I called, let them know when I was moving and the size of my house, whether there were stairs or particularly heavy things and I received a quote. If the approximately 8 quotes I got for my move, Mike the Mover was the most competitively priced in this area. When I was ready to reserve they just needed my email and phone number, pickup and drop off address and we were all set to go - no deposit required. A team of three guys did my move and they were great! Aleksie kept me updated as to his eta and once he and his team arrived, they quickly loaded the moving truck (about 1.5 hours) and unloaded at my new house (1 hour + drive time) so the entire process was about 3 hours in total. None of my items were damaged and the team took great care with wrapping my furniture to avoid scrapes or damage. I would definitely hire them again!

Best moving experience!!…read more It was our first time moving experience and thank goodness everything ended up pretty well. All thanks to Flex movers and their team members, they were excellent. I found this service on yelp (Thanks to yelp). I initially filtered three other services and among all of them, flex was the only company that quoted nominal moving price, $104 per hour cash or $114 per hour credit for two movers and a truck. Most importantly, flex was the only company to give an appointment in a very short notice. Really appreciate their welcoming and accommodating service. Truck, gas, mileage from pick up to drop off location, blankets, free use of wardrobe boxes and unlimited tape and shrink wrap are all included in their service. We initially expected moving duration to be 4 hours but eventually it doubled and took 8 hours. We surely underestimated our items(ha ha!). We wanted them to set up our bed frames and few other furnitures at our new home on the same day. So altogether these became added reasons for the delay. Both movers patiently wrapped all our items, without any damage and didn't complain anything about the delay and rather helped us to a great extent, not minding to work until midnight. As we started moving only in the evening, work got extended until midnight and we (the hubby and me) were stressed and worried about it. But, big thanks to the two of them, who literally managed the work load of 3 to 4 people quite well and to again mention, with no complaints from their end at all. Overall, our experience exceeded our expectations and the service was prompt, non-interrupted, extremely helpful and understanding. The move was not even completed! 1/4 of our belongings are still at the old house. We have been going rounds with customer service. Defend, deny and delay. They took a page out of UHC's book. My husband and I are excellent packers so when the crew (usually just two guys) shows up we are ready to start moving boxes to the truck. We carry a lot of the boxes, ourselves to speed up the process and reduce our costs due to hourly pricing. I think the price for this company is pretty hard to beat and we've had a really good experience every time with no damage to any of our belongings.
