Cesar and his team were great to work with! He gave us a free walk through and got us a quote by the end of the day. He also delivered boxes to us that were supposed to be recycled so we wouldn't have to buy any new ones. They were flexible with changing dates from Monday to Wednesday to accommodate our work schedules. When they arrived to our new house, they covered the carpets so that they would be protected during the move. All of our furniture was nicely wrapped and arrived intact. We recently used CA Movers to move from Almaden to the Mountains. My move date kept getting pushed out due to reasons outside my control, and while this made me uncomfortable given I had already arranged everything, including the movers, Cesar always assured me he could make it work. He even reached out checking in with me first to see if he could give away a certain date to someone else while we waited to know our official move date. In the end, I was only able to give him 1 day notice to move our 4 bedroom house. Cesar and his team accommodated us and delivered excellent service to our family. They were quick and efficient. They took apart our furniture and put it back together with care. They were communicative in asking where to put our things so they weren't scattered. And they were cautious with our dogs - not letting them out while they maneuvered through each room. Though other reviews mention the language barrier, I didn't find it to be troublesome. The team members that didn't speak English well communicated to me through their phone/translator and/or went through other team members to get the message across. I had a family emergency and needed to move within a week. I contacted CA Movers and got a quote right away from them. Cesar and his crew packed up everything including an expensive piano, dresser and a very heavy, large safe. There was not a scratch on the floor, walls, or stairs. Cesar is the owner of the company. There were 3 movers (Cesar, Juan, and Andres) and they did the whole job within 4 hours. Loaded the truck, properly packed whatever was not done properly by ServPro, waited for me to take photos of everything prior to loading the items into the 26-foot moving truck. They were extremely careful and pointed out some damage even before loading (3 lamps and sofa).  That is the main reason why I hired them as a company. For their unbiased professionalism. At my house they washed their hands constantly every time they had to unwrap and assemble furniture. They were very professional, affordable, and polite. Imagine, you've spent the week scrambling to pack all your belongings into boxes. You've made arrangements with your landlord, new house, neighbors, work, cars, and block off the day. I guess theres a lot riding on a smooth move. Our window was between 12pm and 2pm. I already paid $100 deposit and communicated several times, so didn't feel like I should bother the office until 1:45pm. Spoke to Olga, she sounded a bit surprised. Queue the first bad feeling. She said she'd call right back. 20 minutes later, no returned call. I call and she says movers will be there at 4pm. I'm still calm. Things happen. But ask if operations guy (Nick) could give me a call back. You can guess where this is going... 3:45pm. No word, no movers. I call again and she says they're on their way. At 5pm I let Olga know I'm less than impressed. She says I'll need to make a claim if I want the $100 deposit back, but it would take 30 days. Honestly, if they just said from the beginning, "hey, we fucked up, you're not on the schedule. We're sorry." Great! Instead they wasted our entire day and all time to coordinate the moving pieces. I just found a "CA Movers Inc" on Yelp -it's the same company- and all 1-star reviews for no-show's. They also advertise they are BBB accredited (they have an F rating). If this is their $100 hustle, maybe it's the best thing they have going, cause they're honestly too bush league to operate a legit business. read more

A number of experienced employees from MC switched over to CA to help establish the business, so you can trust that movers at CA know what they are doing. I called MC to request a quote and was directed to CA who was running an introductory promotion. With the more affordable price, I decided to try out CA. Come moving day, 3 men came a bit early with a 26' truck, loaded everything up, moved all the items to my new location, and moved all the furniture and boxes into my new apartment. No damage to anything as far as I can see. Not much else to say here - the best move is one where there are no surprises. Some of the men did not speak English very well, but everyone was professional, friendly, careful and got the job done quickly. Compared with some other moving services I've used in the past, the men always seemed to be working hard the entire time without taking any noticeable breaks. My Wife and I recently hired CA Movers LLC to make a big move from San Jose, Ca to Reno, NV. Both my wife and I are in our early 60s so we needed someone to come to our Apartment, review everything we had, and give me a quote on not only moving it, but also packing everything. I knew that it would cost a bit more then us renting a U-Haul and doing it ourselves, but with our work schedules and all, there was no time for us to really pack up everything, so we called in the Professionals. Cesar came and did the walk-thru, and gave us a quote, as did 2 other moving companies. We went with CA Movers LLC only because we felt that this person and his company would do the job we needed, when we needed it done, and do the same on the other end when we received it. On August 17th at 8am right on time, Cesar and his crew showed up to our apartment and started their work of packing and moving. My wife and I stayed out of their way and stayed on the back patio drinking coffee and watching. I was amazed that by 11am everything was packed-up and moved into the trailer that was provided by CA Movers LLC to transport our belonging. We spent the rest of that day and the next cleaning, and on Friday Aug 19th I loaded our car with the essential items we needed, including our Cat and headed for Reno where we spent the night in a pet friendly hotel. Saturday morning Aug 20th at 11am was the date and time the our trailer was due to arrive. And right on the dot, our trailer appeared in-front of our new much bigger 2 bedroom apartment in Reno, NV. Cesar let me know that there was a slight problem with his crew, they had a flat tire and were waiting on AAA to arrive, but he said that wasn't a issue with our things and that he would begin to unload and move our belongings into our new place, and that was with only him and a female traveler, which I believe was his wife. I think it was about 2pm when they were done moving everything in, setting everything up and were packed-up and headed back to the Bay Area by 3pm. Again, this was only done by 2 people. By the time his crew called and let Cesar know they were on the way, Cesar let them know the job was done. Over the next 2 days my wife and I opened boxes and put away clothes, silverware, dishes and such. I want to point out that Not 1 Item we had was Lost or Broken, this is an AMAZING Company.
