hills of Pittsburgh again. Time after time the employees have been really rude to me. Asking a simple question gets you an eye roll, a very disgusted vibe-look. They are just so miserable. I don't need to be treated that way. I go in being friendly, cheerful and kind- at least recuperate that? For now on I drive a few more more to Wexford. Where is a bit better but even there are a few grumpy employees. A worker blocked the entrance to the door 20 minutes before close, announced on walkie talkie multiple times they were closing passively aggressively, really strange. Everyone in the store was quickly grabbing what they needed and checked out well before close. Rude. read more

I was in the area and needed a few grocery items. I stopped at Aldi as it was right near where I was. The store is on the smaller side but had a pretty good selection and very reasonable pricing. I bought some cereals and some strawberries and blueberries and a few other items and they were a lot cheaper than a regular supermarket. The store was clean and the cashier was fast ad friendly. The place was packed and there was a line, But the cashiers went thru the line rather quickly. Just a note they do not supply bags sort of like costco you can buy paper or plastic bags for 7-10 cents or you can bring your own or take shopping items loose. I found Aldi to have great pricing and a descent selection. I would definitely go there again read more

Rude staff. I've never shopped at Aldi before so I wasn't familiar with the quarter system. Asked the staff for a quarter and they told me no. Instead I put all of my groceries in a reusable bag and lugged them around the store. Very limited selection. Will not return to this store. read more

My fiancé and I stopped at this ALDI a few times mainly because it was the closest place to get fresh produce. It was super clean and organized, but the produce was very disappointing. It seemed that none of it was ever good - either not ripe, too ripe, or just looked rotten. It also didn't help that the store was always so crowded, even at times that aren't typical for shopping. Overall, it wasn't the best experience but it is a nice clean store that might be better if you're shopping for items other than produce. read more

Horrible experience! I went to ALDI on July 11th, 2022. The address of the store is 7221 McKnight Rd, Pittsburgh PA 15237. An employee named John insulted me at the register in front of all other customers. It was my first time at ALDI & at the register I very nicely asked John if he charged me for bags. I was under the impression that I can get bags at the register like any other grocery store. I could tell by John's face that he is in a bad mood & it seemed like he was already not very happy ringing up customers, so I had made sure that my tone extra polite & nice. However, as soon as I asked about bags, John got furious. He yelled in front of all other customers saying 'how would I know how many bags you want'. He was very loud & furious. I was in shock & in tears. It is not so much what he said, what bothers me that most is how he said it. Then I asked him where can I get bags, he said 'somewhere over there' without pointing out where. Then he moved on to the next customer with the same rude face. I am a very understanding person, however, there is a limit to how much nonsense I can take. I spoke with the store lead briefly & left. I am never going back to ALDI & I will make sure no one in my family or friends circle goes there. read more

Shopped at the Aldi in Robinson yesterday and among other items I purchased 3 packages of 2 very small pieces of what was advertised as filet mignon wrapped in bacon for $6.99 each or (according to the sign $11.99 per pound.) I feel confident the average dog might have eaten it willingly but it was the worst piece of meat I have ever tasted, tough as shoe leather and with gristle in the interior of the piece that was virtually impervious to the blades I was trying to remove it with. I decided to check out the guarantee policy and discovered that they have something called the "twice as nice" guarantee. As I understand it, and it is not completely clear, if you are dissatisfied with the quality of any product you bring it back with the receipt and it will be replaced and your money will be refunded, but who knows because when I took my meat to the above store for a refund, because it is much close to my home the store manager did give my money back but made zero mention of the twice as nice guarantee forcing me to ask for it. I then said what is the point of offering to replace the product with the same crap I am returning? He said that I should just go and shop (no mention of a store credit olr the like) and if I find something I want that is the same price as what I returned, they would "take care of me." In fact the only product I wanted was raisin bread and they did not have any. I had just shopped the other Aldi the day before. So, I left. I won't return. I can remember a time when no matter what store you went to, the employees were always anxious for you to take advantage of the opportunities that the store offered, apparently that is no longer the case. I have had the same problem in stores such as Walmart and Giant Eagle in getting them to honor their guarantees, but in this case the incredibly shoddy merchandise, combined with management's attempt to shield me from getting their full promised satisfaction means that I will not be shopping at Aldi ever again. BTW, their prices are not much lower if at all. Most of their non-name brand items come in packages that are of varying sizes making it hard to compare prices but it seemed to me that there were very few bargains. read more

This Aldi's store is my local location. I generally go here but have gone to others from time to time. This location is by far the cleanest, most organized and friendly. I have been going to this location a few dozen times now and I have never had an unpleasant or bad experience here. The staff is always quick and efficient and knowledgeable about what they have and where to look. Although I have my favorite items to choose from its nice to see new items from time to time. Have you ever notice how long it takes to get thru a checkout line at other grocery stores and how quickly the lines move at Aldi's. The concept of selling there paper and plastic bags is genius. After building up a good supply at home I finally bought the reusable bags. They are stronger, they hold more and they reduce the size of my footprint on the planet. Thank you Aldi's read more

An above average example of an Aldi's store. It's clean and shelves are well stocked. The store itself seems a bit smaller than the Bottom Dollar which used to be at this location. The real test will be seeing how the staffing and cleanliness fall off the longer its open. It's still too close to the store's grand opening to say for sure. read more

i was at the Aldis near Goodwill tonight and i don't know why some of the cashiers feel the need to throw your groceries into the carts. My cashier thru my apples and vegetables into my cart, bruising them. There are a couple cashiers there that take pride in their job and have respect for your groceries. I wish all of your cashiers were like that. read more
