This ALDI's is centrally located in Mayfield Heights. It provides an easy commute from Mayfield Heights, Richmond Heights, and Cleveland Heights. I have been going here for years, but ultimately decided to go to another location going forward. My last visit wasn't the best. Inventory: The store recently declined in cleanliness and inventory levels. The coolers have visible product residue and look unkempt. The store has plenty of bare shelves and low inventory on basic items (even bread). There are no totes and only a few plastic freezer bags to carry away your items. Store prices are slowly rising as they elsewhere. Good news? If you love fall, you'll now find cute fall decor (like cozy stools, wicker pumpkins, and fall candles) in AOS. Service: The lines at the store are outrageous. No self-checkout options are available. Employees are quick but not friendly. Parking: Large parking lot is available. Entry and exit into the parking lot gets very jammed. I would recommend visiting only if you have plenty of time to spare and need only the basics. Otherwise, perhaps other ALDI locations would serve you better. read more

I really wanted to make Aldi my store, since so many people profess that it's GREAT. I went there for the first time last week. I know that's hard to believe, but yes, I was ready to shop. Mostly, I was checking out what the store offers. I found a luscious bag of Fuji apples for $3.29. Wow, right? After eating a couple from the bag, I now found two that are only halves and rotten. The rest of the bag's contents are sticky and unappetizing. Maybe this will be my only visit? read more

Aldi has great food & home options that are affordable! You get so much for a reasonable price and the fruit is fresh .. they offer things that you wouldn't typically see in a regular walmart. I love aldi's! The service is pretty good as well. They are always open and ready to help you find what you need. Sometimes, they become a little busy & you may have to wait a little because an actual cashier checks you out but they move fast! Nice ambiance as well. read more

I am new to the area n decided to check out this ALDIs. I was very disappointed. There was lots of litter n broken glass in the parking lot. Lots of litter in the cart corral. Inside the floor was very dirty esp in the produce section. Needed celery but it was old. Didn't find it as clean n bright as other ALDIs stores I've been in. I love Aldi. I shop at this one and the one in Solon Ohio. I'd say the only bad thing about this one, actually two, are the parking lot is kind of iffy to navigate, but that's just due to the other businesses and the lay out of the lot itself and not a reflection of the store itself, and the fact that there are no self checkout stations. Other than that, this place is great and the people working there are all very nice and helpful. read more

This ALDIs has wonderful employees, especially the tall guy that works there. The store is clean and well organized.

Aldi has such great value and quality products! I'm so impressed with the amount of organic options that they offer. There are some specialty items that they do not carry. They have great weekly sales also. Produce is sometimes a hit or miss and typically needs to be used more quickly thank other stores. The only meat that I am not satisfied with is their chicken - I go elsewhere for that. They get different items each week also and sometimes carry things like Kombucha and fine cheeses. Everything is self serve - bring a quarter for your cart and your own shopping bags as you will bag your own groceries. I shop at Aldi every week and am very satisfied. read more

Probably not my favorite Aldi location, but in my top 3. Prices are unbeatable and their Aldi brand names can honestly compete with their brand name competitors. Place has always been clean. During the day sometimes its hard to move through the aisles as they are usually using a power forklift to restock items. Fruit is hit or miss, sometimes totally under ripe or rotten. I buy vegetables there a lot. Its fun to stroll through the aisles, they usually offer miscellaneous things for cheap, similar to marc's, anything from power tools, dorm accessories, pots/pans, socks. Bought a nice deep fryer for $20 which works well. TIPS: -For the newbies, costs a quarter to use their shopping cart but you can get a refund once you return it. -Also, bring in your own shopping bags or use the leftover cardboard boxes in the aisles to pack your groceries. If not, you can purchase bags at the counter for 10 cents each. -Lastly, they only accept cash or debit card read more

i shop at this aldi store every week. yesterday i shopped there again. i bought 3 bags of sweet potatoes, which was sold at $1.47 per bag with 3 lb. among other things. when i brought my groceries home and found out that the sweet potatoes were actually 2 lb a bag! the label says 3 lb, and their weekly ad also says 3 lb. it is unbelievable that Aldi is cheating its customers! read more

