Overall a great experience at Alecomfe. We went on a Wednesday morning, it was quite and extremely clean inside. The person taking care of us seemed to be the owner and was very kind and friendly helping us through the options. We enjoyed the coxinha to start followed by a couple lunch plates (chicken/carne and linguica/chicken) then an acai bowl to finish. Portions were great with plenty of options, we will be back soon for sure!

We walked in close to closing time and we were still very well received! The food was very good and fresh ! Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming ! We would definitely recommend this place !

You don't know anyone's background to be laughing at someone just because they don't speak your language. Just because you assumed since I look Spanish I'm Spanish. Mind you this is a restaurant you're not only going to get Spanish people. If you want your business to succeed you need to have all different kinds of nationalities come to your restaurant. Don't forget why you guys got shut down the first place and honestly I don't even think you guys should be open.

CHICKEN STEW 9/10 CHICKEN PASTELITOS 8/10 BEEF PASTELITOS 7.5/10 RICE + BEANS 10/10 POTATO SALAD 8.5/10 i also recommend their breakfast plates, their eggs + yucca are a perfect start to the day. I stopped by Punta Cana Dominican Grill curious to try something new. I asked to switch out my…read morewhite rice for yellow, which they did -- and while I was disappointed they forgot my beans, I still gave it a fair try. The yellow rice was fluffy and filling, and the yuca fries were actually a standout -- golden, crispy, and really satisfying. The salad, however, came with no dressing, and the chicken definitely didn't match the saucy, glistening version I saw in their online photos. Mine was a bit drier and missing that visual punch. All in all, it wasn't bad! I wouldn't tell anyone to skip it -- it's worth a taste if you're nearby and in the mood for Dominican food. I have a feeling there are other items on the menu I might enjoy more, so I'd give it another shot with different picks next time.

You can really tell they take their time and care with the food--everything was cooked properly, and I especially appreciated that the pork belly chunks were completely cleaned and shaved. That's usually a major turnoff for me elsewhere, so it definitely earned extra points here. The only thing that could be seen as a downside is the price. The Mofongo was $30, which is on the higher side. That said, the portion size, sides, and overall quality absolutely justified the price in my opinion. I'm happy to go back and try more dishes. Best of luck to the new owners, my family and I enjoyed your food very much!

April 17, 2026 I…read morewent with my parents tonight to the Adriatic Restaurant (Washington Street), Salem, MA. We've started having dinner out twice a month and this was the most recent experience. I had gone online to the NORTH SHORE DINNING PAGE on Facebook and asked people about their experiences with the restaurant in the last two days and here's what people said: "great, tender meatballs", "great eggplant parmigiana", "very good experience". .... And what we found out is that they were right. Those things were all true! Now.... As to what we ordered: I got the grilled octopus. It was the only partial miss on the menu. Arugula just doesn't make a very good sauce and it was a pretty bad base for what would otherwise might have been a great appetizer. My mother got the Caesar salad. It was good. It's a hard thing to screw up. My father ordered the meatballs. They were amazing and delicious - just like Facebook promised. The tzatziki sauce was good. Maybe not as good as mine, but good nonetheless. So dinner.... Mine was the Chicken Saltimboca. It was so good that I'd bathe in the sauce they make with it. I loved eating forkfuls of the chicken with bites of the mashed potatoes. That was really luxuriant. My mother had the Eggplant parmigiana and she wiped out the entire plate. She loved it. My father.... Beef tenderloin tips. Maybe cooked slightly too much, but delicious. He wiped out the plate. To drink.... I was out of the hospital and recovering from brain tumor surgery, so I had the hard cider (3.5% BV), my father had the Peroni (Italian) beer, and my mother had the Bud light. I tasted the Peroni and liked it very much. The hard cider had almost no sweetness to it. It was dry as a higher end brut champagne.... Which actually set off the meal really nicely. My tastes weren't clashing and that was good. Our waiter, Sean, was great. Ask for him! We left a $32 tip, so the bill came to $197.85

When I went to pay, the price was wrong and I still had to pay! It costs $28 to eat as much as you want, but if you can pay by weight, too. In my case, my heavy meal cost $37. Normally, when it costs more than $27, they only charge $27 because it doesn't make sense. Well, the woman charged me $37. When I saw this, I questioned her. She told me that she couldn't give me my money back because it had already been charged on the computer! In other words, they stole it! I don't recommend anyone to go to this establishment! It's horrible, everything is really bad! I recommend you go to Alma Gaúcha!

The owner was at the cashier, he said it was fine, I asked again if they would charge differently and he said NO, so I went ahead and paid for my food. The guy(owner)looks like a scammer, I don't know why I didn't check sooner but when I got home I had a bad feeling and when I looked at the receipt, I found out he robbed me by overcharging. So I weighted my food in my scale and it was way less than what I paid for, the owner put a heavy plate under my containers but didn't reset the scale to make it heavy. What really got me is that he kept lying straight to my face, I asked multiple times. I felt so horrible that I lost my appetite and threw away most of my food
