I'd give this even more stars if it were possible! I'm a Weston native but have been traveling around the country for about 4-6 yrs now and have YET to find the perfect hair stylist - UNTIL NOW! Alejandro Jr is amazing! I have normally straight medium thickness and long dark hair in layers with side bangs - let me just say, the layers came out beautifully and he cut my side bangs perfectly (which has been the most difficulty thing to find.) I'm so glad to have found a great stylist right here in Weston! Aside from his skills; the salon staff is extremely nice and make you feel welcome. I purchased a groupon for $70 for hair cut and highlights. I was assigned to a brand new stylist without any supervision. Hair was cut very uneven hard and to tell hair was highlighted. When friends noticed they said I should go back and tell the owner, I really did not want to get the stylist in trouble. I finally got the nerve up to call was given an appointment to remedy the uneven. 2 minutes later they called me back saying I would have to pay to fix the uneven as it had been over 3 weeks. I was not looking for a new hair cut just to fix the uneveness, 10 minutes to fix. I would never recommend this salon for anything. Unacceptable customer service! read more

The service and experience was amazing. I did a Keratin and it came out amazing. I got a haircut as well from Alejandro himself, and it was amazing he did a very good job, the only thing is, I was told my haircut would be $50. Which that is fine, but when I went to pay I had to pay $80... They charged me $30 for a blow dry.. which In my opinion should have been included in the haircut, needless to say, I will not be getting a haircut here again. I am absolutely ENRAGED with the customer service at this salon!! I may not go to this salon as often as other clients do but for the past four haircuts I have gotten,they have all been with Alejandro and they have ALWAYS made me wait incredibly long. This time however, just crossed the line for me! I went to get a haircut yesterday afternoon with Alejandro (the manager) after making an appointment at 400 with him. I got to the salon to get my nails painted at 330 and by the time they finished with my nails, he was still cutting another woman's hair. They sat me down and told me to wait to get a hair wash. After some time of waiting, they lead me to the hair washing chair and left me there for about 20 min waiting! It wasn't until I spoke out that I had been sitting there for that long that some lady came and started washing my hair. Then they led me to the hair cutting chair and said Alejandro would be out of his office in just a bit. I waited, another twenty minutes went by, and after many people went to knock on his office door, he finally came out. BUT to my surprise, he was extremely mad! He told his staff not to EVER knock on his door again, even after they told him they had knocked because I had been waiting for a while (a WHILE is an UNDERSTATEMENT!) He then proceeded to barge out of the salon (such lack of professionalism!) and left me there, waiting once again! His staff ignored me, they didn't even apologize for him leaving like that. About another 20 minutes passed by before I asked if he was coming back, because no one said anything to me. He eventually showed up and cut my hair. And as soon as he was finished with my haircut, he immediately moved on to another client that clearly hadn't been waiting for that long. I told him I wanted to cut it a little shorter and his reply: "If you want me to do that, you're going to have to wait (bc he had already moved on to his other client)." How dare he! After all the time I waited for him, he was going to make me wait even longer? I'm sorry, but if I'm the one PAYING for a service, I expect to get treated with RESPECT and CONSIDERATION! They didn't do either at this salon. I NEVER received an apology from ANYONE, not even Alejandro the entire time I was there. And I left, without saying anything because I was too upset and in too much of a hurry to talk to their inconsiderate staff. I ended up leaving the salon at 600 o'clock. The service at this salon is ridiculous. Alejandro may be a great hair cutter, but that will never justify his and his staff's inconsideration with clients. My time is just as precious as his and their service is truly disrespectful and unfair. They just lost a client, and I will NEVER again recommend this place to anyone (which I have MANY times in the past). read more

After raving about all the reviews, I guess I'm the black sheep because nothing went right. Got in around 3 pm and walked out at 9 p.m. I explained to the young hairstylist exactly how I wanted my hair. I want the same color hightlights but thicker highlights. I expressed my concern about horrible experiences and she assured me all was going to be fine. Well was she wrong! After my putting on my hightlights, she said I will come often to check in on you. after maybe 20 min, I started to panick. I called over another hair stylist, she went lookiing for her after like what seemed forever, she found my girl, eating lunch in the back. My girl was nonchalant, despite the horrid look on my face. she checked my hair, alls good, dont worry she said and disappeared again. finally about 10 min later, she returned, when she washed off the hightlights my streaks were bleach blonde! she used a toner, apparently, way too too dark because then my highlights were brown. I told her I wanted them lighter that they were not light enough. she said it will look different when your hair is dried. I didn't believe her but I said ok. she dried the top front and I said, nope, my hightlights are too brown now. She said she will fix it and redo the highlights around my face lighter. I expressed my concern with all these chemicals but she swore she want going to put on some protectant. I tried to be patient, but I was a WRECK! I wanted to run run run! so there I went again, getting highlights, possibly destroying every last strand on my head I didn't know