Sweetberry is a medium sized market with a large selection of produce and fruits, a full deli counter, butcher counter, bakery, groceries and prepared foods. Once you have parked you get your first taste of what is best and freshest since they have a display of vegies on sale on the side and front porch; which is open in the summer and covered in the winter. Inside you find a tightly packed market which is usually packed with people. The staff does a nice job of keeping things moving, but it can get a bit overwhelming and slow at times. I usually concentrate on the fruits and vegetables; prices are moderate, although I can usually find good deals on the sale items. For me I can pass on most of the other food, while they have a freezer of frozen fish and seafood, there is no fresh seafood. Most times I visit Sweetberry while the selection is good between the crowds and the prices, I either leave with nothing or just a couple of items. If you are in the area Sweetberry is a good alternative to the grocery stores, but probably not worth a special trip.

The fruit and vegetables are fresh and the prices are usually lower then you will find at your grocery store. They do a nice job of keeping everything clean and organized. They have a nice little bakery, deli and packaged foods. I usually find something new most times I visit since they rotate in different products, including beer and wines. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Although a bit outside my usual neighborhood, Produce Place Market is always worth a visit to stock my kitchen when I am in the area. They have a second location on Mayfield Road.

The checkout has a shopping cart situation, where the shopping cart in front of the cashier, is…read moreplaced in a position to receive checked-out merchandise. The shopping cart, used by the cashier, is only accessible from one side as it is blocked-off on 3-sides. This means the shopper checking-out has the dual task of backing out the shopping cart with paid merchandise, then placing the shopping cart used for shopping in place of the removed cart as directed by the cashier. I think they do this to prevent other shoppers from taking the shopping cart, that is to be used for checked-out merchandise away to shop with. I only had 3-items and the cashier did not simplify and speed things up for me by not allowing me to place the recently paid for items in the shopping cart that I used for shopping, as his thought process was to start ringing-up items for the customer behind me. Very awkward and inconvenient for me as a shopper. Perhaps they do this to prevent derelicts from taking the cart away to get the 25-cents coin in the shopping cart coin slot.

The quality of the food is excellent (a little limited) but excellent. The one time my wife purchased an item that didn't measure up they could not have been more gracious and helpful when we returned it. I was very impressed. The stores are nice, modern, clean and well organized at all times. Parking is easy and convenient. I just can't say enough good things about Aldi's. We love "Heinen's Grocery Store". They are right near our…read morehouse so it couldn't be easier to get what we need when we need it. The folks that work there are neighborhood people. Kind, professional and helpful. The quality of the food, in every form, is always excellent. The store is always neat, clean and well organized. They always have plenty of everything. I remember even during the "COVID" years we always found what we needed. And when you're all done shopping and ready to go there are always plenty of cashiers to help get you on your way.
