Monday, July 6, 2026 I usually work out in San Bernardino but today I was in Indio doing some contract security. As I'm on the freeway going to San Bernardino I get the call to go to Indio. I'm thinking, man I didn't even bring my lunch. I have no idea what's in Indio other than it being scorching hot! So I get to the spot where I'm working. I start looking online. I get to Andy's burgers #4. Now any place that has a number after it has to be good. Where I live it's Tams burgers. So at first I look at the menu I want to get a double bacon cheeseburger then as I pulled up, I saw burritos from 14 dollars, then I saw a beef burrito for 8.99. Heck with that price I'll get 2. I asked a nice lady on the other end of the loudspeaker what comes in the beef burrito she said ground beef beans, pico de gallo, lettuce, and cheese. That was a perfect combination. I I pull up to the window. She has me two good size burritos. Let me let me jump back a little bit. I drop my card and she said don't worry about it. I'll come by and pick it up. I said no no I got it, gave her my card. She gave me the burritos. She asked me if I wanted fresh salsa or the packets. I said what are the packets she said del Sol, I asked what is the fresh red or green? She said red, I said I'll take the fresh. I was on my way back to the spot where I can eat. I took a bite into the burrito , put some red salsa on it , Flavor for Sure!! The picture below only has one burrito because I literally just smashed the first one for my lunch. I highly recommend Andy's. I can only imagine what other flavor bomb items are on the menu. Looks like I don't mind coming to Indy to work anymore. Once you walk in, you are greeted by staff. The inside is very modern and clean. The menu has abundance of options. The one that caught my eye, was the bacon and jalapeño melt and the banana date shake. There are other things that I wanted to try, but hopefully I'll get another chance to come up here. If you need to use the bathroom you need to ask an employee for the key in the bathroom is outside the restaurant around the corner pass the drive-thru. I don't know what it is lately but I've been getting mid-level food all over the damn place. While visiting Indio, we decided to get some burgers and fries and keep it simple that night so we checked the spot out hoping for the best. The burger was decent nothing special Just a standard issue double bacon cheeseburger no frills no thrills. My wife got the fried zucchini, which was decent at best like I said nothing special just your regular old zucchini. My son had a burger combo and it was decent. At the crossroads, more of a T junction in reality, where the 111 terminates into Highway 86,that's where you'll find this local favorite. The parking lot is s little tricky, but there's a drive-thru and more parking deeper in the lot. Inside, the decor is reminiscent of 1950s Streamline with lots of shiny and tooled metal surfaces, old pictures and artwork. The menu is surprisingly expensive as well, which promises many variables for future visits. The prices are also wallet friendly, so if I lived closer, I'd likely never go to a fast-food place again. I selected the chili burger option with onion rings. My buddy got the Ortega burger and we grabbed a booth after ordering. The food arrived pretty quickly and exactly as we ordered. I especially enjoyed the onion rings, which are hand cut and battered. Little touches like that carry a long way. The burger was also great tasting and for the price, a QPR winner. I also enjoyed the lady who took our order and delivered the food. Friendly, informative, it made us feel welcome despite only being visitors. Fantastic! Worst Chili Burger I've ever had. They really should take this off the menu as they have no idea what a Chili Burger is.

Went to this place and ordered a Taco Salad, Onion Rings and Fried Zucchini. They were all awesome especially the Zucchini. The Zucchini pieces were totally covered with batter, long and crunchy keeping their shape even after dipping! The order was large enough to fill me up. Loved them. Went back the next week and ordered Onion Rings and those Awesome Fried Zucchini again. The Zucchini was different, different batter, soggy and only small pieces. Fell apart while dipping and left me hungry...but not for this Zucchini... I won't eat it again. Won't be dining at Andy's #4 again till they bring it back! The Zucchini is the reason I returned. We found this gem while traveling thru Palm Springs, thanks yelpers. Our initial visit was 2 years ago when we made a stop to rest and walk our fur babies on our roadtrip. Wow... I've never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant. From the second we walked in, the staff stared at us like we'd committed a crime. The employees stared at us the entire time we were there--while walking in, ordering, and even waiting for our food. It made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable. Totally unwelcoming. Came for the food, stayed for the judgmental stares--apparently hospitality isn't on the menu. Not a single smile, just constant, judgmental glares while we ordered and waited for our food. Went to breakfast for the first time at this place and it's a small lil mom and pop place! The service was amazing and the food came out hot and fresh and fast! I ordered the southwest omelette and it was so big it could have easily feed two people! It was a lil loud but it added to the ambience of the whole mom and pop breakfast spot and made the experience that much better!
