Food is ok my kids like the mini asada fries. Service is horrible! Today i went and this big lady messed up my order and kept asking me the same questions over and over again she even made faces and gave me a really bad attitude i even asked my son if i was hearing correctly. Aldo's, has continued to decline even after new management, prices continue to rise but food quality continues to tank, with inconsistency between food orders, in situations where I've ordered the same meal over and over; and the quantity of food and quality vary, with the food being well distributed in the mornings to late afternoon, but any time after food service sinks and customer service sinks. I'm sure Aldo's makes enough money to fix that speaker they have at the drive thru. read more

Came by for breakfast today because I didn't want to cook. lol I placed an order for chilaquiles with al pastor, an Aldo's breakfast burrito and a pina drink (it's from the machine - not fresh.) My chilaquiles was soooooo bomb with the al pastor. I requested over medium eggs and it was PERFECTLY over medium. For whatever reason this place and another spot in Indio are the only places to get my eggs right! Anyhow, hubs loved his burrito too. Unhygienic workers, very unprofessional attitude, each worker treats you like an entitled owner of the establishment. For that price it seems like you're paying for only extra greasy food. Meat tasted like burnt. This establishment was bad with the previous owner, the only good thing his ex-wife did by taking over the business is making sure they've added condiments to the meals. Stopped by a few nights ago for a quick dinner pick up. Ordered the carnitas burrito, on the menu it says it comes with carnitas, guacamole, cheese & pico de gallo. I told the lady when I ordered no pico de gallo but it only came with carnitas nothing else, meat & tortilla. A little disappointing. Also ordered the mini carne asada fries. These are usually always good, this time they were a bit greasy. My kiddos enjoy the kids bean & cheese burrito. I took a bite it's actually really good and good portions (my 2 kiddos shared). I was also bummed because I told the lady the salsas I wanted and they placed the salsas I didn't ask for instead. The cali burrito is not what the whole world thinks of when you say you want a Cali burrito. Their version of a "cali" burrito is just a burrito with meat, rice and beans. That sounds like a regular burrito to me. When I brought it to their attention that this is not what a typical Cali burrito is (since there was no description of ingredients on the menu) I was met with so much attitude from who I presume to be the manager who said they do not know what a "typical Cali burrito is." How can you name it something that is universally known for what it is and it be something else. That is complete false advertisement and they should change the name. They wouldn't make me a new burrito and saw that I was visually frustrated they offered to put fries and cheese in it. Restaurants aren't even supposed to take food back once it crosses their counter I'm never going back. Clearly by the reviews, they won't care anyway. Aldo's used to be our go to restaurant every Friday until they started charging you to use your own money. They charge you $1 for using a credit card. I know they have to pay for the service to take credit cards, but they have already increased the prices on the food. Even though their food is very good, I will not support an establishment that charges you to use your credit card. read more

I was craving Aguachiles and was super excited to find out that Aldo has it. It was super yummy. The sauce/juice was on point. Spicy and sour. Shrimps were fresh and sweet. Good combination of cucumbers and onion. Taco servings were generous. Tripas taco was well seasoned and crispy. Carnitas meat was soft and not too salty. Chicken taco and Al pastor taco were a bit oily and salty for me. I love that there is a salsa bar. Also... employees are super friendly and attentive. If I would be able tonrate "0" stars, I would. I asked for 2 Tripa Tacos "a la plancha", I was extremely disappointed with the results. They were wayyy over "cooked" that turned out to be burnt chicharrón (see for yourself). Also the Aldo's Breakfast Burrito was disgusting, it had the overdue burnt grease taste and old bacon added to it and according to "Nancy" (shift manager), it's changed every morning around 5am (hard to believe these paisas will do that). We at the hospital have been loyal customers for years but NEVER again. Lost good business with us. My recommendation to you Aldo would be: check on your staff more often (too many attitudes & not very friendly) your business & over all and the QUALITY of your products so you'd have customers feel and WANT to return to your restaurant. Experiences like this make us regret we even invested in your business. It's such a shame of the outcome. Being reimbursed for the burrito and NOT the tacos was a wrong move after providing evidence. Wife wanted to eat here for her birthday dinner I was very disappointed I ordered the #4 it was very salty to a point I could only eat the rice and beans was only able to take a couple of bites of taco that was covered in very salty enchilada sauce taco was covered by the time I got home taco shell was mushy took one bite of enchiladas and couldn't eat any more was just to salty had to go back out to McDonald's for food $40 for salty food never again please stop making food so salty please it will some time before I visit you again read more

Ordered carne asada fries- no flavor just salt, the guacamole is watery and the meat is seriously salty. Tasted very oily and wasn't good quality. Chimichanga burrito- it was okay. Smothered in sauce and cheese. I got the plate with rice and beans and the beans didn't even taste like beans, it tasted like salty mash. Everything was extremely salty. We used to love to come here for the carne asada fries and tortas but the quality of food has gone down hill. The pastor doesn't taste like pastor. It's also really expensive. Shocked to see all the nit picking on here! We recently moved from the OC and finding good mexican food has been a struggle. I have nothing but good to say about this place. So far we have ordered tacos, burritos, quesadillas, chimichangas, nachos and all i can say is this place has CONSISTENCY! Yes the drive thru line gets long at times but they keep it moving. You pay and park and wait for ur food to be brought out. We've never waited more than 10min and I dont mind the wait for a hot plate of good food honestly....Better than stale fries from other fast food restaurants. Flavor is on point, ahem...asada is not salty! We always get a plain asada taco for our kid and no issue there. Btw the tacos, all of them, are massive, double tortilla with huge portion, we can make 2 tacos out of each! The tripa is super CRUNCHY, the cabeza meat is tender, the asada well its asada! Staff is polite- and working in a fast paced restaurant is stressful- give them some grace for crying out loud! If u are in a rush then its not the place for you. But find out the slow times and pull up, its worth it! Having worked in fast food before, i try to be understanding. It was shocking to have experienced such awful food. There's only been a handful of times in my life where I've thought "wow, this is really bad", and this was one of them. It was expensive (especially for not being edible). The chicken was the kind you get already cooked at the store in the Aldos bowl(not the same chicken in the tacos). I was honestly afraid to eat any of it after just seeing it. I decided to split my sons bean burrito with him Bc how can that hurt? But, it was full of a thick, odd cheese. Hardly any beans. Stopped in at the Ace Hardware store across the lot, and asked them for a good Mexican place for lunch. They highly recommended Aldo's. I walked over, ordered a Steak taco, and an Aldo bowl with chicken. The taco was huge. Tasted great, no chopped beef, all sliced steak. The Aldo bowl is off the hook! Chicken is seldom served perfectly, and this stuff was absolutely perfect. It melted in your mouth. I can't recall of any place I've been with grilled chicken was done as well. The Aldo bowl contained generous portions of rice, beans, chopped tomatoes, cheddar and asiago cheese, the gorgeous chicken, half a sliced avocado. It was heaven!