what else to do. Once she was done 6 hours later, I It looked ok in the salon because they must have some "magic" light but the next day in the sunlight I saw I had highlights every diffferent color. My one regret was not going w/ my gut, I didn't have a good feeling w/this girl from the start. What's worse is that NOT ONE person from management came to me to ask what the problem was. In fact, throughout the 2nd highlight process, she was asking other stylists on what to do!!! I tipped her because I saw she sincerely felt bad and was trying her best, however, I will never ever ever step foot in Alejandro's salon! If Alejandro or his management had checked in on me once during the entire 6 hours I was there I may have given them another chance. They lost out on a good client because I spend tons of money at salons. I am going to post this on Couptessa, I had a coupon from them. Your bad Alejandro! read more

I went to this salon with great expectations as they were some raving reviews on yelp. I got a good deal on groupon and thought why not try it out since I live in weston. My stylist was a very sweet woman but I was extremely disappointed with the outcome of how my highlights turned out. It was my first time getting full highlights and I wanted a dark burgundy shade instead my stylist recommended to do caramel color which I had as an ombre before so I trusted her to do the work since she is a stylist and I would expect her to know what's best. By the time I got out of the salon it was close to 9'o clock at night and I couldn't really see much. I wasn't in love with my color or cut. I am not usually the one to complain about things but its my hair after spending close to 200 dollars it should look close to perfection. On top of purchasing the groupon for 99 dollars for full highlights they charged me extra for other things and the total came up to about 200. All of you out their buying the deals make sure you ask them for the total price. Expecting great customer service I called the salon back the next day and they said they could try to fix it but it will be more..More for what?? I already paid close to 200 and you want more?? I already paid in full for the service so if one of your stylist made the mistake they should fix it without charge. I usually never go to these fancy places because first of all they overcharge and the outcomes is not equivalent to what you paying for. I never returned back and I never will and I def won't recommend this place to anyone unless you know a stylist their personally maybe the owner or his son I am not sure. Since you are not willing to fix you mistake I am not pleased at all with your customer service at this salon. If you want happy customers after charging a arm & a leg make sure you are providing service equivalent to what you are charging your clients. Guess I will be the second black sheep in rating this salon. I found the salon through a Groupon discount for body wraps. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Luz - she was very professional and I would strongly recommend her for wraps, facials, etc. I then made a really big mistake and decided to try the salon's other services and booked appointments for myself and my mother for updos,makeup, etc., for an upcoming Saturday. I explained that we were going to a family wedding and that we needed to be attended to on a timely basis so that we would not miss the event. I arrived on time on the Saturday morning and had a facial with Luz, which was wonderful. My next appointment would have been for my updo with Maria Isabel. She seemed to be totally preoccupied with another customer. With no explanation, I was shuffled over to Alejandro, who made a big to do about how he was going to do my hair, how great it was going to look - elegant, blah, blah, blah. My hair was washed and he blew it out and put it up in pin curls. I was put under the dryer. I was then taken back for makeup application which turned out nicely. Then comes the big moment when it is time to actually do my updo. I am taken over to the chair next to Alejandro's and another operator starts taking out my pincurls. She then proceeds to move my hair around in a desperate attempt to determine what to do with it. Every once in a while I catch her looking in Alejandro's direction, who of course is busy with another customer. After about 20 minutes of this, he finally comes over and instructs the poor young woman on what she needs to do with my hair. At this point, I start looking at my watch as it is getting close to the time I was supposed to have been finished and on my way. I could go on, but let's just say that eventually he made his way over to me and started doing my hair, as the poor young woman had not done a thing! When all was said and done, the simple French twist which I had asked for and he had agreed to do, became a lop-sided one, with a big gaping hole on the top left side of my head. Understand, there is no lack of hair to work with. There is one thing I need to thank God for, and that is that he has blessed me with a full head of hair! Anyway, after much fussing and trying to correct the situation, the brilliant Alejandro decides the solution is to stick a huge black cloth flower in my head!!! People - I am not anything if understated in my style and clothing. When I saw that thing in my head, I was totally speechless. However, I was also totally late for the wedding so when Alejandro asked if I was happy with the result, I am not really even sure what I mumbled. I paid for the services and rushed out. Needless to say, my significant other was quite perturbed and could not understand how the process could possibly have taken so long, and then on top of that with such awful results!! We totally missed the church wedding. There are no words to express my level of anger, frustration and disappointment with these folks. P.S. I emailed this letter to Alejandros over a week ago before I decided to post it as a review. I wanted to give him the opportunity to apologize, however, I received