Pico pollo 5 pieces of fried chicken bone in

Service was great, waitress was sweet and attentive. Ate outside, nice music, good lighting, but tables are a little small. Food took slightly longer than other places but it was outstanding!! Oxtail was falling off the bone, nice portions of food, amazing flavor. Fried chicken was well seasoned, crispy, and juicy. Highly recommend!

Went with a large group from work. Everyone enjoyed their selection from the menu including mofongo, grilled meats and fish.

And we interacted with neighboring tables on both sides to recommend (when asked) the oysters, and when one received a drink with a big smoke bubble that created a magical flow of smoke when it burst. French inspired drinks and food were fantastic and interesting. The French 75 menu was so interesting-- choose your flavor and your bubbles. I tried two, the classic with rosé was so pretty, and the honey lavender with base level champagne was delicious. The raw oysters were to die for! Perfect little pop of acidity with other flavors delicately added and perfectly balanced. The oysters Rockefeller were also perfectly delicious. The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

The place has the feel of a local neighborhood pub which has finished wood walls, flooring, & ceiling. There is seating at the full service bar, table seating along the walls, pool table in the back, a musician/karaoke stage in the front corner and TVs throughout the room. There is a patio area out back. They offer nightly entertainment such as DJs, karaoke (Tue), trivia (Wed), and live music. The food menu offers pub fare including appetizers, wings, chips & dips, salads, burger/sandwich plates, quesadillas, tacos, chicken & waffles, pasta, steaks, and desserts. The prices are moderate. The bar offers 12 beers on draft, beer bottles/cans, wine, cocktails & mixed drinks. I stopped by Fonzi's for dinner very recently. I sat up at the bar for prompt service. I got an ice water as I looked over the menu. For an appetizer, the Fried Raviolis ($12 plus tax) had 6 good size fried breaded raviolis filled with cheese including ricotta & seasoning) over a zesty marinara sauce. For dinner, the Basic Bit*h Burger ($18 plus tax) had a thick grilled beef patty with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, & pickle chips on a thick kaiser bun. The fries were lightly fried and very hot. Both the fried raviolis and thick juicy burger were very good and fries were decent. After I was done, I got the check with Upserve QR code, which was $32.10 with tax and before tip. I was able to pay the check on my phone, as the place was getting busier around 6:30 pm. The service was prompt sitting at the bar and I was able to watch some sports highlights on the TV. I would definitely come back here to try other food on their menu like the coconut shrimp, tacos, and cheese tortellini gratinati with chicken.

Somehow they manage to make it feel both healthy and a little decadent. We also love the flatbreads and deserts, and the chicken sandwich and burgers have been great as well - really can't miss. The only thing really missing is a few more solid vegetarian protein options - it would be wonderful to be able to get a grilled tofu steak on that Asian Quinoa Salad. Service is fantastic - you enter from the patio side (steps up front and ramp along back of the patio). These guys are well and professionally staffed and we've always been met and seated quickly. All of our servers have been knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. They have regular tables, high tops, bar seating and outdoor tables. There are dedicated water bowls for anyone who brings a pup (outdoors only) and the dogs I've seen have been well behaved and adorable. We've never brought our dog, but he's still greeted and admired by staff as we pass by on a walk. That really says all you need to know about the wonderful people. Parking is in the lot right out front surrounding the small High Street courtyard or on the street. The dining patio overlooks that same courtyard. All in all a great combination of good food and a nice but casual atmosphere.

Ironically, I have been very hesitant about visiting Italian places since moving to Boston. Despite…read morehaving quite a vibrant Italian food scene, especially towards the North End, most of my visits to Italian establishments have proven to be a disappointment. One would feel like Nona's tired or Nona doesn't want to feed you or Nona doesn't want to have anything to do with you. Obviously, that's not what ANY good Nonas ever do since they want you to have the very best. So one may ask what's truly going on? Is it the same issue with other cuisines where the food quality is not properly preserved or because there is no standard to uphold anymore? It reminds me of someone who once said to me that those who care deeply about any cuisine have moved on to NYC and other food-centric areas. All that's left are those who send out food to customers who either don't know or don't care. Perhaps, there is some thinly veiled truth to this statement. I've been acquainted with Chef Nimesh for a few years and know his deep passion for Italian food. In prior locations where he was based, there were always limitations to how much he was allowed to express his art and understanding of the cuisine. So while he was throttled over there, here in Andover after taking over a dying business, I'm able to witness just how good his expression of Italian food is. Every dish I ordered tonight were things I knew he was particularly passionate about. Yes, the whole menu is well designed...but I'm talking about things I knew he would choose to serve in particular until the world ends. Signature dishes on his take of Italian cuisine. I loved every bite. I truly savored and enjoyed it. So much so that I'm willing to just make the drive up to Andover just for a meal any given day. Mind you, the place is well designed, clean, and upscale. You can thank his business partner, FOH extraordinaire for bringing that side to life. The staff working here are great and the wine selection is immaculate. You will definitely enjoy your visit here. Absolutely recommend this spot for anyone wanting a great and non-pretentious Italian food experience!

Bad start. Waited 15 minutes for someone to finally bring us WATER. Saw multiple waitresses pass by and no one filled them as we waited. Got some bread at the table finally, nothing special. Honestly, none of the food (2 appetizers , 2 pasta dishes) were anything special. The service was sub par. So for the prices and the high rating, I think this place missed the mark. For the prices they're charging definitely cannot recommend.
