Service was horrible. Can't communicate with no one over there unless you speak Spanish. The food is not that good. I wouldn't recommend it.

I ordered one of the seafood mofongos with mini clams, shrimp, scallops, mussels and squid. The dish was perfectly seasoned, buttery. I felt like I got a lot of seafood for what I paid. The seafood was fresh. The portions are huge. I ate the other half of the dish for leftovers and devoured it. The service was great. I would go back to the restaurant when I go back to Lynn someday. read more

Wow... great dinner tonight at Café El Molino, in Lynn. I enjoyed the mofongo --- churrascofongo churrasco steak ... delicious !. Others had the mofongo with salmon, and with lobster. The music ( a bit on the high energy side) and setting is right out of Santo Domingo, Cold Presidente beer is the perfect accompaniment. Entrees are in the $15 to $20 range for delicious, authentic Dominican cuisine. Portions are large. If you crave plantains, and especially prepared mashed as a mofongo, you will be pleased. So glad I decided to stop here for dinner! The food was amazing!! We did wait around 45 minutes for our food to come, but it was worth the wait. Food is a little pricey, but again I think it's worth it. Our server only spoke Spanish so there was a language barrier between us, but she was also amazing. The ambiance is very authentic. went to this restaurant on Sunday (4/2/23) with family and friends (total of 7 of us). from the moment we got there it was awkward. the music was extremely loud. we were sitting across each other and were not able to have a conversation. The waitress fro the time we told her we were going to split the tab she gave us attitude. we place our order and the food came about 45 minutes after ordering but one plate at a time. as a group we were not able to eat, but rather individually. the waitress had the audacity to add an automatic 18% gratuity. the food was not bad but the service was awful read more

Don't let the description fool you this is by far an Amazing DOMINICAN Resturant, Bar, Night Club all in one you can come here on any given night for Music and or Food from rice and beans, to sea food to the classic mofongo. I have been working my way thru the menu and the steak with onions very tender, monfongo has just enough garlic in it not over powering like most places I have been to. The fish is crisp and flaky. I have enjoyed dancing her and cocktails some nights other nights the Karaoke has been entertaining. The music is loud at times when slow. Not a problem you can just ask them to turn it down. They are extremely accommodating. 1 Major thing you should know is the Drinks are made Strong so they definitely don't skim on that. Plenty of staff and the Chef is great. My husband and I decided to try this local place out for a late night dinner. This place was a ghost town when we went, probably because of it was 830pm mid week. We have heard great things about their night life but wanted to get a taste for the Dominican cuisine they have to offer. I ordered the chicken and beef soup and he ordered the steak and onions. Both of which were good but were missing something. (Sorry no pix) The steak and onions were OK, it had peppers and no onions. Also, keep in mind their meals DO NOT come with rice. Dominicans are known for their moro aka yellow rice with beans or meat- probably the biggest disappointment. After ordering my server told me that the soup would take a little longer than anticipated and that they would make it from scratch. I was okay with the wait as I really wanted soup and figured a freshly made soup would be amazing! We decided we wanted to order some appetizers while waiting for the food to come out. To my disappointment their apps were limited to what I could remember: onion rings, chicken wings, chicken fingers and shrimp cocktail. I was expecting empanadas, tostones or something authentic. My recommendation to the owners add more authenic options and change the easy, frozen foods to a "kids" menu option. If menu improvements are done I wouldn't mind giving them another try. read more

Extremely bad service! Don't expect friendly banter, a smile, a thank you, or getting checked up on. When I walked into the restaurant the hostess just stared at me and did not even approach me, I had to walk over to her and ask to be seated. Later she dropped off my food at the table without saying a word and walk away. She never checked on me till it was time to go. One thing they are good at is making you feel unwelcomed. I had the rice and beans with steak. The rice was good but the bean was 10% beans solids and 90% broth. The steak consisted of 25% cartilage and tendons that I spend most of the time spitting out onto a napkin. Don't waste you time and money here. read more

Should you be intimidated by its unwelcoming exterior... eh maybe a little. This Colombian restaurant/bar is extremely welcoming though, even to a gringo like myself. It is baffling the amount of staff they have here on any given night, which seems to be all female. I've never had the food here but the drinks are fine and the staff is extremely nice. However for some reason they constantly blast the music here even when it is a slow night. read more

I ordered a churrasco and it was the nastiest piece of steak I have ever tasted. I only gave it one bite it had no flavor at all and it feel like chewing a piece of rubber. My fiancé ordered a mofongo and it didn't bring chicharrón inside (it was o right) I have gone to a lot of restaurants all over and if you are not satisfied or didn't like with the food you return it and would not get change. But no they still charge us, I asked the waitress and she went to ask the cook about it. (not even a manager) She came back and told me you order it you have to pay for it and to top thing of insects flying on top of the food. Horrible read more