Their produce quality seems to be lacking. Several times I bought produce and within 2 days it has become moldy. Also customer service it not there. Employees can't be bothered to help find items. There are always palettes blocking the way. The resin for any stars at all is the price and quality of canned/boxed goods. read more

This Aldi was clean and well stocked. With the exception of the produce. Couldn't find any carts so I had to use my own bag to do my grocery shopping. There were only 2 registers open, which made for a long wait. But, it is what it is. I was able to pick up bread and pb&j for my homeless guys for super cheap. I'll definitely start coming here. When I got to the check out. The cashier asked me when I was due. Now, I'm not pregnant nor do I look it. I had just come from the gym. But, it's a bit unprofessional for an employee to ask that question to anyone. I just looked at her and said I'm not, apparently I'm just fat today. Please people. Have some respect. Some people aren't like me and wouldn't have just laughed it off. Teach your employees to keep their comments to themselves. After carrying my heavy bag around the store and checking out. This is the only ALDI I've been to so far (almost accidentally wrote ALDO; I've been to far more of those). They have a great selection of boxed goods, with holiday-specific food items. Very large frozen food selection. Their produce actually looks and tastes really good! I'm not sure about the other ALDIs, but this one is quite small. However, it doesn't really feel cramped and I've been able to find everything. They sort of have a creative way of fitting everything in, utilizing the space they have wisely. Both times I've been here I've only come in for a few items, so I haven't had to deal with any (potential) stress of the no-bag issue. I have my own bags, though. Cashiers are friendly and quick, and have patience for the customers, who are usually neither. And of course. Like any self-respecting grocery store, they stock a few "grab 'em and go" items by the checkout. 4-packs of gum, baby. I fall for it every time! read more

First of all, my husband is from the U.K., where Aldi's has been ubiquitous and v. popular for years. His mum loves it! I used to work at TJ's, and- shhhhh- The range of food quality here quite similar. Especially the frozen. Nice variety. I've been unemployed for a bit now, and Aldi's prices have saved my life!!! Also, there is a cashier at this location named Sam. I actually enjoy seeing her! She is beyond-pleasant, personable, and always treats my situation with dignity (as I often have to leave items behind :/) Coming from TJ's, where customer service is a big deal, I am pleased to see you have a staff member that equals such expectations. read more

This Aldi has a nice parking lot, is clean, and the no carts will hit your car due to the quarter policy. Cons: they need more checkout lanes open, and they need to keep the aisles clear. This store has recently been rearranged and it's much nicer now. I wish they'd get rid of a lot of the houseware items and stock more of the food items. read more

I am a big fan of Aldi! What a great store! I like how it's small so you can do your shopping very quickly. There isn't much of a selection (for example, if you want cream of mushroom soup, there is just one brand to choose from) but we've liked everything we've tried. And you can't beat the prices! Really great prices. You have to bring your own bags but there are bags there to buy if you forget. Also, you need to bring a quarter to use a cart (you'll get it back when you return the card) but the cashiers will make change for you if you forget your quarter. The cashiers are some of the quickest around! And they always open up another line if it gets busy. Great store! Give them a try -- you won't be disappointed! read more

Today was my first day at this store and i found it pleasant. It was clean and orderly. The staff was quite nice and parking was nice without carts being all over the place. I couldn't find the kind of bread that I eat but the brands are limited. Since I basically only eat name brand food which was hardly offered, it'll be a long time before I come back. The prices are cheap (real cheap), the food is as good or better than what you will find at Giant Eagle, etc. The layout makes sense (sometimes its real busy and hard to get around other folks). The selection of food is impressive for such a small grocery. Check out is super fast. Just make sure you bring a quarter for a cart (you get it back when you return it) and some bags for the food (you have to bag it yourself... which unless you're lazy is not a big deal). I feel that most all the products are of value. What I am complaining about is how dirty and smelly the Lyndhurst, Ohio location can get. I recently stopped into this store because I did not feel like going to my usual store where I purchase groceries and because this store is near my house. I was pleasantly surprised. I found everything I was looking for and their prices are really affordable. The store was clean and well stocked. When it was time for me to check out, the cashier asked me, "did you find everything you need ok?" I can't believe the amount of money I've saved compare to the store I regularly shop at.