no response. I have since had my hair reshaped and cut again to try and even out the hole that was on the side of my head. The exact words from the stylist who saw me was Oh My God! My hair is about as short as hair could be and as embarrassing as it is, I have no choice but to wait until it grows out. I am so disappointed at the treatment I received from Alejandro. My opinion, he thinks he is so good, that he mistakenly feels he can keep clients waiting for hours and in my case, not even return and they will keep on coming to his salon. No stylist is that good Alejandro. I thought about whether or not I should even write to you but I am so upset I felt I needed to. On Wednesday night, I had an appointment with Alejandro to cut my hair. I arrived on time, however, as usual, he was just beginning a hair cut which meant there was going to be another long wait. Before he began to cut my hair, I showed him a picture and specifically asked him NOT TO CUT MY BANGS. He did anyway. Even though I was not happy about that, I knew they would grow back and it was too late to do anything about it anyway since they were already cut. When I went home and washed my hair,I felt that it was too "round" and I needed a small adjustment on the sides to take out some of the volume. I knew I was going to be there the next evening to have my hair colored so I was going to have him fix it then. However, this is not my issue. When I came back last night to have my hair colored and to have Alejandro take some of the volume out from the sides of my hair, Alejandro left me waiting there for him for hours and never came back to the salon. I asked him prior to my hair being colored, to please do the sides first but he assured me that he would be there to do it after my color was done. When my color was finished, I was told that he had to leave for just a few minutes by Alex to pick up his son and he would be right back. So I waited. Then I was told he would be back in another 25 additional minutes. I waited. Then I was told that he was not coming back at all. Are you kidding me? I am a customer and he just left me sitting there for hours. His girls felt terrible and even tried to call him but he refused to get on the phone. This I couldn't believe. He put his younger son on the phone. There is no excuse for leaving a customer waiting and never return and although I appreciate that Alejandro says he charges me less than some, the way I was treated last night was inexcusable. One of his girls told me Isabell could do the sides for me since Alejandro didn't see fit to come back and felt that it was just fine for me to just wait for him...I then had to wait until Isabell was done with her last client. I am sure that she tried to fix the sides of my hair, but instead it now looks worse than before with a chunk just missing and this is not just my opinion, but everyone who has seen me today. I am sure she was tired and wanted to just finish up and leave for the day, as I did also, and I don't blame her for being put in that position. I did not write a review anywhere but am so upset that I was treated like this by Alejandro. I have been coming to him as often as I have been able to for many years. I am 53 years old and have never had an appointment with a business owner whether it be a hair stylist or another business person who would actually leave a customer/client waiting for them while they left and then not even return???? My hair looks awful and is so extremely short that I don't think anything can be done to make it look better until it grows out. If Alejandro had just taken some of the volume out from the sides of my hair when I asked and as he said he would, and not left me sitting there, this would not have happened. The first time I went to Alejandro's he gave me a nice cut, was very pleasant and I didn't have to wait for my appointment. Of course I decided to go back a few times and it all went downhill. He would make me wait a long time, even though I had an appointment, talked to other people while cutting my hair and would have other people blow dry my hair instead of him. The last haircut was a disaster. In the meantime I was doing my color and Keratin treatment with another lady in the salon who was very good and very professional. One day Alejandro and his wife tried to make me change from this lady to Alejandro's sister in law, telling me that she was much better than the lady that was doing my treatments. This convinced me that Alejandro is the most unethical person I've ever met. In all my life I have never seen someone put down one of their own employees behind their backs. Thankfully this lady no longer works for him and I no longer have to visit this salon ever again. read more

I had been a loyal customer for 10 years! In those 10 years I never let anyone touch my hair except Alejandro. I came the day before a wedding for a cut and dry. Alejandro let his assistant (who did not know what she was doing) finish my hair so he could start on another womans hair. He saw what a terrible job the assistant did so he told me to come back the morning of the wedding and he would fix it free of charge. The next morning I came in at 10am as told, I waited for an hour! the front desk called and called but he never answered. I had a wedding to attend so I left with my hair still looking a mess. I was very upset so I did not return for 2years. Then I made an appointment once again with Alejandro and patiently waited for an hour and a half as he he cut and styled a young ladies hair, her mother, and an assistant at his salon. Two of the women he "touched up" did not have appointments. I kept being told "just 10 more minutes". I felt disrespected after my last experience here. I then walked up to the front desk lady and told her to cancel my appointment, she apologized and I never heard back from Alejandro. I hear business is not going as great for him as before. I have reccomended many customers to Alejandro's and they all refuse to go back because of his poor Customer Care. read more
